He secured a great mortgage deal for us while also helping us to navigate a process that was particularly challenging because I was relocating my family across the country and switching jobs (which lenders categorically hate). Bryan is deeply knowledgeable about lenders' underwriting standards, as well as the "hot button" missteps that could destroy borrowers' prospects of securing a loan - of which there are many, some of which seem ludicrous from a common-sense business standpoint (but then again, mortgage underwriters don't operate based on common sense). I work in finance myself, but I must admit the mindset of mortgage lenders often escapes me; thus, it was highly valuable to have Bryan as an advisor. Buying a home is one of the most (if not most) expensive purchase. It is also stressful and can be aggravating! We found Bryan Kelly on yelp after our anticipated home purchase fell through. My husband and I were already exhausted by the process and disappointed that things weren't coming together. We had the good credit, secure jobs, and 20% down but for one thing or another things just kept falling through. On a whim, we left Bryan Kelly a voice-mail on a Saturday afternoon. He called us back about 20 minutes later saying that he was at a wedding in Florida but he would like to set up a meeting early in the week. We met on Tuesday, and he laid everything out. He was a miracle worker. Anytime we called or e-mailed with a question he was always available and gave us a clear answer that we actually understood.
