Charter Everything provided absolutely terrible service on my wedding day. On the way to my wedding the bus driver took our guests to the entirely wrong location causing the bus to show up to the correct location over 20 minutes late. Our own sets of parents were on the bus which meant our entire wedding started late because we could not start without them. This caused a cascade of things to not run on time (cocktail hour, the ceremony, dinner which meant less time on the dance floor having fun). Then, at the end of the night we could not find the driver and bus. We were finally able to contact him and said he was at the end of the block waiting for us. At no point before pick up time did he tell us that he would be at the end of the road or that he would not be picking us up directly in front of our venue which was in the contact. When we were finally able to get in contact with him we told him he had to come to the entrance because we had elderly people who could not walk over snow to get to the bus. Him not being at the front of the venue and not knowing where he was resulted in an over half hour delay in being picked up. This caused us to miss our entire after party since by the time we were able to get to the hotel bar where the after party was planned they had closed for the night. Then, after the wedding, when trying to find answers as to how both ways of transportation got messed up it took multiple emails to get a response from the company. When I was finally able to get a response they said they could refund me a measly $200 even though I spent almost $1,500 for terrible service. THEN, when I thought things couldn't really get any worse, it's been weeks, and I still have yet to receive the refund in my bank account. When spending thousands of dollars, I expect exceptional services, especially a day as important as your wedding day. An issue one way causing a change in schedule to our wedding day would have been bad enough, but issues both ways are completely and utterly unacceptable. I would not recommend this company to anyone who I looking for dependable and reliable service. read more

I honestly would rather have walked to my wedding than hire charter everything again. They are a fraudulent company, DO NOT BOOK THEM FOR YOUR WEDDING! We booked two charters from them and one of them just literally left after the church and didn't pick up an entire hotel worth of guests, AND THEY MISSED COCKTAIL HOUR! Jason Jimenez Dispatch Operations Manager is honestly terrible at his job. I sent him VERY SPECIFIC details of every stop, multiple times and they're refusing to refund us for the bus WHO DIDNT DO ITS ONLY TASK! I'm honestly still surprised they're an actual company. We had hired this company for our wedding day (my mistake, not my wifes). I feel like our directions were simple and easy enough. Drop off the wedding party and then go back for guests. They were late to arrive and after they dropped us off at the venue, they never went back to pick up the guests. Everyone wound up having to uber to our wedding which we felt terrible a about. Then at the end of the night they were suppose to make multiple trips for guest and only made 2 trips. Just bad service. Also, they gave us a bright orange bus that had and advertisement for "Cliff Bars". I wont be using their services again or eating cliff bars! read more

Charter Everything was late and did not pick up at the designated area. Nor did they contact us to let us know they moved their pickup location a block away. After asking the driver to help with luggage, he declined rudely with "it is not my job." While watching three very pregnant women pull suitcases off of the bus. Instead of assisting, Charter Everything found it appropriate to smoke cigarettes and throw them in the direction of the passengers. After speaking with Charter Everything, the situations were not resolved in a professional manner on behalf of Charter Everything. read more

In my experience, this is a booking agency, not a bus company. As a result, don't expect to receive any customer service once they have their money in hand. I left a set of keys on a bus belonging to a third party company, but booked through Charter Every Thing (sic). I know with 100% certainty that they were left in the left rear overhead bin, opposite the restroom. However, upon contacting this booking agency, they have refused to provide me with the phone number or the address of the yard at which the bus resides. When first I contacted the company about this issue, they put me on hold for all of about 15-30 seconds while they "went to check the bus". Clearly, they checked nothing in that amount of time, and every time I've called back, they've taken similarly untrustworthy approaches. Here's the point - as a booking agency only, they have no incentive to spend their time to help you once the sale is completed. I recognize this, and it is for this reason that I want to do the legwork of contacting the bus yard myself. I'm even willing to go there in person. But they won't provide me with the address nor the phone number in order to enable this approach. They're just keeping me in the dark, and therefore nothing gets accomplished. What incentive does anyone have to steal a set of keys, especially when the car and buildings they operate are located several states away? It makes no sense that they wouldn't have been found. This is why I'm willing to do all the legwork to find them myself, but Charter Every Thing (sic) is willfully preventing me from accomplishing this. They are providing easy, quick lip service, rather than customer service. I'll happily update this review if something changes, but until that time, book directly with a reputable bus company, not with this shady, deceitful clearing house. read more

I needed a mini bus to take me and my bunch of friends from our home for a fun night out in Manhattan. We were celebrating our friend's bachelor's party and the quality of the service was of the greatest importance to me. I am so glad I picked Charter every thing. As promised, everything went smoothly from making my reservation to the driver arriving on time for our pick-up. We were not sure when or where our night would end; but when we decided to leave each location it took just a phone call and our driver was right where we needed him. I'm a meeting planner and book transportation all over. DO NOT BOOK THIS COMPANY!!! In all my years of business I have never experienced what I did with this company. The groups coordinator Kaitlin is a complete moron. Doesn't understand the business and has to put you on hold every 5 minutes to ask her supervisor. Company locked me into a vehicle when I was still working out the details. Bus showed up over 30 minutes late. The drivers were not familiar with the area. The drivers are dressed soooo unprofessional, in sweats etc. One driver showed up to the pickup location and than said he had no idea where he was supposed to go after. I wish 0 stars was an option. Charter on October 10, 2014. 1. 2 of the 4 buses that were chartered were late. It wasn't a big deal at the time, because we were able to load the other buses. It became a bigger deal when concern #3 came up. 2. When I checked in with one of the late drivers, I asked him if was from Charter Every Thing and he said: No that he was from Omega. He did end up being one of our drivers. It was troubling that the driver seemed uniformed about what company had hired him. 3. As the chaperon, I was the last person to get off the last bus. Just as I got off the bus, the conversation below took place between myself and one of the drivers, who was standing outside. Driver: We are leaving at 11pm Me: Yes, I know the show is supposed to end by 10:45, but if it gets out early or runs a little late I will give you a call. Driver: No, we are leaving at 11 no matter who is not on the bus. Me: I have informed the students that they are to report to the bus immediately after the show, so I don't expect us to be late. But if something happens, can you speak with the company and have them charge us? I can be charged, but I just can't leave 200 students here. Driver: No, we have a job in the morning. It's a busy weekend, we must leave at 11pm. Me: I need to get my students back to our campus, can you please work with me? Driver: We are leaving at 11 At that point I walked away. The driver chose to make his "stance" after all the students had unloaded and I didn't have an opportunity to communicate with them. I figured I would work it out with someone from dispatch. After I got into the venue I left two messages for dispatch and got a return phone call. Instead of getting what I hoped to be some sort of assurance that we wouldn't be left abandoned. I was informed that the timeliness was due to federal regulations, and the abruptness of the driver was also due to those regulations. No sense of apology or regret was communicated. While I do not doubt the validity of the regulations, I have NEVER been threatened to be left anywhere. In my position I plan bus trips for students 2-3 times per month, and I have never been informed about the federal regulations. I can only assume, that the other companies I have worked with, plan out their trips differently, to accommodate the law, while at the same time providing better customer service. In the end I was granted a 10 minute grace period, which is all we needed. We had another event contract with the same company on October 25. I held off on going to Yelp until after that event. But the trouble continued. Charter on October 25 As per our contract, the buses were scheduled to arrive at 9:45am and the bus was to leave for Dorney Park at 10am. By 9:50am we had checked in all of the students who purchased a ticket for the trip, but neither of the buses had arrived. Around 9:55 I called the bus drivers on the contact phone numbers that we were given. The drivers did not answer their phones initially. I called the Charter Every Thing dispatcher to find out where our buses were now that it was past 10am, the time we were scheduled to depart from Seton Hall University. The dispatcher said that she would contact the bus drivers and get back to me. A few minutes later I received a call from one driver and he stated that he was not our bus driver, even though we were given his contact information the night before from Charter Every Thing. I called the other driver back, this time he answered, and said that he was having trouble entering the campus, so I gave him directions towards our main entrance on South Orange Avenue. Within a few minutes I heard from the dispatcher and she notified me that both buses were on campus. This was not true because one of the drivers had not arrived yet, and the second bus also was not on our campus. Seton Hall University is not that large, and on the weekends the main entrance is the only entrance that vehicles can access, so the buses would have passed us if they were on campus. When the driver parked, I asked him if he knew how far away the second bus was and he said that the second bus was 15 minutes away. Therefore, we received in accurate information from the dispatcher. I called the Charter Every Thing dispatcher back to let her know that we received incorrect information, but she was apathetic regarding the situation. We ended up leaving campus at 10:45am, almost an hour after our scheduled time to leave. read more

Rented a bus for January. Heat didn't work. When passengers complained about being cold, driver turned off front blower, causing windshield to fog up, obscuring visibility. Turns out the reason the heat wasn't working was the coolant had leaked out of the engine. Engine was overheating while we were freezing--solution was temporarily remedied by pouring water into radiator while the bus occupants were told we were 'refueling'. Judging by the looks of it, this has been an ongoing issue with this bus. Driver seemed unable/unwilling to communicate with us. I'm a mechanic. If you run straight water (no antifreeze) in your radiator all winter, the water will freeze and the block will crack (if it hasn't already). Then you get water in your oil, and water is not a good lubricant. At some point, this engine will seize up and strand whoever is on it. We were NJ to DC and back. Glad it wasn't us--hope it isn't somebody else. Oh yeah, the bus was an hour late to pick us up. Consider yourself warned. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Charter Everything has not communicated with me at all. I thought maybe I missed an email because I had not been told anything about my upcoming charter. I had to call Charter Everything to confirm my bus only to be told I would be charged a convenience fee, a 4% credit card fee, AND a late fee. It is absolutely absurd to charge a credit card fee when bus rentals cost thousands of dollars. The idea that I would have to pay a late because of the charter company's lateness is absolutely ridiculous. I am completely convinced that Charter Everything does not want to provide costumer service or even be decent to their costumers. I am almost certain the purpose of Charter Everything is to overcharge costumers and make money off of hidden fees. All of this may be almost tolerable if the buses and drivers were great but, that is not the case. At best this company is a scam. I am confident that using public transportation to get wherever you are going will be far more satisfactory than using this terrible company. read more

I booked a bus from Charter Everything for my Son's Graduation/Birthday Party on Friday 6/22/18. Charter Everything transported all 49 of my guest from NJ to my venue in Little Neck Queens. My experience from the beginning to end was Superb. When I went to their office to put the deposit on the bus I met Jason the dispatcher. He was very professional and personable and answered all my questions and assured me that everything would go as planned the day of my venue. He also told me that he would be available all day on the day of my party if I had any concerns. He even called me that day to make sure everything was going well. The bus driver Roberto was extremely Nice, Courteous, Friendly & Professional, but most of all a safe driver. My family told me at the end of the night that the Bus was a hit because they all enjoyed themselves and had lots of laughs on the bus and no one had to worry about driving back to NJ at the end of the night. I hope that Charter Everything gives Jason and Roberto some recognition for a job well done. I would recommend Charter Everything to my friends and family and will be calling upon them in the future. We had a great experience with the company. We used one of their buses for our daughter's first communion. Everyone was very professional and extremely nice. Someone from their office called us two days before to go over the details. I think that is important, this way we didn't have to worry whether they would show up or not, unlike some other companies where the client has to call to make sure all the information they have is correct. The bus was very clean, comfortable and the ride very smooth. I will definitely use them in the future and recommend the company to my friends. read more

Charter Every Thing, Inc. initially seemed to be a great company to work with. The person I spoke with seemed very professional, and my quote and booking were handled quickly and easily. However the day of my event was an entirely different story. I hired Charter Every Thing, Inc. for my wedding. The driver was hired to make 2 trips from our hotel to the wedding venue, then two trips back to the hotel at the end of the night. The driver showed up, did not speak a word of English, and REFUSED to make two trips. Instead our guests had to squeeze onto the bus for the one and only trip. I was told the driver got lost on the way to our venue, and guests arrived late to cocktail hour. The way home was no different. All guests and members of the wedding party were squeezed onto the bus. Even the aisles were packed with people standing due to the fact he refused a second trip that was in our contract and paid for. What should have been a 10 minute trip turned into 50 minutes on the bus because the driver got lost AGAIN. It was a horrible way to end the night after the wedding itself had gone so smoothly. My guests continue to talk about what a nightmare the bus ride home was. I would not hire this company for any event. read more

The bus was super clean and new and they offered the best price out of the 4 places I called. Most of all, though was their flexibility. i had to change bus size at the last minute and they bent over backwards trying to solve my last minute problems. Thank you Charter Every Thing! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! we had two busses arrive an HOUR late with no apology. The drivers did not speak English which makes communication impossible. After arriving an hour late they pulled into the first rest stop because one bus needed gas and one was overheating. There was a mechanic on that bus who said that the bus should not have been on the road. It was obvious that the problems with the radiator, etc had existed for some time and been ignored. The bus itself was Filthy and the bathroom had no toilet paper, paper towels, etc. On the way back from our event, which we were an hour late to, the drivers got lost and Passengers on each bus called 911 because the drivers were driving dangerously and endangering our lives and refusing to speak to us. They drove the wrong way on a highway ramp and reversed all the way backwards down the ramp, in the dark. At one point our bus nearly tipped over onto its side because the driver was making k-turns on uneven ground where no vehicles were supposed to be. The police had to come to escort them to the highway entrance. Once we finally got on the road the driver pulled into a rest stop, despite our objections, and proceeded to smoke cigarettes while we waited on the bus. Throughout the 9+ hours on the bus he shouted into his phone with no consideration. The manager on the phone argued with me about the bus being late and then implied that the bus didn't break down so I should calm down. He accused me of lying, all while I was describing to him how we were in fear for our lives! DO not do business with this company. read more

This is a zero star review. Stay away from Charter Everything, and every other company they run with the same number, but with different names (NYC Charter Bus etc). They subcontract to other drivers who are not professional at all - poor interaction with passengers, and worrisome driving and anger control on the streets. Subpar buses/subpar air conditioning. Of course the company will say that might have been one bad experience, but that's not the case - it's a frequent experience, they won't acknowledge it, and they should be shut down for false advertising. read more

I am a Limo business owner and I chartered a 56 passenger bus for my client. I sent an email to change the pickup time on Sunday for a Monday pickup 3:00pm to 2:30pm then also called the morning of, to confirm. It took a few hours for the rep to get back to me with confirmation. I asked for the drivers name and cell because I wanted to have the driver avoid a specific turn to make it easier for him and explained in detail where he needed to turn into this corporate site. When I spoke with him he was unaware of the time change an hour before the pickup. He was 10 minutes late and still made the wrong turn costing another 5 minutes. It was a white bus with no markings on it but the bus was dirty and sitting outside for a few days and rained on. There was black scratch or mark on the luggage door. The driver assisted me with a few coolers but did not assist with any of the luggage for the 56 passengers we had. He sat in his drivers seat and let them load luggage.The heating and AC system did not work properly and the ABS system was faulty. This I later learned from my client, who was on the bus. I called to complain and spoke to Al, who basically just defended his company and justified everything. Al then told me the driver was an owner. If that's true, this owners idea of quality service is severely lacking. Not what I expected at all for the price. The website tells a very different story then what I experienced. If you are looking for good customer service and reasonable policies, KEEP LOOKING. Charter Everything's "Cancellation Policy", which you have to sign while making your reservation, states that "There is no charge for the first contract change. The 2nd change in your contract will result in (sic) $75 fee. Any additional changes will result in a $150 fee per change in contract." Presumably this includes changes to the pick-up and departing schedule, even if those changes are within the overall time booked (e.g., pick-up changed from 4:00 p.m. to 4:05 p.m.). Also, you cannot complete your reservation without including a 10% gratuity for the driver. (Upon first reading this, you may think there's nothing abnormal about that, but after reading the entire "Cancellation Policy" and provisions in their "Alcohol/Smoking and Food Policy", including the drivers' right to subjectively determine whether or not you should be charged additional for cleaning the bus, you will understand that the gratuity policy is actually another hidden fee.) Moreover, reservations are not confirmed until the company receives your deposit; therefore, it is first-come-first-serve like many companies. So in order to ensure that you reserve your bus, which inevitably is described as the "only one left for that date," you need to pay your deposit with a credit card for which the company will charge you a 5% fee. Finally, when you call to question any of these reasonable concerns, you are told by the Customer Service Manager that he has "been in the industry for over 20 years, serving Fortune 500 corporations and better" (insert condescending/arrogant chuckle) and that this is how they work. If you're lucky, he will waive the 5% fee for the credit card deposit (which we all can agree is like having a restaurant waive a fee for using their salt and pepper shakers), but he will not waive the 10% required gratuity. So to wrap things up, Charter Everything Inc may provide you with a competitive quote but they will gouge you through unreasonable policies and will refuse to work with you no matter how tight your budget is. Clearly, Charter Everything Inc has enough corporate business that they do not need your individual business. KEEP LOOKING, because there are plenty of other companies that are much more reasonable and willing to work with you. read more
