I own a business and the branch manager here knows me they never place holds on my checks. You still need to go there to have that relationship. The bigger banks also need to have that relationship in order for a Branch manager to do this that I believe is the same everywhere. There is no perfect bank and have tried this and big banks and prefer the smaller environment to a bigger branch. Took about 2 1/2 months to close a dscr loan. the underwriting process was frustrating and poorly handled. We've been through many loans, refinances, and even second mortgages before, and this was by far the most stressful and drawn-out experience. As someone who does alot of flips and new construction and priorities speed, I would not recommend this lender to anyone. The interest rate was also much higher than expected, and we plan to refinance as soon as possible.
