Blue Ridge For Rent has a "go straight to the house" to get the keys policy, which saved us time, unlike the last trip we took, and their booking system and check-out instructions were simple. We called the contractor who executed the renovation, and they called on Ember Keepers to diagnose and fix the problem the contractor had created. Technicians Chance and Julian were on the spot 4 hours later. Polite, knowledgeable and responsive--we couldn't have asked for better. Within less than an hour they had us back "in the fire!" Explained everything as they went. While I know very little about chimneys or knowing what to look for, Graham went step by step with the process. Michael did a really good job of cleaning and then making sure everything was as it was when they arrived. They gave me an estimate for possible recommendations but were not at all pushy or "trying to sell" me on repairs. He explained what technically was needed and shared several options. Bottom line, I'd definitely recommend them. I have nothing to compare their work to, but based on my experience, I'd use them again for certain!

He showed us one property, and we gave him our contact information and told him we'd get in touch if we needed any further information. This was in July 2019. Reese has called us EVERY SINGLE SAY, SOMETIMES MULTIPLE TIMES since, and it is now September 21, 2019. His message are always the same; "Call me, I wanted to see if you got the message I left for you." It's like a sick joke, but it isn't funny or amusing. I have ignored his calls thinking he would get the message, but he obviously does not. I've sent him emails telling him we are not interested. He still calls. Every day. I've blocked his number. He still calls. Every day. I've sent him text messages telling him to leave us alone. He still calls. Every day. At this point, I am going to contact the NC Board of Realtors and file a complaint, because this is harassment on a level I've never seen before. Ever.
