I have never liked getting my hair cut because most time I am not especially chatty and like to keep quiet. We both have had Stephanie cut our hair and she is a delight. Every once in awhile you stumble across a gem of a barber shop where you get a quality hair cut at a great price, Charlie's is one of those gems. The staff is professional and very welcoming, the owner takes the occupation of being a barber very seriously and gives a lot of consideration to the barbers that work there. I feel compelled to write a review for this awesome place after watching Steven, a barber here, give this baby his first ever haircut. This little dude cried like crazy, but Steven talked to him and explained the process to this baby the entire time which ended up with the baby calming down enough to get a haircut. This was one of those beautiful displays of humanity that really makes you remember a person and business. Went to Charlie's yesterday for a Flat Top cut. The staff were friendly, the price was ok at $18. Lots of sports memorabilia decorating the place. But the cut i got wasn't a flat top which is the reason for the 3 stars. Looks pretty much like a great shop for kids. Being 6' 2", though it was odd I still had to crouch down so the girl could cut my hair with the chair as low as it could go. read more

I know it's hard getting good help these days, but the last haircut I received there was torture. The haircut wasn't bad, but the woman who cut my hair...well, her Let's Go Brandon mug should have been my first clue to flee. Instead, I endured her lengthy rant against Massachusetts liberals. I said as little as possible so not to engage, provoke or discuss politics with her (she had scissors in her hands). But the ranting continued. I paid, tipped generously, and RAN out of there. TL/DR: Great atmosphere, great cut, great attention to detail at a great price. I gave them a call asking if they could do an undercut and a beard fade. The woman knew exactly what I was talking about and they were able to seat me right away. The interior is like a sports bar, with sports decorations all over the place and TV's everywhere playing ESPN. They have an attractive staff who were all very friendly and did a good job of engaging in conversation, without prodding too much. My stylist paid very good attention to my cut, and left me looking great. In addition to providing a beard fade, she gave a good outline and trimmed my eyebrows. Anything I mentioned or asked for she was able to do with confidence. It was a great cut that didn't take a substantial amount of time. I am very happy with my experience and will definitely make the trip from Falmouth again. Haircut was $14, and it was an additional $3 or $4 for the beard fade and outline. It's cash only, but I felt it was a great deal so I left a decent tip. The location is right across from the Santander bank and next to the Canterbury Cuisine restaurant in this little strip mall. read more

Worst haircut I've ever received, I've never wrote a review about a place in my entire life so that should tell you how annoyed I am by this haircut. Next time a client goes in listen to them don't do what you think will look good. Do what they want. It pains me that this is my hair for the next month. I'd rather cut my own hair with my feet holding a mirror then go back to this place.
