I went here to pick up some donuts and a fritter and some kolaches on a Thursday morning around 9am. There were a couple people ahead of me in line but they were in and out right quick and also a table of local dudes having coffee and jawboning. It's just a basic donut/coffee shop looks and ambience wise however I think they have some very good donuts here! Kolaches and apple fritter were good too. Of note were the Boston/Bavarian cream donuts which are quite stuffed with the filling!! This location s slightly further from me than other local donut places however imho it was worth the extra time and drive. read more

Charlie has some damn good foods! They sell a variety of baked and fried pastry type stuff. I really like the kolaches a lot. I also like saying that word. k o l a c h e s Neat word. I think I'll just walk around and great people with it. They also have bear claws and maple bacon donuts and donuts with sprinkles and cinnamon rolls and donut holes and biscuit sandwiches and custom birthday donuts and hot coffee and hot chocolate and a whole cooler filled with many other delights! Is that a run on? Yes, but so is your face! LOL. Sorry. I may have a touch of the Tourette's. Does that give me the right to just blurt out random stuff? I sure hope so. I visited Charlie's for a couple dozen donuts before a golf tournament and even though they were busy I was quickly waited on with a friendly smile! The donuts were so big and delicious...and were quickly gobbled up with everyone asking where they were from! read more

Stayed in olive branch for the weekend. I was looking for some great doughnuts for the family. They didn't disappoint this doughnut shop is by far the best doughnuts i have had in years. Let's just say I have no reason being in here! But Charlie's Donuts are the best in town! The donuts are not overly sweet but just sweet enough to hit the spot. My favorites are the kolaches and the old fashion donuts. The owner is a very sweet lady who always has a smile on her face! I must warn you this place is very addictive!! Charlie's Donuts doesn't look impressive when you first see it. It's looks like an average Donut shop but that is where the similarities end. What a Gem we found! Be sure to get there early to get the best selection! They even have Maple Bars (which my husband is obsessed with)!! The owners/employees are so wonderful and attentive. I've even had them help me to my vehicle (I use a rollator)! My husband has been on the search for great donuts. We've tried a lot of locally owned donut shops. Woke up and my father-in-law had bought a couple of dozen, so I can't comment on the joint itself. But, let's be honest, they're donuts, and the brick and mortar of it all really doesn't matter. Just look at Gibson's--it's good enough for Alton Brown!Anyway.. these donuts were amazing. The red velvet, caramel, and blueberry being some of my favorites. I am a 48 year old fat guy. I have had donuts of every kind on 3 different continents. We moved to Olive Branch last month and we tried Charlie's. I can say without a doubt that these are THE best donuts I have ever had. They are always good. They are good the next day and even the next. Stop wasting time at Dunkin or anywhere else. For a reason I pass this place almost everyday and just last week I noticed it. The lady there told me they have been open for a year and a half now. The hrs are not the most comfortable, but I guess for some people that got to go to work early and pass through here is a good thing. The prices are good ($8.70 w/tax for a dozen) and the variety was very acceptable. I liked the flavor, they are not too sweet nor they are greasy or heavy, so I guess I'll be going back soon. read more

These are by far the best donuts in the area. I am from the west coast and have fond memories of eating maple bars as a child and Charlie's has them with an assortment of other great flavors that melt in your mouth.The maple glaze is sweet but not overly sweet like others I've tried.Go early and they will have a good selection.Not a chain, shop local. read more

I called Charlie's from 3,000 miles away in San Diego, to have some donuts delivered to some friends who are working hard, in Olive Branch. It was a total shot in the dark. But they had no problem with delivering 3 dozen donuts within 1/2 hour of my call to my friends. What outstanding service! But the best part is, they absolutely loved the donuts. This place started off fairly well. Their donuts were good, however not great. The last few of times I've been here they got worse with every visit. I don't know if there was an owner change or what happened but the taste and even the appearance of the donuts has gotten worse. Hopefully they figure things out before it's too late. read more

They are literally always out of donuts, never once have I been in there where they actually have a variety of choices, if you want to choose between two kinds of donuts this is the donut shop for you but if you like more than glazed and donut holes I would never go here. read more

When I was there no one was wearing hairnets. When I got home one of my donuts had a hair in it. Not just laying on top... It was IN the icing. I usually go to OB donuts but I was trying to find somewhere closer to home. Never again. I didn't check the rest of the donuts. Figured if it's in the icing everything was tainted. read more

We just love this place! We have it delivered through Uber Eats and Charlie's always goes above and beyond on our orders. They will sometimes include extra donuts or pastries and they always try to fulfill any special requests we have. Everything is always super fresh and tasty. I came in this morning to get donuts for work, granted I ordered 4 dozen, I was the only one in there so I didn't think it would be that big of a deal. Apparently it was because all I got was nothing but attitude. Then on top of that the donuts and other food I received was ice cold and seemed like it was old from the day before. Not a good away to keep people coming in if you ask me. Horrible customer service. Won't be coming back. read more

Donuts were ok but the place and service seemed a bit run down. I've been to Gibson's and several other top donut places in our country and these were closer to dunkin. Coffee was out so the lady behind the counter had to start a new pot. When it was done it poured slightly brown and the lady said maybe the next batch will be darker :-(. The shell gas station up the road probably had better coffee. Unfortunately, yelp did not come through on this stop. read more

I immediately returned to the shop to show the employee the issue and requested a fresh set placed in a box.
