It was her listing. She insisted that the owners did not smoke, but we found it strange why the place had plug-ins throughout, and wanted to make sure there were no other odors being masked. She was syrupy sweet and pleasant and said she could show it to us again. We also asked if she could show us 2 other available homes in that subdivision. She said she could not get access to them at that time, but would call us after she made the appointment. She never called! She had our phone number as she had been texting us, so we knew she was blowing us off. I am guessing she figured we were "picky" buyers and would sell her listing to another buyer, which she did a few days later. She had the opportunity to possibly sell us another property, but she did not care. She must be doing pretty good selling properties if she could blow off cash buying clients! She cannot be trusted and is not a good agent.

He was never available for our open houses, meetings, or even our closing. When we addressed the issues with him he told us to "stop playing the victims" (paraphrase). We never felt like he was advocating for us as his client, but instead that he was just waiting for his paycheck, which we wish we could withhold, especially since we never saw him and only spoke with him if it was to have an argument. By far, working with Steve was the most difficult and stressful aspect of our cross country move. Over the course of three days we hit the pavement hard and looked at 19 houses. Steve asked me questions that helped me (a first time buyer) figure out what I wanted in a house and in a neighborhood. When I finally settled on a house, he gave me as much help as I wanted in making my first offer and in the proceeding counter offers. Once the offer was accepted he set up all of the inspections, handled the negotiated repairs and I flew back home to get started on packing up. When it finally came to closing, he met me at the house to do my finally walk through, and he was there at the signing to help me review the final paperwork.
