Principal is unreasonable and took statements geared towards open discussion and escalated them instead of putting me at ease. Principal was not open to helping and was condescending. When looking at the parent's statement below who engaged an attorney to speak to the Principal, I am not not surprised and saddened I sent my child to this school after making such a financial sacrifice to do so. The school promises low class sizes but this is untrue. Lower grades can have as many as 26 children- making this comparable, or even more in numbers, to public school. As a Christian, I am grateful I won't be sending my child here again and that the truth of how the school operates was fully exposed to me. I would not recommend this school.

Our daughter learned so much from the Mrs. Carlton's class. She allows as much parent involvement as parents wanted to be involved. There were obviously exceptions to the norm, but I was not at all prepared for college. The facilities are very good. I was the last class to graduate from the 'old' high school, and I really wish I could have had at least one year in the 'new' one. The class selection is not very good. Even Webberville has a better selection of classes, and the superintendent who is currently running the schools sounds like an incompetent idiot.

We are school of choice and they provide bus transportation for my Child, we just have to meet down the rd at an alternative bus stop, which is 2 minutes down the road instead of having to drive the 15 minutes in. I asked if they offer any financial aid for the 15k tuition and the Business Director Denise literally scoffed and snorted as if she was personally offended "Financial Aid?!? Financial Aid?? Our parents don't need Financial Aid!" She said this in the midst incredulous tone as if I'd personally offended her. She was so nasty that I cancelled my tour right away. I wouldn't send my child here with the risk of being ostracized or treated differently because I simply inquired about Financial Aid. If a school doesn't offer tuition assistance, fine but at least pretend that your school philosophy isn't to look down on those who ask.

St Mary's alumni are well represented at elite universities, as Olympic athletes, and in top ranked college athletics programs. The class size is fairly modest, allowing for good attention to individual students. Students' achievements are nonetheless strongly based on the effort they put into obtaining their education. This is not a prep school where you get your "ticket punched" merely by showing up.
