Despite that, we are now being told that they intend to keep our security deposit. This is extremely frustrating, especially after being given clear information during the move-out inspection that we would receive the full deposit back. We expected clear and honest communication throughout the move-out process, and this situation has left us very disappointed with how the matter has been handled. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Summit Properties to others looking for a property management company.

I could talk for hours about how horrible our "chalet rental" was but I'll sum it up and let my pictures talk for themselves. This place was absolutely disgusting. From the moment we walked in you could see dirt everywhere. There was BLOOD on the comforter in one of the bedrooms and when asked to get a new one they returned it a second time with the same blood stains on it! The carpet and couch upstairs smelled like pee, there was "mud" coming out of the downstairs pull out couch, the lights in another bedroom did not work, and there was mildew in the upstairs bathroom carpet. I will never ever recommend this place, nor will I be back. The health inspectors should examine this business and how it is run. Really they should shut them down. No refund or anything was given. Again just check out the photos. I wish I would have taken more of this junk of a place.
