I don't think I've reviewed a 'UPS' per se before, but after locating this adjacent to the COSTCO and needing to drop off an Amazon return, I have nothing but a 5-Star review to leave. Recommend: Absolutely based on my experience. Opened door, instantly greeted, surprised by the sheer amount of office 'things' you could do here, from printing MAPS to packaging and scanning. I do NOT see UPS stores this nice anywhere in Tucson, AZ or this well suited to handle professional services. Quickly communicated with by the Staff, took my product, thanked me for stopping in and with a smile, wished me a great day! I don't know if there has been a management changeover from reading all the 1-Star reviews (since 2021) but I saw no indications of substandard service on my visit. read more

Rudest ups guy in the area. I frequently go to ups stores around town and this guy was by far the lead cooperative and helpful when it came to me unloading my packages. There were three employees doing nothing and the man was still very rude. Edit: thanks for the response, but I do not work at ups. there's never a reason to treat a customer with disrespect like you did. All you had to do was ask nicely and I would have done what you asked. But what you did was say "that's not helpful " and then you got mad when I put the boxes on the wrong side? How would I as a customer possibly know what to do in your store. Every other ups is glad to receive the business and they do it with a nice greeting and willingness to help. Again a little courtesy goes a long way. From the moment I entered the store, three friendly faces greeted me and hurried to assist me. I was so impressed that I asked their names which they bashfully provided. Lalitha, Ira and Kajal, I thank you for all the times you three have assisted me over the years with notary, mailing, copying and printing services. The many skilled-solutions you offered really helped me quickly accomplish what I had to do in today's competitive world. I came to this location to print out an assignment for class however the staff at this location were underwhelming unhelpful. Not only were they not knowledgeable in utilizing the printing equipment, this resulted in waiting around with no knowledge of what was happening due to the lack of communication from the employees. Furthermore, when the printing was finally completed it came out discolored and portions of the images were cut off. After explaining this, they provided no solutions and instead blamed my file which was not the case. What made matters worse, they proceeded to laugh as I left the establishment. I would not recommend printing at this location and will not be returning. The employees were generally not very knowledgeable and very unprofessional. On the other hand, I'm glad my grievances could be a source of entertainment. read more

Probably the worst place you could ever go to ship something. This location should be shut down at the sole reason they don't lift a finger or want to touch anything you bring in. One time I brought in a return, that was shipped to me in the box I brought it in to return, and they wouldn't ship it. Although UPS shipped it to me in the condition it was being return. They made me Purchase a new box to remove it from to put it into and I had to pay out of pocket, so they could make something off me using the Amazon return with UPS. Tried to ship something with them for a second time, after leaving fedex where they didn't even want me to tape it up and insisted on tapping it up for me giving PROPER customer service. I asked to borrow the tape to tape a hole in the box, they refused to allow me to use the tape and said I would have to pay for tape. Just shut it down. You can tell they don't want to work and they don't know what their doing expect swindling the people that have to use them for returns. read more

"Stole my sneakers" If I knew beforehand my package was going to be stolen. I would have been avoided this whole experience. Dropped a couple packages off but this one in particular never made it.The manager desi dude never gave me a drop off receipt, cool didn't think nothing of it. Told me he couldn't give me one. Thought that was weird. Watched him package the box and everything. Got my charge receipt from shipping from the other packages, I was charged the print fee on top of some other pointless a** charges. (Penny pinching type store). I had to open an investigation because the package never made it to Atlanta (I usually ship on Friday's and my packages make it Monday or early Tuesday) very weird. Went Back and forth with everybody literally sh*ts annoying. A month later still nothing, got in touch with somebody who had some sense and wanted to work with me. Told me to reach out to the store one last time, did that the same guy who packaged and rung me up told me there's no record of the package. What the f**k do you mean there's no record ? Literally got a receipt for the proof of the Eprint and that's why I emailed them the shipping label. It's just funny how the last place a dropped off it never made it because of an unusual routine from the store manager. First time even encountering this guy the ladies there usually take care of me. I'm super good on returning to this location. Shoulda listened to my guts something told me not to go. read more

Service here is great and the staff is quick to help. With Amazon's option to drop off at UPS I find this even better because its a quick drop off and I'm out the door in seconds. Shipping is expensive here but I don't think it's any better or worse than USPS (good luck) or any other shipping method. If you can find your own packaging materials and just need UPS to ship then you should be good to go. The price increases exponentially if you need them to pack and ship. read more

I have never posted an online review, but felt compelled after my interaction with the manager at this UPS store. I made the mistake of attempting to mail an item from UPS when the original vendor required I mail from USPS. The manager of the UPS store--MB--pointed out my mistake in a rude, disrespectful, and condescending manner and immediately turned his back to me to assist the next customer. I found the experience rather uncomfortable, particularly in front of several people already in the store. I have worked in professional settings where customer service and relationship-building are paramount. The appropriate response to me could have been the following: "I'm sorry sir. Your vendor requires you mail the item from USPS. It's a natural mistake that happens quite frequently. You can find a post office within 1-2 miles of my store. Here is the address. Hopefully, we can be of service to you in the future. Thank you". He would have had a loyal customer for life. read more

Stopped in to print a single page, most UPS stores charge $.40 per page. I was charged $2.75, plus $.30 printing a page in black and white. I asked the consultant why she did not disclose the the 2.75 before printing out the document. I explained that is high as compared to other UPS stores. She commented that I was required to pay for it now that it was sent to the printer. There were 5 people in line, backed up, since one of the attendants not know how to work the camera for another customers passport Photo. You should have a sign acknowledging that all print jobs require a $2.75 fee. read more

Wow. Beth is legitimately incompetent. Came in with an Amazon return. Took her over 3 mins to scan the barcode. Then proceeded to tell me that my little small .5 lb. return had to be boxed (most Amazon returns don't require packaging - the store packages for you). I told her that I didn't have a box on me and asked if I could just use one of their FREE poly mailers that are given out to everyone. She said "no. That's not how we make money here. This is a business." I told her I know how a business runs. We spend over $45k shipping with UPS monthly. She just shrugged. Thanks for not giving me a free UPS poly mailer Beth! Consistent poor practice in nickel and diming the customer. $2 to tape a box. Because they can. No other store employs this petty practice. I recently ordered a book through amazon for school. It was about time to return it and was told to bring it to any UPS store and they would send it back. Upon walking in, I was greeted by a sweet young lady. I didn't catch her name, but I was in on Saturday April 25th at about 10:30. The process was quick and painless. She asked if I wanted a receipt and I said yes. I did not have a problem here at all. I was in and out in all of 2 minutes. Thanks for making it easy for me! This is the WORST UPS store that exists. I recently moved and this is the closer one to me now and I will purposely drive twice the distance to go to my other location. They price gouge you here to print things ($2.50 flat fee and $.27 per page) where my old one only charged by the page (for mailing labels). Over $3.00 to print a label is ridiculous. The rude women that work behind the counter definitely don't help either. Save yourself a trip. read more

I use this UPS Store often, even have rented a PO Box here. The staff is friendly and it takes care of my shipping needs. Downside is that the shopping center it is in is pretty popular, so a plus..., but the parking lot situation can get a bit crowded at times (usually the times I need to park pretty close to get a heavy box shipped). read more

The mail boxes are 100 more then other closer stores. They will literally charge you far a 6" piece of tape.. you can ship your package for way less at a USPS or another ups location. I frequent this location often returning various packages, mostly Amazon. All times I entered a UPS location I am asked for my QR code and it is scanned on my phone. However, the man working today 6/20/2021 at 11:16am acted as if he did not want to handle the packages. I gave him the QR code for the first package and then for second. He then asks me which package it was so he could put the right label on it. All I do is provide the QR code for the right package as I have no idea what the labels mean nor do I care. He proceeds to tell me that it's my responsibility to know which label he needs to put on the package. No sir, that's your responsibility, you work there. As many times as I have returned Amazon packages no one has ever asked me about the label he or she is supposed to put on the package. This man was very unprofessional and tells me if I don't get my refund I will have to take it up with Amazon. Really?! This is who we have working! read more

Brought my LL Bean Package for return and quickly realized that the return shipping label was not correct from store staff, as the item was direct shipped by the manufacturer. Called LL Bean and they provided a correct label that I needed to print at the store. Gentleman running the store said I would need to pay for the printing which I agreed to. As he rung me up, he indicated the total to print the label and log onto the computer to retrieve the label was $5 and some change.....highway robbery......went so far as to say he would take $5 as a discount.........this went from a great customer experience to less than ideal. You may think its odd to write a review about a UPS store. One must really love or despise a shipping store to feel motivated enough to write a review. Thankfully in my case, it's the former of the two. With a jam-packed schedule of working full time and going to school, I do a lot of my shopping online. Being the picky consumer that I am, also means a lot of returns. I decided to try this UPS store as an alternative to the Post Office in Matthews, which has a lunch time line often out the door. I've always been in and out of this location and rarely have had any wait at all. One of my favorite things about this store is the customer service. It is locally owned (part of a franchise) and the owner takes care in what he does and it shows. I often bring in boxes that need to be sealed up and they take care of packing, everything right there, free of charge. I don't think many people would list shipping parcels on their fun activity list, but I am assured when I do have to make a shipment, I'm in good hands. read more

I come here all the time and never have an issue with the cost, communicating the timing of the package delivery, etc. My daughter went and had a few packages to mail. Was dealing with a female behind the counter and no issue with determining when she wanted the packages to arrive (which is a cost factor). After reading several reviews on Google, on here, and experiencing the same exact rudeness from the owner, I am leaving a review, which I never do. I typically do not use this UPS store. I will not be returning. I went to make an Amazon return. The items had been shipped in 4 separate packages, so it required 4 different labels. Two of the items were almost identical. I asked for help on these two items to ensure the correct label was scanned. The owner immediately said, "I cannot help you." Not, let me see if we can figure this out. Not, that can be tricky. He was immediately done helping. I asked for help. I asked him about the label on the one package. Nothing. I then went to another UPS store, who immediately helped me. When I called the Matthews store to explain how the other store had no issues and how helpful they were, he took no responsibility at all. No one was in line behind me. I was the only one in the store needing help. It is amazing to me that he had someone in front of him asking for help, who asked multiple times, but he felt absolutely no impulse to do so. I came here expecting a positive experience based on the good reviews, and left extremely disappointed. I have even waited 2 days since my visit to give myself time to calm down from being downright angry about my bad experience. I was quoted $64 to ship a priority package that weighed one pound. The exact same package at the FedEx store cost $9 to send overnight. And it was even delivered earlier than promised. That's a no-brainer--use FedEx. read more

The owner, Mumukshu went above and beyond to help my parents and I get some papers notarized, copied and mailed. I live out of town, but needed some papers notarized with my father who is not mobile. He personally went to the facility where my father was and helped my parents get everything notarized. He sent all the information to me with photos and allowed what could have been a seemingly difficult process, to go smoothly with a reasonable price. He was very personable, understanding and accommodating. It's not common for you to meet people who are willing to work with a full heart , but to my surprise, he did. The UPS Store 2729 in Matthews Township Parkway helped me with a package issue in a way that no other courier service has ever assisted in any situation. I had a business package that absolutely had to be there the next day and a mechanical issue at corporate delayed the package. So I said ok he took package put in another box took 2 minutes chafed me 7 something for box then rang up another 7 something for his time. Sent an "overnight letter" on Thursday to Memphis for $41. It arrived on Tuesday. Asked for at least a partial refund but was denied due to inclement weather. USPS delivered on Friday and Saturday, it wasn't too inclement for them and they had a lot more deliveries. Please don't use this place, they don't stand behind their service! read more
