That response felt defensive and dismissive, especially since I was simply trying to understand what I'd be paying for before spending $150 on a consultation. When I suggested a short phone call might help future clients get a clearer idea of the program, I was told, "Thank you for your input on how we should run our business." I was respectful and serious about getting help for my dog, but the overall tone came across as unprofessional and condescending. Clear communication and transparency should come standard with any service -- especially one this costly and important.

They now demand a $200 up front payment before granting an appointment for anything. That is not bad enough but they charge outrageous prices for Health Certificates having more than doubled the price from last year. This will result in driving small sheep and goat farms out of business as it is hard to charge a buyer $200 for a Health Certificate when the purchases sheep or goat only cost $400- $500. Add to this the rude receptionists attitude. Perhaps the practice has been bought out by one of the corporate groups acquiring individual places and driving up the prices. Be sure to ask for an estimate before asking for services.
