I have traveled to many cities in this country one thing that I always try and do even if its just…read morea lay over is watch some sort of the locals news . Habit I guess sometimes in a Hotel room at a friends House in a terminal or on the phone. In saying this I gauge all other Local Television News channels by WSOC-TV in Charlotte. This gauge is simple things like 1 ) Do the anchors know how to read?I mean I have sat at the anchor chair at CNN twice and read the prompter its not a difficult task but, one that needs to get accustom to .Do the anchors try and put to much arm movements and or facial expressions making the broadcast seem very fake? 2) Camera work are they some where they are or are not supposed to be?And when they switch from local to national is it seamless? And how many of those " Hey the camera should be on the person talking moments" 3) Reporters that actually report and ones that know just a little about what is going on at their location ok do a little home work. 4) Report stories that matter not Ms Smith left her gas cap at the c-store and 3 weeks later when she remember it someone " she guesses stole it 5) Give back to something for the area that people see you " Tools for schools" " Coats for kids" just to name a few. Show some sort of emotion about the story not a fake tear in your eye.... Well, this is my scale to gauge all news check out other channels . I mean how many bleach blonds does it take to read a " Q" card. Even the positioning of their legs tells you they are trying to get a audience HOW?. I think one channel should have a makeup company to sponsor them they use so much of it WSOC is for me http://www.wsoctv.com/index.html Enjoy the News ...

I have been watching a program when it was interrupted, and it was so close to news time, that they could have waited. You don't have those long interruptions on the other channels for hours, over something not important. Worst channel ever.

I have visited Charlotte three times on business this month. An avid reader, I enjoy buying the…read morelocal paper. Unbelievably, i have yet to find one for sale on the newsstand. This is even on Wed and Sundays , when they publish. Today, a Wednesday, I visited multiple 7-11s , Kwik Trips, independent gas stations, and even CVS. No newspapers. Nothing in CLT Airport, which is unbelievable. I've visited over a dozen stores there, in every terminal and no papers EVER. Nothing local, nothing national. I have spent so much time trying to give you money. What an insult to people who want to read and who want to support journalism. Every review here demonstrates you have a serious distribution problem. If you can't even get your own product to the airport, you deserve to go out of business. Sad what has happened to this paper (I remember it fondly when i went to Davidson College in the early 00's)

Tenured customers receive the short end of the stick when it comes the pricing. The actual internet and cell phone service itself leaves much to be desired. I pay for their top dollar package but I experience random outages, many dead zones, unexpected loss of internet/ cell phone service.. I can only imagine how terrible the service is for the lower level packages. I just regret moving to an area where google fiber doesn't exist.

In less than 90 days of service, I've experienced at least a dozen outages--many of them happening overnight between midnight and 4-5 a.m. with zero warning or communication. The service simply drops, as if reliability isn't even a priority. For anyone who depends on a stable connection for work, this isn't just frustrating--it's costly and unacceptable. What makes this worse is the complete lack of transparency and accountability. There's no proactive notification, no real explanation, and no sense that the customer's time or livelihood matters. It feels like Spectrum assumes customers won't notice or won't care--which is an incredibly poor way to operate a service people rely on daily. Paying for a service that repeatedly fails without warning isn't just disappointing--it's a breach of basic expectations. If you need dependable internet for anything important, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere. This has been one of the most unreliable and frustrating service experiences I have ever had, and their complete LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY has now become a legal matter, so GAME ON! ::
