My family loves this place! They have the best Thai food in the area for sure. Everything we ordered was delicious and flavorful! The ambiance is very quaint and the owner and her team have quick service and are very warm and kind. Will definitely be coming back!

I come here rather frequently and realized I haven't yet left a review but over the last year I have been coming here. I frequently get the Tommy Yum soup. The spices are extremely flavorful. The shrimp inside is always so fresh and the customer service is so friendly. The ambience is very peaceful and calm. There are plants and flowers around making it for a great place to stop in and have a meal

I came here on a Wednesday night and got seated right away. The parking lot felt a bit sketchy but it was mainly due to the surrounding establishments. Everything was fine though. I ordered the Charm Fried Rice (medium spice level) but had a hard time choosing between that or the Khao Soo Chicken. The atmosphere was nice - it was darkly lit and you can watch a TV or stare into the kitchen to look at the massive woks. My food came in less than 10 minutes and it smelled so good. The pork skin is crispy as advertised. It was perfectly friends and bubbly. The pork meat itself was a bit dry, but I think the trade off is worth it for the skin. The portion size, including the amount of meat, was good and the spice level was comfortable. After this I ordered a fried banana with ice cream. I chose a vanilla ice cream. It was good but nothing special. I like how the banana isn't too sweet. Overall I was very happy with my meal here and still think about that crispy pork skin from time to time.

I'm really picky about Thai food and this was a random drop in as we were in the neighborhood. Wasn't prepared to thoroughly enjoy every bite and sip I took! Service was great without being overbearing. They had a few tables filled and a steady stream of pick up orders for a Monday night. Parking is free in the plaza. No trouble finding a spot. Food: so I always get panang curry and pad kee mao wherever I go, and both were the tits. Loved the flavor and consistency of the curry, both the panang and the green, though green had a bit more fish sauce to it. Noodles were excellent, with just enough noodle to veggie ratio. I asked for mild and it was actually mild enough for kiddo to try everything - but he did say "noooo" to the panang, haha. The teriyaki chicken was also really tasty and exactly what I expected. Important to note that rice does not come with the dishes so order separately. Thai iced coffee always slaps so do yourself a favor and get one. Would definitely return if we're in the area. Support your local businesses!

Stopped in for lunch today since we were in the area. They're located in a strip mall with adequate parking. Husband and I both ordered off of their lunch menu. We had pad thai, which came with 2 fried dumplings and a green salad. I liked their tofu pad thai, as they had a generous portion of tofu. Noodles were nicely prepared and seasoned. We also ordered a Thai iced tea and Thai iced coffee. Bathroom was clean for the most part. We both enjoyed our meal and would return next time we're in Santa Clarita.

One of the best Thai food restaurants out of Thai Town. They served some unique Thai dishes like Fish fermented entrails curry and fried Larb. Very tasty with all the correct Thai herbs.

I come to Charm Thai all the time and this last meal was so exceptional I just had to leave a review. Their Tom Kha is some of the most flavorful Tom Kha I've had. The food is always freshly prepared. They never skimp on protein or spice. The staff is so nice and attentive. Will def be back soon!

Love this spot. The food is delicious and the spice is perfect. I got Thai Spicy and it tastes just like in Thailand. The server is so kind and works hard to take care of everyone. The restaurant is super clean. Best Thai food in SCV.

Yelp highly recommended this place, so we gave it a try, and I'm glad we did. The food was fresh, affordable, and exactly what we needed after a long day on the trail. The Tom Kha soup was outstanding, and the Panang beef curry had great flavor with plenty of heat. Family run business and that means service was excellent. If you're traveling along Highway 14 or heading back from the mountains, this is definitely a place worth stopping for. I would absolutely recommend it and will be returning on future trips.

Everyone was friendly, attentive and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We ordered mixed vegetables / chicken lunch special & the basil vegetable/tofu plate - both were really really tasty. Full of flavor for sure! The salad was crisp and fresh, and the ginger dressing was so good it should honestly be sold in the bottle at the counter! The soup was also amazing and made the meal feel even more complete. The value was good because the food was of a higher quality than you normally get at many lunch spots. Fresh ingredients, great flavor, friendly service and very enjoyable meal overall. The restaurant was extremely clean - The bathrooms were well maintained/fresh/clean. I imagine all restaurant owners have one of those two options in mind at the start. So, when I saw that there are two Siam Rice restaurants in Santa Clarita, I thought these must be people who want to grow and expand. Now, since Siam II is closer to my house, I chose to try it first, of the two. I looked at the pictures, the menu, and the reviews here and thought it was a good choice for a standard Chinese meal, with a bit of a twist that they also apparently serve Thai dishes. We ordered just the Chinese dishes without meat. Siam Rice permits substituting tofu for any meat element in all of its dishes. They also let you choose mild, spicy, medium spicy, and hot spicy. Great idea. I was able to tell them to leave out any MSG from our meal, as I am allergic to it. They readily agreed. So far, so good. The service is quick and pleasant. Both people who attended our table were accomodating, if a bit subdued. We ordered quite an array of choices and the food came out quickly, piping hot, and well arranged so as to look appetizing. All of it was good, Cantonese style Chinese (we didn't choose a Thai option, apart from Thai Tea). It was tasty, especially the string beans with garlic and the vegetable Spring rolls. These dishes were also almost identical. We asked for a fried rice, a noodle, and a tofu with vegetable main dish. It appears that all the vegetables and seasonings for those three are the same and so, while satisfying and filling, they could not be distinguished from each other, apart from rice vs noodles. The Thai tea was strong and sweet, as is its nature. The place was clean, with clean floors, tables, and windows. All of this makes for a good, local place that I imagine draws a lunch crowd from Saugus and Railroad Avenue, and likely a local Friday and Saturday night clientele too. Since Railroad Avenue is not, say, Sunset, Wilshire or Santa Monica Boulevards, Siam II is unlikely to attract people much farther than eastern Santa Clarita and maybe don't have any ambition to do so. And that may be their intent, it is hard to know. If I were to make a recommendation to the owners: I think it is time to re-paint the entire restaurant. The ceiling tiles should be replaced. I would also add more Thai decor, as that is unusual and exotic and would make for a unique distinction that I am sure customers would find charming. I would also do something to the lower "vestibule" that serves as the entry (see my picture) to the upper dining floor. It looks like a place to stop in and get lottery tickets. It should be inviting, warm, attractive. New paint, more Thai and Chinese art, accessories, and artefacts, and perhaps some plants would go a long way to matching the ambiance to the food quality. There is convenient parking in front and back, and the prices are very reasonable.

Love the purple ambiance inside and the staff is friendly, they had calm background music playing. I felt welcomed, they were very attentive and sweet, loved chatting with them! It was clean inside as well, As for the food, chicken satay was my favorite that alone gets 5 starts, loved the flavor on these ones - I wish they gave more than 5 pcs tho as they are small and also would love if they come with a burner that you can roast them over a flame like some Thai places do, makes it more fun to eat that way but the flavor was amazing and the salad that comes with it was good. The Tom Kha chicken soup was good too, I feel like it could be more flavorful, would like less tomatoes/mushrooms but still loved it, the fire went out way too fast, needs to be on longer and they were not able to relight it. As for the cashew nut, it used to be very good years ago, idk if the recipe was changed? The last 3-4 times we tried it's not that good, it's bland and needs more flavor/marination/spice maybe the sauce needs to be a little thicker , it was actually tasty the next day when I reheated it probably because it had time to marinate in the juices. Their Thai iced coffee is really good, very strong as most Thai iced coffees are but their coffee has the best flavor, I put extra cream in mine and they were happy to give me as much as I needed. I will most definitely be back!
