Odd review for me - who writes a review about a bank? No one, but me and the three other people…read moreposted here. lol I'm motivated to write because of our experience with Santos Fernando Aloi. We went in for a home equity loan and had spoken with some random person on the phone. They'd assured us that our current loan would be closed out, paid off, and a new one opened in its place. Didn't happen. When we went into sign with Santos, they'd just extended the current line. We didn't realize it would mean much, so we didn't care. But Santos said we could get a better rate with the original plan. So, he took the time to explain that and work with us over the course of a couple of weeks to get the loan type and amount that would get us the best rate. He didn't have to do that. He could've taken advantage of our naïveté and coasted through doing little work. Instead, he chose to make his job harder to give us quality service. You don't see that kind of commitment very often anymore.

The branch is located just past (or just before depending on the direction you're coming from) the Shops at Mission Viejo and Kaleidoscope - you have to make a turn onto a little side street to get to it and it can't be seen from Crown Valley Parkway - but with GPS, it's easy enough to locate. The staff is very friendly and more than one person came up and offered to help me even though I only waited for about a minute. There was a very short line inside the branch and no lines outside at the two ATM machines. The branch is very clean and inviting and there is ample parking even with several other businesses located in the same lot. My appointment was completed more quickly than I thought it would be and I was in and out of the branch in less than 15 minutes while still feeling like I had received terrific customer service. Oh - on top of all this I even received a reminder phone call the day before my appointment to make sure that the time and date was still convenient for my schedule. Great service!!

As if no one's got it together, let alone whatever issue it is with your system that constantly flags him trying to send funds. We are ALWAYS late on rent which looks bad on us and specifically me as I'm the primary leas holder. It has caused us late fees multiple times, money we don't need to spend if you guys just actually had it together. Unfortunately I can't convince him to leave you and get another bank, and it really should be your responsibility to take charge and figure out this issue as well as respond promptly to your clients that have accounts with you. The cashiers check process was also pretty straightforward and I was able to get in and out within 10 minutes without even setting an appointment. I think a lot of other banking institutions are moving to a model where there is less interaction with the associates and more electronic transactions, but it seems Schools First at least has a system in place that allows for the people interaction part and great customer support. It kind of reminds me of AAA, except AAA has ridiculous wait times for their in-person support.
