I had built up a list of about ten tasks and it was time to do something about it. My neighbors all swore this guy walks on water, so I gave him a call. He perused my condo and assured me that everything was doable and should be no problem. He was booked for about ten days, so I had to wait a bit. Once he got going I was hugely impressed. His attention to detail was outstanding. His communication skills with me were spot on. The fit & finish of everything he did was impressive and when he cleaned up everything was immaculate. Note- He lives in North Highlands County and generally works in the Central and North parts of the county. He might be enticed to travel a bit more if the job is large enough. I would go above five stars if I could; he's that good!

What could have been something beautiful actually turned into a nightmare. I will first start off…read moreby saying that Carlos was a very nice guy in the beginning. My project began in September 2022, he picked up my tile the month prior. The project was estimated to take about 2 weeks and it was a full renovation of my front bathroom. This is an older house so the front bathroom is not really big. He started with the shower which he told me that he would have to poor the floor higher in order to make the drain fit. I agreed because I felt he was a contractor and knew his stuff, it took him over a month to tile my walls and finish the floor, he said the tile were too small(3x12 tiles for the wall) Fast forward to December 2022, I was still waiting on my shower door and vanity to arrive that he claimed he ordered and mishaps kept coming up that lead to product not arriving. I found that he never ordered my product when he received my down payment back in August and now in December we still didn't have product. So what was to take 2 weeks had taken months and I still did not have a fully functional bathroom. In January 2023, I decided to get a guy to give me an estimate for a shower door and come to find out that the floor was not slopped correctly and the curb was not installed correctly. I informed Carlos and until this day February 2023, I have not heard from him, the last time I seen him was December 7, 2022 when installed my toilet. So I am 6 months into a job that I know have to find someone to undue all of the code violations in order to have my bathroom up to code. I will also like to mention that he doesn't have a contractor's licenses and his LLC is expired.
