The envelope was going to Utah, no insurance and sent 'snail mail' ground. The woman quoted a price of $15.00. She said 'prices have gone up'. I almost fell to the ground as the content of the envelope was probably less than the cost of sending it. I declined and left, went to the post office down the road and mailed it for $1.77. I understand they 'jack' their prices up for the convenience, but really???? Something seems a little fishy here at this location. This transaction took place AFTER the holiday rush.

On July 17, 2025, I visited this store to print a document. Instead of using an official UPS system or secure platform, the staff asked me to send the document to a Gmail account: store6144@gmail.com. Additionally, I was charged a $2.95 "File Access Fee" just for retrieving the document from the email. This raises serious concerns about privacy and data protection: * Does UPS authorize its franchise locations to use Gmail accounts to handle customer documents? * What protections are in place for customers' information when documents are sent to and accessed through a third-party email service? As a customer, I expect higher standards and stronger safeguards when handling personal or sensitive documents. I respectfully request that UPS investigate this practice and clarify its policies regarding secure document handling at franchised locations.

The book was approximately $160 for a brand new copy of the the textbook. On yesterday when I returned the book to recoup part of the cost, I was insulted when they told me that I would only receive $6 from their buy back program. This American College publication book was a problematic purchase at every level. It was not only hard to comprehend by most students in my class, but to then be told I would only receive about 4% of the cost of this required text just added to my personal insult. I have sold several books back to this store and have had to deal with the personnel there. Do not expect a high level of competency or professionalism from the personnel there. I will not be buying from them again. Use another resource please. Amazon can usually deliver in 2 days if you need a hard copy of a textbook.

Recommend: Absolutely based on my experience. Opened door, instantly greeted, surprised by the sheer amount of office 'things' you could do here, from printing MAPS to packaging and scanning. I do NOT see UPS stores this nice anywhere in Tucson, AZ or this well suited to handle professional services. Quickly communicated with by the Staff, took my product, thanked me for stopping in and with a smile, wished me a great day! I don't know if there has been a management changeover from reading all the 1-Star reviews (since 2021) but I saw no indications of substandard service on my visit.

There were three employees doing nothing and the man was still very rude. Edit: thanks for the response, but I do not work at ups. there's never a reason to treat a customer with disrespect like you did. All you had to do was ask nicely and I would have done what you asked. But what you did was say "that's not helpful " and then you got mad when I put the boxes on the wrong side? How would I as a customer possibly know what to do in your store. Every other ups is glad to receive the business and they do it with a nice greeting and willingness to help. Again a little courtesy goes a long way. I have never had any issues with any other ups or mail service, and I drop off many packages weekly so perhaps take this as constructive criticism and improve your attitude.

For me as a Venezuelan, I really appreciate the Venezuelan snacks, harina PAN for the arepas and the Venezuelan cheeses. I also go to the Asian section to get weird flavored chips, Mochis, a lot of Frozen dumplings. It's never a complete trip if you don't go to the restaurant area and get some food to eat there and some pastries to take home. Finish the day with a excellent boba tea

While the Pineville location remains my favorite thanks to its larger food hall and dining options, the Independence store still delivers an impressive experience. The selection is enormous. You'll find fresh produce from around the world, exotic fruits and vegetables, live seafood, blue crabs, an on-site fishmonger, and a full-service butcher counter. The international grocery selection is where this store really shines. Aisles are packed with staples from across Asia, Europe, Latin America, and beyond. Whether you're shopping for Thai curry paste, Vietnamese rice noodles, Japanese snacks, Korean sauces, Spanish ingredients, or Eastern European treats, chances are you'll find it here. One feature I especially enjoy is the freezer section. The cases are organized by country and cuisine, making it easy to browse and discover new foods. It's a small detail, but it turns grocery shopping into a bit of an adventure. On this visit, I came specifically for Korean black bean paste, dark soy sauce, and fresh green beans. Naturally, I left with a few extras. The candy aisle is dangerous in the best possible way. Their coconut candies are always tempting, and I can never resist grabbing a bag of Thai coffee candies while I'm there. The store has a large private parking lot and a loyalty program that offers additional discounts at checkout. If you're a frequent shopper, it's worth signing up. Is it as polished as some specialty markets? No. Is it one of the most interesting grocery stores in Charlotte? Absolutely. Give yourself time when you visit. This isn't the kind of place where you run in for one item and leave five minutes later. It's a place to wander, explore, and discover something new around every corner. Life is too short not to eat well, Charlotte. Grab a cart, take your time, and eat your way through Super G Mart.
