    BBQ pork Ribs 10/10

Tried this new place this week and let me tell you. We had it 2x this week for dinner! This place is such a GEM. Authentic. DELICIOUS. Great and friendly service. And did I already say DELICIOUS? Ordered the BBQ Pork Ribs. Juicy and Saucy..meat was well cooked. Fried chicken-- I took advantage of their promo and got it 1/5 off...and I wouldve paid full! Super Crispy but still very tasty and well seasoned. I got it for lunch and saved the rest for dinner...and it was still crunchy the 2nd time around. Roti Puff delicious---just get it. & make sure you have the sauce. Overall..so happy to find a new take out spot thats authentic and delicious. Cant wait to try the rest of their menu. **oh and I got a thai tea and they had the cutest cat shaped Iced thai tea in the drink. *the details*

This new location is just a take out/pick up location! There is no seating inside. The prices are $17+ for most main dishes. The Mom pad Thai was just okay, I would get the normal pad Thai next time personally. The service was friendly and there were no issues ordering or picking up the food. The panang curry was delicious and definitely worth getting again. I didn't like how it cost $4 for a (small) side of white rice, since the curry didn't come with rice. All in all, it's a decent spot if you are craving Thai food and want to pick some up. I am glad they have a location out here now!

This is a take out only spot (meaning no sit down/dine in available, fyi)! We walked in and were greeted with menus. We are familiar with the one in Canyon Country, so wanted to try this one out. Don't expect anything special, prices are quite steep for the portion sizes, and a small side portion of rice is almost $6 with tax... the Mom pad Thai was misleading and the noodles were not the same as the classic pad Thai, so don't be misled like I was! Again, it was hard to tell without the picture references, especially since there was nothing posted as of yet and they just opened. The panang curry was pretty good, but the bell peppers were so large/not chopped and hard to chew. Not sure if we'll come back, I wanted to like it so bad, but might have to try other dishes.

The service was incredible -- we were a large group of 10, and since there's limited seating inside the owners brought out tables to accommodate us. The food and Thai tea was delicious! Will definitely be back.

Always good food-we thought it was a sit down like the original location but it is to-go only-so that was a downside for us but if you know that ahead then you won't be disappointed. Definitely pricy but I suppose that's inflation for you! The yellow curry is excellent-just wish rice came with it. Orange chicken felt old and was frozen-not much chicken, more breading. The fresh summer spring rolls were great and the Thai tea is great

Really good. Service is fast we only live 5 min away and our food was ready right away. Hidden gem next to Starbucks.

Food was excellent and fresh. Ready quickly and service was great. They are only open for take out orders. I ordered the chicken pad Thai and it was delicious.

This place still rocks!…read more Nick and crew still throw down great food and its just as good as it was 15 years ago. If you have not been here you need to try it, the food is great the portions are good and the price is reasonable. Plenty of parking and it's a unique place inside so enjoy!

I imagine all restaurant owners have one of those two options in mind at the start. So, when I saw that there are two Siam Rice restaurants in Santa Clarita, I thought these must be people who want to grow and expand. Now, since Siam II is closer to my house, I chose to try it first, of the two. I looked at the pictures, the menu, and the reviews here and thought it was a good choice for a standard Chinese meal, with a bit of a twist that they also apparently serve Thai dishes. We ordered just the Chinese dishes without meat. Siam Rice permits substituting tofu for any meat element in all of its dishes. They also let you choose mild, spicy, medium spicy, and hot spicy. Great idea. I was able to tell them to leave out any MSG from our meal, as I am allergic to it. They readily agreed. So far, so good. The service is quick and pleasant. Both people who attended our table were accomodating, if a bit subdued. We ordered quite an array of choices and the food came out quickly, piping hot, and well arranged so as to look appetizing. All of it was good, Cantonese style Chinese (we didn't choose a Thai option, apart from Thai Tea). It was tasty, especially the string beans with garlic and the vegetable Spring rolls. These dishes were also almost identical. We asked for a fried rice, a noodle, and a tofu with vegetable main dish. It appears that all the vegetables and seasonings for those three are the same and so, while satisfying and filling, they could not be distinguished from each other, apart from rice vs noodles. The Thai tea was strong and sweet, as is its nature. The place was clean, with clean floors, tables, and windows. All of this makes for a good, local place that I imagine draws a lunch crowd from Saugus and Railroad Avenue, and likely a local Friday and Saturday night clientele too. Since Railroad Avenue is not, say, Sunset, Wilshire or Santa Monica Boulevards, Siam II is unlikely to attract people much farther than eastern Santa Clarita and maybe don't have any ambition to do so. And that may be their intent, it is hard to know. If I were to make a recommendation to the owners: I think it is time to re-paint the entire restaurant. The ceiling tiles should be replaced. I would also add more Thai decor, as that is unusual and exotic and would make for a unique distinction that I am sure customers would find charming. I would also do something to the lower "vestibule" that serves as the entry (see my picture) to the upper dining floor. It looks like a place to stop in and get lottery tickets. It should be inviting, warm, attractive. New paint, more Thai and Chinese art, accessories, and artefacts, and perhaps some plants would go a long way to matching the ambiance to the food quality. There is convenient parking in front and back, and the prices are very reasonable.
