A barber who has been cutting hair almost as long as I have been alive. He understands exactly what he is doing and takes his time to make sure he does you well. He has a lot of random sports and toy nic naks on his walls and was watching westerns on a old tube tv that your grandpa would of made you get up and change channels for him. Corey is very friendly and very talkative. Telling about life stories and just listening to your story as well. Can't wait till he gets his straight edge back in use for a warm shave. The business is cash only so need to know that going in m, but I think he did a fantastic job on my hair and agreed that the "base" barbers messed my hair up last two times. He in fact pointed it out first. He has been cutting military hair for $25 years and only charges $12 a cut. You may have to wait if anyone is in front since he currently works alone but he is a great barber. Hands down will be going back!

I mean seriously, bringing up politics and trying to force a political point of view on a client is just bad form. If you agree with someone's politics or not it's probably not the time or place while they are sitting in your chair and paying you for a haircut not an opinion. I don't care what your politics are as someone who has owned a business it's just a poor sign that you can't put your politics aside long enough to even do your job, and provide a service. My wife felt so uncomfortable, it was just an all out terrible experience for her.

Anyways, my stylist was amazing. Her name is Ashlee. I came in for a root touch up, those quarantine roots. She took her time, she put a lot of effort into my hair. Because I have natural black hair and I like to be blonde. Previous stylist can't seem to blend and tone my roots good, but she was able to lighten it enough to blend great. I didn't get left with gold roots. & That made me so happy. I also got a trim, something so simple yet I'm loving the results of it. The only thing that threw me off was that I was charged $35 for the haircut. I mean I get it, but this was the first place that has charged me for a trim following retouching my hair. Nevertheless, I would recommend her.

Now, if you're at all like me, you know that the relationship you have with your stylist is extremely important. The longer you see your stylist, the more you become attached to them. The more they get to know you, the better your hair will look. So, it's no surprise the level of guilt I had in seeing someone new. I know it sounds dramatic, but it does feel like betrayal. So was it worth it? Absolutely. Donavan was extremely professional in every aspect. He helped me navigate through what style I was looking to achieve; walking me through products and steps to keep that look feeling fresh. He also offers "The Donny Experience" which entails a multitude of extras that cater to your need for pampering. I'm not going to list all of those here, but can say that if you have the time and want to treat yourself, well worth it. Any excuse to get the full treatment is a good excuse.
