Here, I never felt like as a woman I was somehow a second class human (as it can often feel in the world), but someone with ideas and potential and dignity. Academically, I was constantly being challenged and told to take charge of my work. Now at one of the top universities in America, I know that I am just as prepared (sometimes even more so) as my classmates. Spiritually, there's nothing better than having the sacraments (especially the Eucharist!) available to you everyday. Even though it might sound cliche, the sisterhood is real, and I know that they still have my back on our journey to Heaven. Addressing the complaints about certain faculty and staff, I did have some problems there, as you would in any school, but they didn't last for long since those individuals no longer work there. And, yes, it has its difficulties as a new, small school, but it has been able to work through those only with the grace of God. Saint Catherine's cares about you as a person and every single life that you will touch. No school is perfect, but this is as close as it gets.

We have been so thankful for the amount of love Eleanor gets from the Novi KinderCare team - you really feel like a VIP family here because they always send photos and updates through the app and welcome us with so many fun updates and lively chats when we pick up or drop off Eleanor. Ms. Pam and Ms. Denise love Eleanor like she is their own granddaughter. They are truly so attentive and notice any changes and growth milestones and figure out the perfect ways to engage Eleanor differently in her fun and learning activities each day! Additionally, they always keep parents updated on the curriculum and activities like bringing in the Kona Ice Truck for treats during a recent week of hot weather or making art boats with the babies leading up to the Fourth of July holiday. And they are so amazing about changing schedules even if it is short notice. And, the team is so caring and attentive and supportive even at the end of a long day - we have picked up Eleanor when she was the second to last to be picked up but she was all smiles because they gave her extra attention and care. We said our tearful goodbyes to 'A Growing Place' few months ago. The staff here are just wonderful. The Director & the teachers are so full of affection and warmth. Thank you for all the love and support you showered on my baby with while he was with you. When my son got enrolled to this preschool he began to learn so effortlessly. He's reading, writing, counting, telling stories and has an amazing knowledge of cultures, holidays, etc (due to the many theme weeks they have). Other touches and memories are the shows that the children put on every year (the teachers teach them songs, dance and even make them costumes). They take such trouble with fun art projects, Mothers/Father's Day cards/gifts/surprises and also on various occasions like Thanksgiving, Xmas, etc which are all hand made by the teachers and the children.
