my wife found J & J Solutions through the Thumbtack app for a small outside stair we needed…read morerepaired off our upper patio and the replacement of a very old railing. Of the four contractors contacted, Wesly responded quickly and was at our house the next day asking all the right questions. we also discussed two other projects, more in just passing, but interested in what she would come back with. Within a day, she came back with a series of quotes, one for the stair job we needed, which was very reasonable and for a design that worked very well. Her team showed up the next day and were efficient and very detailed. Our three step project was done in a day and looked great! Although we told Wesly the price on the other patio resurface project was a bit more than we were ready to take on, didn't stop her from finding another option that cut the cost using a ceramic tile that offered better wear, more color options and a design that better matched our house. We could afford that! We were also able to redo a ghastly concrete step from our den that a prior owner bought at Home Depot and dumped in place. Wasn't to code either. The Team was back out and did a marvelous job! They were there three days, morning to late evening getting the job done. The result updated the back of our house, the slate and brick step off the den was to code and the patio was comfortable to walk on and made my wife's patio set look really good. The sleet and and snow were freezing onto the pavement and sidewalks, harder and harder each day. I called J & F landscaping. They promised me they would be out that day. Within a couple of hours of contacting them, they sent their crew out and did an excellent job cleaning everything up. It was tough work breaking through the crusted snow and ice. I had the pleasure of working with Jorge and his amazing crew to take down and remove 3 trees from…read moremy property. The entire experience was top notch from the very first phone call I made. He answered and took my information and had a quote to me within 24 hours. His quote was incredibly reasonable so I moved forward. His reviews and photos mirrored the type of company you would want to work with. He was able to provide me with a copy of his insurance as all trees were very close to structures, a fence, shed, deck, and my house. I was scheduled within a week due to some rain in the forecast. He and his team showed up on-time, as expected, and began working quickly but carefully. They had all of the necessary equipment, knowledge, and experience to remove the trees safely and protect my property. They were also very kind, polite, and easy to communicate with. There was not one piece of any of the trees that came down in a location that was not intended by the crew and in some cases was tied off and lowered to the ground piece by piece. Although they had to bring a lot of equipment into my yard, my yard was not damaged at all and their clean up was ABSOLUTELY impeccable! It honestly looked better than before they arrived due to some of the trees shedding from the winter. I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about Jorge and his crew. They are truly masters in their field and the fact that his communication was 100% customer focused was such a bonus. He took the time to educate me on options, possible issues with other trees on my property and you could tell he truly cares about the work he and his crew does everyday. I would recommend this company and crew with my whole heart and 100% confidence to anyone needing reasonably priced tree remove that you can rest assured with be completed with care as if it was their own property. Please consider giving Jorge a call when you are doing your research. I'm sure there are other good tree services in this area if you can get them to give you a call back, but you will have no worries from start to finish with Jorge and his crew guaranteed. will never use them again. they did lazy work and got mad when we asked them to come back and fix…read moreissues. we also have cigarettes burnt marks in are pavement that they have done. (this is a non smoking household) . they charge by the hour so watch out!!! they take way to many long breaks. if you use them be sure to keep a record of when they are working. i have asked them not to go do their business in the hedge after catching them. . you catch them again not do do that and they just laugh and took it like a joke! they cover up there left of rocks etc to make a landscape (after doing huge patio) with tarp and mulch over it to make it all look nice. however, all that mulch drift away due to mound to high and we discover all the rocks. cant plant anything there due to rocks. so now we need to tear it all up, remove the rocks and flatten out area so can plant and mulch without loosing the mulch. we do not recommend them ever!! very un professional.

The 3 member crew arrived on time and proceeded in a very organized and professional manner. The entire crew was courteous and left the lawn in a clean manner . Large logs were removed and a pile of scrap firewood was left for our use later. The supervisor checked with me during the day to insure that we were on the same page. If there is work you are looking to have done that is not in their realm of expertise (decking, concrete patios, etc), the owner is more than happy to assist you in finding a reliable contractor that will work well with the landscaping he has put in place.
