Ines (the owner) is one of the nastiest people we've ever dealt with. We've only used this company…read moretwice. The first time was in December 2023 and Ines informed us the workers have very little ability to speak English (which we didn't mind). When they came to clean, the workers had to use their phones to translate, and since it was their first time cleaning our home, we had to instruct them what to clean, etc. and it took them longer because they had to constantly use their phones to translate everything we were saying. Ines told us we shouldn't ask her workers questions because it slowed them down. We informed Ines this is our hard-earned money we're spending and we have the right to ask questions ... and it's not our questions slowing them down, it's their inability to understand what we're saying! The workers only had one Swiffer cloth ... yes, ONE, and I asked her to please use another cloth after she dusted two rooms with the same cloth and she said they only use one per house (which is a lie). Although it wasn't the best experience, we tipped the workers handsomely and thought surely the next time would be better. In January 2024, Ines reached out to schedule us and two days before the cleaning, she informed us both workers had family issues (and they're not even related) and she'd have to send another team. I told Ines consistency is important to us because we didn't want to run into what happened last time with having to explain all over again what we want to be cleaned, etc... especially since Ines doesn't like customers to ask questions. I also asked Ines to make sure they had plenty of Swiffer cloths to dust with and that we would provide the cleaning solution to mop with because the PineSol they used was too strong. Ines said she would make sure they had plenty of Swiffer cloths (we have the text messages). The crew came and did not have one Swiffer cloth ... not ONE! They had dry rags and kept rinsing them out which means they were not dry dusting our furniture but using moisture from the once-dry cloths that were now damp because they were rinsing them out. Ines jumped on the defensive about lying and saying she would make sure they had plenty of Swiffer cloths when they had none! One of the workers took our dining room chair and put her dirty feet on it and stood up in it to clean the top of the buffet in the dining room. I couldn't believe what I was seeing! Then, they went to clean the kitchen and the male worker went out to their vehicle and brought in a ladder to clean the ceiling fans. Why didn't they use the ladder for the buffet? We gave them the benefit of the doubt and tipped them handsomely when they finished. Ines texted me today to see if they could come this week or next to clean. I told her we wouldn't be available until the end of March, and this time please make sure they have the Swiffer cloths they were supposed to have last time, and that we would still provide the cleaning solution to mop with. Ines sent me a hateful text that we were rude to her workers. I asked her what in the world was she talking about. I reminded her we tipped the workers handsomely both times. Then, Ines called me on the phone right after the texts today and accused us of having the workers re-do some of the work. I told her that was a lie, and if she had a problem with it why didn't she ask me about it, and why is she trying to schedule us for another cleaning if we were so rude? She told me I had no right asking her workers any questions, and I had to remind her this is OUR hard-earned money and this is OUR home and we can ask any questions we want. I told her she clearly had us mixed up with other customers and that she owed me an apology. She called me names and I told her she was a filthy liar and to NEVER come back to our home again! To us, Ines is the WORST!! I wouldn't use this cleaning company if it were the last cleaning company on earth!

I have used Home Shine Cleaning for about two years after purchasing a Groupon to try them out. I have a 1200 sqft 3 bedroom 1 bathroom duplex and they charge me just over $100. I am always impressed with what a great job they do and how sparkling the house looks when I come home. They are always easy to get scheduled even at the last minute, which is always for me! Recently I provided a list of some "extra" items I wanted done (cleaning out the inside of cabinets, underneath the kitchen sink, full wipe down of baseboards etc). The quoted price was very fair. When I arrived home I noticed a couple items weren't completed and reached out to the owner. She came over the next day to take care of it no questions asked. Turns out I wasn't super clear on what I asked for via text, but she made it right. She was so personal, friendly, and even gave me a bottle of stainless steel cleaner when I asked how they got my appliances so shiny and new looking. Great work and excellent customer service! Highly recommend.
