Century 21 Neil Co is a horrible (or sadly, typical) property management company. There's a reason…read moreonly 200-some people like this page in a community of 20,000+! We moved here from the Portland area this spring. My family and I rented a home in Green. From day one, I let every person I talked to there know that the carpets were in horrible condition and needed to be replaced. But I knew that they would try to say we did excess damage. Because that's how these guys make their money. Literally, if someone spilled water on the carpet, it turned orange. And, I was right. Neil Co charged me for cleaning the carpets, and added an additional charge for excess cleaning. We found cockroaches shortly after moving in. I called Neil Co, I was told someone would come spray. Nobody ever showed up to spray. Additionally, they charged me another fee for "flea treatment" for my pets. My pets do not have fleas, they did not have fleas when I lived there, they did not have fleas before I lived there, and they don't have fleas now. So I'm not sure why I'm getting charged for flea treatment that wasn't necessary when I had cockroaches in my home. They charged me approximately $300 for filling in holes and repainting. When they specifically ask that you don't fill in holes or touch up paint on the move out checklist. I knew we were only going to be in this home for a few months, I only hung up maybe 8 things with very small nails. How does it cost $300 to putty 8 small holes and dab some paint on it? The bottom line is, they are saying that my family did $1600 worth of damage to a home in a matter of 6 months. I got my entire deposit back at my last rental, and I got most of it back at my rental before that. I have receipts and rental agreements to prove it. I expect that they would take what was owed to them, but it's so obvious that they scraped up any and every charge they could think of in order to make the most money off of us. I know that this is pretty par for the course with property management companies. But it's sad for this area because they are the biggest property management company in town, so people have no choice. I'm lucky to not have to rent anymore, but I think everyone should enter into agreements with eyes wide open! Your deposit is a donation to NeilCo. Don't expect to get treated fairly by these jerk offs.

She was always responsive, clear, and kind which made a stressful transition a lot easier especially when I was sick and with walk-through tours that worked with my schedule due to my teen being home. I really appreciated how she stayed on top of everything and kept me informed every step of the way. I also want to mention the front desk receptionist she was incredibly kind and helpful whenever I stopped by or called with questions. It's always nice to be greeted with warmth and patience, especially during a busy time. I'll be adding another review once Bell completes the final move-out inspection but I wanted to take a moment now to highlight the positive experience I've had with Meahgan L and the front office team. Thank you both for making a difference!

Black mold everywhere. The overhang over her front door leaks, which has caused damage to the floor below. Stephanie won't do anything about any of this. Not to mention that when my niece's oven stopped working in 2021, it took 7 months for Stephanie to get the stove replaced. I sure as hell wouldn't recommend ANYONE renting from Clear & Concise Property Management

*Note, I am not the person whose home Carrie D. saw vehicles, trailers and unleashed dogs at. Thank…read moreyou Carrie for reporting a widespread problem that was occurring at my home too One star is for Stephanie's appearance of professionalism while two legal tenants and an ESA "puppy" that turned out to be a large neglected dog that it took months (over 3) to place in my home were destroying it due to neglect, letting many people and animals live in it unchecked by Stephanie who also *will not* allow the homeowner to see their investment due to the "problems it causes." Mine was lived in for one year and the tenants, and many unauthorised people and animals, caused $50,000 in damages. How did this happen you may ask? Homeowners read your contract closely. I swear I checked the in-home inspection box but the contract was updated at some point after I signed it and when I looked again after the 'update' the check was gone. Stephanie will do a drive by every three months. A chicken coop, some extra cars, and unauthorized cats in the windows and yard don't phase her. It took two chicken coops, several cats, at least four cars, an RV and an undisclosed amount of dogs before she took action, which she then wanted a pat on the back for. She did ask them to move and they complied, leaving behind many hauls to the dump and clogging the toilets again, this time with human waste and planter dirt!?! With only one drive by in three months, and 'believing' tenants stories about new cars in the driveway, not informing the owner of new discoveries unless *they ask* and she's ready to tell, and keeping the owner completely off the property too, that's how it happens. Look at her full company title, IT'S AN LLC FOR A REASON. Kicker is that when I decided that I had had enough of Stephanie's non-performance and decided to sell (never blaming her, always professional myself) she insisted on keeping the rest of the money she would have made had I kept "renting" my home. Renting is in quotes because she couldn't rent it out for anything more than what I was paying in mortgage, taxes and insurance. Then she blamed me for how things went while I ate my life savings. Bless her heart
