Cute little place! Got goodies for my dogs & loved that they gave me a list of places in Burlington that were dog friendly.

Zero stars. Behind their building is disgusting. I spent 30 minutes cleaning up trash in order to…read morebe threatened by an employee that "she is calling the cops dumpster diving is illegal" which A is false in and of itself and B.... I had come there for empty cat litter bags for compost which one employee would leave aside for me, they weren't there but I felt like trash needed some attention. In the future, kindness would be more appropriate. I never take anything from the trash that was not left aside for me (prior) and clearly you do not feel like cleaning up your own mess so, thank you is a more appropriate response than ridiculous threats. (which aren't even true) I have spoken to PD back there and they do not bother with someone picking up trash, and occasionally feeding homeless who are living back there. I hope people read this and clean that store out of incredibly rude employees--- I had a prior conversation where I asked to re-use actual trash--- and the staff would take one litter bag and stuff all of the other bags inside of one and leave it behind the dumpster. (Who's name I will not be mentioning because if the staff are going to speak to me that badly... I'm sure they will also mistreat fellow employees who didn't see anything wrong with why I was there) Someone had dumped a trash bag full of rained on clothing all over the ground. I picked up the mess. Piece by piece, instead of thank you, I got yelled and threatened. I'm so tired... this is my second review like this, where I did the right thing and was yelled at for it at a different business as well. Maybe you should have your staff, pick up the alley yourselves.... and also tell them to interact with unexpected people with kindness... not rudeness and cruelty. (If I were actually unhoused and an angry, local homeowner, I might have cried after she spoke to me that way) If there are rules about trash, then there need to be rules that the staff clean up the messes in the alley as well--- instead, I will make sure to post photos everytime I drive by there and see a mess they told me not to touch and threatened me if I went near. I wonder if the landlord will start to fine them.---- I spend thousands of dollars a month in that Plaza. I'm sure there will be plenty of times I will need to pass by.

I cannot begin to thank Mary Ann? enough for the time she spent with me trying to figure out what…read moreto feed my very picky and tiny Yorkie pup. He LOVES one of the small-batch organic kibble samples she suggested, and I just ordered our first 5 lb bag online. PFW also has an impressive selection of high-quality toys, collars, and leashes, and they are now my go-to source for my puppy's needs. Terrific selection, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. Can't beat it.

I used to come here often before my cat required prescription food, although I'm starting to come…read morehere again. Pros: they carry high quality food and do run specials which they notify you of via post. They also have frequent buyer programs that are specific to the brand. The staff is friendly, although sometimes overbearing (I feel like I'm being constantly watched when I'm here) and for a small store it's usually got 4-6 people working so there's someone around to help you if you need it. They also have a toy selection which is better for dogs than for cats--but that is typical Cons: They carry a limited number of brands, especially of the natural food. I'm trying to switch my cat over to grain free canned food until I have time to deal with making her food. (yes, she is SPOILED! But she also has dietary restrictions which make it hard). They don't carry some brands that my cat really seems to enjoy such as Solid Gold, so I end up going to Petco. They also dont' have a very large selection of litter, and what they do carry seems to be overpriced, though I've only compared prices to the litter I currently buy. Their frequent buyer programs also seem to have a rather high number for canned foods so I haven't seen any benefit for that. The prices I pay are just slightly higher than other pet stores around for similar quality food (though different brands). Things are also packed in there, and the store is a little claustrophobic. It's a solid pet store. It's not nearly as big as other chain pet stores, but you'll probably find what you need.
