I have been a loyal customer ever since the end and if Paul doesn't make the occassional appearance in the morning this would be a 1 star. If you have straight hair and don't want much done fine but if you have curly hair and want any type of fade I would highly advise to NOT GO HERE, I say this in the most respectful way but not only was the "fade" messed up but my hairline was pushed back and my hair uneven. This came just before school started so I was forced to buzz it all off. They seemed like nice people but extremely inexperienced in fades. read more

I have used a barber my whole life! I'm working my way into my 50s.. I have seen a great barber's.. I need to say these people are by far hands down they best barbershop in Davis County.. The shop brings you back when you was a kid if your my age. Antiquities around to look at. The conversations are never dull or boring. They keep things very clean.. while giving the best haircuts money can buy.. Don't take my word, go get yourself looking good again by the best.. Dawn makes me look 30 again. if you are not fussy about your hair cut and are satisfied then this is the place to go!! This is s father and daughter barber shop, and they get you in and out quickly as fast as they can. They make their money by getting you in and out and are not really concerned to much how you want it cut!! With that being said I was a regular, until I went there more the once to get my hair cut, and they were closed during their posted hours... Oh that is something that is forbidden because you lose customer confidence and trust... In fact this has happened more then once, but many times... I just finally made up my mind to find another barber.... Yes, I found another barber that was more expensive, but I love my hair cuts more than ever... Lost my old barber so on the hunt for a new one. Called for an appointment and the phone was answered with a quick, curt "JP's!" I was then informed they do walk-ins only. Based on other reviews that their appointments were rushed and the curt phone greeting, I get the sense that they're running a high volume, quick turnaround shop. Not for me. I need to look good in a professional environment and have one of those heads of hair that needs some meticulous treatment. Since I didn't go in I can't comment on the quality of their cuts or service, but there are enough signals that it may not be what I'm looking for. read more

Been coming to this shop since we moved into the area in 2016. Very happy with the quality of the cuts... I generally get an old school regular cut. Takes about 15-20 minutes. I'm pretty picky about my barbers. I have a thick head of almost flyaway hair. It usually takes a couple of visits to learn how the barber cuts, but once it's dialed in, I don't like to change shops. This was my first time at this barber and I discovered that this is a great little gem tucked away off the beaten path. It cost me $12 for a cut which is average in this area. The quality of cut is really good and didn't take long at all. What I would describe this barber is would be old school which just lends to his expertise.
