The food was great and the service was amazing. Their spaghetti Panang plate is absolutely delicious and their green curry is great but the spaghetti panang blew me away! WOW.

Chicken Satay

The food was okay, but the service was very disappointing and made our dining experience unpleasant. Our waitress, who had long dark hair, rushed us and asked us to pay while my husband and I were still eating our entrées, rice, and noodles. We had not even started our dessert yet. This made us feel unwelcome throughout the meal. We would not return unless this waitress' service issue is addressed.

Thai Yaki felt like a hidden gem on my road trip! Driving through Santa Clarita, I ended up stopping here thanks to great Yelp reviews. As a result, I got to enjoy incredibly delicious, complexly seasoned Thai food that gave me the energy for the rest of my drive. Thanks, fellow Yelpers! The restaurant is in an unassuming lot with plenty of parking and is just a little off the highway. We were greeted right away. Inside, the lights and interior create a really cozy atmosphere. Even though it was a Wednesday evening, groups of customers constantly came in. You could tell this spot is a local favorite with how warmly and familiarly the front of house greeted diners. *Steamed Fish Fillet with Ginger Sauce: This was so delicious and savory! The bite of the ginger is present without being overpowering, and it pairs well with the fish. I appreciated that the portion of fish was large and that the meat was soft and tender. It's also such a cute little detail that this dish comes in a silver fish platter; that kind of thing really makes me smile! *Mixed Vegetables with Chicken: Like most of the entrées, this dish lets you pick your protein. I wanted to add some veggies to our meal, and this was a great pick to do it with. I was pleased with the variety of vegetables, and they were cooked perfectly. I also wanted to give kudos to the fact that there was a lot of chicken added to this dish. It's worth stopping here! I'm glad I had the chance to try this place out, and I wouldn't have found it without Yelp!

The food is always great and the service too! This is one of our go to places for good food. The ambience is great, very chill. I love their decorations. I also like how they have a big tv that shows you different parts of Thailand. One day we will visit.

My friends and I were craving thai food and this was the perfect place!! Everything we ordered was so delicious & flavorful. They had lots of cute decorations up throughout the restaraunt and everyone there was so kind & attentive to us. Overall a 10/10, I'd love to come back again!

First timer here. For starters the appetizer was my favorite out of everything else we ordered. The thai tea and the Vietnamese iced coffee were fine. Now on to the main dishes; the kapow tasted like every other traditional one's I've tasted before. Taste was great! But I honestly felt like they skimped me out on the amount of ground chicken. It was def more veggies than protein. So I wasn't that full by the end. The pad thai was cooked perfectly. As for service; there was only one lady working, she was kind. But there was a moment where she took too long to come back to our table to ensure that needed anything else. We asked for chili sauce and she never brought it. So my bf had to get up to ask for it. We didn't like that because there were only 3 people total dining in besides us 2. Would I return? Maybe. Just wouldn't want to get shorted protein again lol

Great flavorful food. We had tom yum soup, thai chicken noodle soup, and eggplant chili basil (you can get this not spicy, even though it says chili). The setting was comfortable and the service was great. Will definitely be back.

This was stopover restaurant, we had ordered one soup and fried rice. But we did not look into the ingredients and the soup had fish sauce. We realized only later, but they generously agreed to redo that. Kudos for that. But it is really understaffed and the servers are overwhelmed, that comes through in the service. It can be 5 star, if they have adequate staff. So all of us were little down, so we had ordered both Tom yum and Tom Kha soup. I would say this is one of the best soups we had in a thai place, freshly made, hot and soupy and right quantity. Most of the restaurants lacks these characteristics and makes less desirable. Ratio of vegetables or tofu with respect to liquid in soup was perfect. Thai basis fried rice was ok, missing basil , it was there just barely. Vegetables were also on the lower side it would have been ok if the lot of basil was there. Spice level also was low even though we specified it spicy. Also little short on seasoning, not a bad dish but also not ok. Panang curry was creamy and had everything needed and the peanut flavor cam through nicely. Ambiance was nice and cozy. I won't mind stopping again here!

We started with the vegetable egg rolls. We also ordered the Swimming Chicken Rama, Pad See Yu and Pineapple fried rice. Everything was terrific!

So my husband and I went here last weekend for the first time because we love Thai food and are always looking for something new! The service was great to start, we were actually the first ones there lol but it was still great. Ambiance is nice they have a large screen TV playing with their home Islands I believe, lighting was nice with the Decor they have. The food came out pretty fast which was wonderful cause we were hungry, we ordered to start Tom Kha soup which is our favorite and it didn't disappoint so good, then we ordered Chicken panang Curry which also was very good, Pad see ew with chicken which is my favorite dish and was also super good, and last dish my husband wanted was Eggplant Chili Basil which he loved but not for me. All and all it was good Thai food if anyone is curious and wanting to try.

My food was prepared promptly, and everything came out fresh. The pad thai really stood out because it wasn't the typical bright orange version I'm used to seeing. The flavor was different in the best way balanced, fresh, and incredibly tasty. I also tried the mango sticky rice and loved it. It reminded me a little of arroz con leche, which was a pleasant surprise. Some of the rice was a bit firm, but I brought it back to my hotel before eating it, so that may have affected the texture. The flavor was still excellent, and the sweet mango paired perfectly with the rice. Overall, the food was delicious, the service was efficient, and the atmosphere was calm and welcoming. I would definitely return.

I ordered the Charm Fried Rice (medium spice level) but had a hard time choosing between that or the Khao Soo Chicken. The atmosphere was nice - it was darkly lit and you can watch a TV or stare into the kitchen to look at the massive woks. My food came in less than 10 minutes and it smelled so good. The pork skin is crispy as advertised. It was perfectly friends and bubbly. The pork meat itself was a bit dry, but I think the trade off is worth it for the skin. The portion size, including the amount of meat, was good and the spice level was comfortable. After this I ordered a fried banana with ice cream. I chose a vanilla ice cream. It was good but nothing special. I like how the banana isn't too sweet. Overall I was very happy with my meal here and still think about that crispy pork skin from time to time.

I am sometimes craving for Thai noodles especially Rad Nah (flat rice noodle with gravy), or Tom Yum Noodle Soup . This place fulfilled my craving. As their name seems to focus on noodle, most of noodle dishes are good...flavorful and using authentic ingredients. For example they use Chinese broccoli in Rad Nah which is the right thing to do. Many restaurants use western broccoli. But I understand sometimes Chinese broccoli is not available. But this place uses it every time I get my order. + The pasta Moo Yang is also delicious. This dish is fusion. Moo Yang is Thai grill pork. Even though food is good & flavorful, it is a bit leaning on the salty side. When I went for pick up, employees are nice and friendly. I love the interior. The wall is colorful. One side has good food pictures and a fake chalkboard containing the word "delicious " in many languages. And another wall has cool Buddha paintings. This place still rocks!…read more Nick and crew still throw down great food and its just as good as it was 15 years ago. If you have not been here you need to try it, the food is great the portions are good and the price is reasonable. Plenty of parking and it's a unique place inside so enjoy!

There are local restaurants that draw clientele from their immediate surroundings and there are…read moremore widely known places that attract customers from a wide radius. I imagine all restaurant owners have one of those two options in mind at the start. So, when I saw that there are two Siam Rice restaurants in Santa Clarita, I thought these must be people who want to grow and expand. Now, since Siam II is closer to my house, I chose to try it first, of the two. I looked at the pictures, the menu, and the reviews here and thought it was a good choice for a standard Chinese meal, with a bit of a twist that they also apparently serve Thai dishes. We ordered just the Chinese dishes without meat. Siam Rice permits substituting tofu for any meat element in all of its dishes. They also let you choose mild, spicy, medium spicy, and hot spicy. Great idea. I was able to tell them to leave out any MSG from our meal, as I am allergic to it. They readily agreed. So far, so good. The service is quick and pleasant. Both people who attended our table were accomodating, if a bit subdued. We ordered quite an array of choices and the food came out quickly, piping hot, and well arranged so as to look appetizing. All of it was good, Cantonese style Chinese (we didn't choose a Thai option, apart from Thai Tea). It was tasty, especially the string beans with garlic and the vegetable Spring rolls. These dishes were also almost identical. We asked for a fried rice, a noodle, and a tofu with vegetable main dish. It appears that all the vegetables and seasonings for those three are the same and so, while satisfying and filling, they could not be distinguished from each other, apart from rice vs noodles. The Thai tea was strong and sweet, as is its nature. The place was clean, with clean floors, tables, and windows. All of this makes for a good, local place that I imagine draws a lunch crowd from Saugus and Railroad Avenue, and likely a local Friday and Saturday night clientele too. Since Railroad Avenue is not, say, Sunset, Wilshire or Santa Monica Boulevards, Siam II is unlikely to attract people much farther than eastern Santa Clarita and maybe don't have any ambition to do so. And that may be their intent, it is hard to know. If I were to make a recommendation to the owners: I think it is time to re-paint the entire restaurant. The ceiling tiles should be replaced. I would also add more Thai decor, as that is unusual and exotic and would make for a unique distinction that I am sure customers would find charming. I would also do something to the lower "vestibule" that serves as the entry (see my picture) to the upper dining floor. It looks like a place to stop in and get lottery tickets. It should be inviting, warm, attractive. New paint, more Thai and Chinese art, accessories, and artefacts, and perhaps some plants would go a long way to matching the ambiance to the food quality. There is convenient parking in front and back, and the prices are very reasonable.
