She researched the area where we were looking and really not only listened to what we said we wanted, but took into account that we have 2 small children and a dog when she was helping us find homes (she recommended we not live on any of the main roads due to the risk of the kids or dog running into the street). She diligently searched for houses with us, and when she looks at a home, she's like the CSI of home inspection. Both my husband and I find ourselves looking at homes in a totally new light, and with a far more critical eye now :) She remained optimistic when we had an offer that fell through, telling us when the radon level came back too high that it was not meant for us to live there. When we eventually found a home through an acquantiance, which was for sale by owner, she stayed with us and helped with all the paperwork. She really made sure we didn't get a bad deal when the sellers didn't want to make concessions. And although she was working as the buyers agent, she was kind enough to help the sellers review their purchase agreement for the home that they were buying. She came to our final walk-through and went over the numbers we could expect to see at the closing. Debbie really is a great real estate agent. Looking back on our prior home purchase, my husband and I agree that we've never met someone as thorough, thoughtful and truly concerned about the welfare & best interests of her clients.
