He isn't consistent with what he says. He gave one price over the phone then when he go to my house gave me another price with $100 difference. Now I've spent more on the tuning than what the actual piano cost! He's not punctual, he told me to expect him around 2pm but he actually got to my house at 3:30pm. He's also very stern. He looked at us like we were bothering him. No, not friendly at all. He took over 2 and a half hours working and said that was all he could do. He told me of a broken cord, that did not seem broken before, as an afterthought. He offered to replace it, at an extra cost, according to him it was already broken before he tuned it. He ended up recommending leaving it as it was becuase, "It's a cord that will never be used". Beware, make sure you get an accurate estimate before having him over to work on your instrument. Way too expensive!! read more
