The first trip was supposed to be 'luxury' but they downgraded us to a regular cramped coach less than an hour before departure with no refund. Hot, cramped, left late, unresponsive customer service, etc. If you have taken buses before you know the drill, but usually it's half the price. Tl;Dr Save your money, this is just the same crappy bus experience you can get for half the price elsewhere.

Signage isn't clear so be mindful trying to find it. It's NOT a building you're looking for. Look for the very small, green FLIXBUS sign. DOUBLE CHECK THE APP FOR THE BUS ARRIVAL. The bus number in the app and the bus showing up may NOT be the same! $150 for a family of four who had to scramble to get from NYC to Philadelphia after an Amtrak emergency canceled the trains all day. It's an alternative option compared to flying and it's not the fanciest, but gets the job done. Traveling on a budget you can't have it all so don't expect this to be perfect and relaxing. It was hectic trying to understand if it was the right bus to begin with. Also be prepared to load and unload your own luggage. So we're glad to make it here to enjoy the rest of our East Coast vacation.

The things I noticed/encountered: -The seats were a little smaller, but fairly comfy. -There were seat belts available -Depending on the seat, outlets were in the bottom/front of the 2 seats or side of the window seats. -There were large, panoramic tinted windows, which made the ride better. -Large garbage bags were placed throughout the bus, which helped keep the bus cleaner (assuming people used them). -The bathroom was small, but decent and clean...at least at the start of the ride. -There were foot rests, but they weren't very useful. I took the 5:30 pm bus on a Wednesday, so it wasn't as packed as a weekend bus may have been. The driver was friendly, check-in process was seamless...we just gave our names. I didn't have any large luggage, so I didn't have to use that extra compartment on the outside/bottom of the bus, but it was available for self-loading/unloading. There was additional storage available above the seats (similar to an airplane) and below the front seats. Even though there was traffic and heavy rain, we made it to our stop (stop #2 out of 3) in perfect time. There are multiple signs for Go Bus, luckily the bus driver walked over to us and let us know that the bus is actually stopped 2 signs ahead. Would I take this bus again? Yea, absolutely.

The bus driver was some old guy who was clearly senile, he was extremely rude as well, and he should lose his CDL. He didn't stop the bus. You get what you pay for. This was a scam. Don't do it unless you REALLY need to save money, just take a train for a bit more. If you want to get on some bus with false advertisement and a senile old guy bus driver and get totally scammed, go on ahead! :)

He scanned our ticket and we boarded. The bus was pretty full, so we ended up sitting separately. The above head storage bins are kind of tight, so I had to take something out of my over stuffed backpack to manage to wiggle it in. While my purse sat on my lap. I liked the foot rest and the hook on the handle on the seat in front of me. Trash bags were hung here and there. Looks like they also provided small bottles of water for us, though we had to grab those ourselves. The electric plugs didn't seem to work, but perhaps the ubs plugs in the ceiling did. Our driver was a great communicator. He set expectations so we knew that we had a 20 min rest stop before arriving at Baltimore, and pointed out things to help us to pay attention and to get back to the right bus. He warned us that given current construction that we were sure to arrive later than what our tickets said, and gave us his best eta given the circumstances. Another passenger later commented that the bus bathroom was clean. We kind of ended up being dropped off on a brightly painted bridge in the middle of no where - perhaps on Maryland Ave?, by a bus stop. A short walk from Penn Station.

At this point, the business has not made a good-faith effort to work with us, so we have closed the case as Unresolved in their file." Greyhound failed to do the right thing. Plain and simple. In early July, they stranded their customers in Pasco, Washington due to poor maintenance and negligence, then refused to refund them. This is a company that does not care about its customers and has no sense of ethics. They caused emotional distress to an 8-month-pregnant woman during this incident.
