Still haven't been giving a definitive answer to if my deposit has been found. After spending 2 hours on the phone since this branch was unwilling/ "unable" to assist. I was given provisional credit. Yet was told if my statement ends before the dispute is closed and resolved I would owe any fees. That is just wild to me. Again, I'm very upset with the lack of effort done by any employee at this location. I will not be visiting here again and have already closed one of my accounts. Barbie has a Chase account and they're really nice. We appreciate them and they've helped us a lot financially over the last few years. I asked if I could just see a teller and she said the teller is for drive through only. Then one of her friends came in and just walked up to the teller and did his thing . This place is a joke! Walked in to open a bank account, I was told no tellers were available?? They suggested another location which has availability, then asked me to check with them with their availability. They were sure they had availability but were not sure at the same time. Still made a reservation for the next day but I was warned that I could still wait up to an hour??? I have never dealt with a business so confused. Long story short, I never showed up. read more

I've been a Chase customer for many of years and have never been more disappointed. I went to this location because I received a check in the mail for a job I did, and after looking at the check, I was worried the check was a scam. I looked around online and everything pointed to this check potentially being a fraud. I decided to go to this location to speak with someone about the check. I was greeted by a woman who asked me what I needed help with. I explained to her my situation, she looked at the check and told me that the check looked legit and she had no concerns. I asked her what would happen if it was, she explained to me that they would just take the funds from my account. She suggested I deposited it and that there was nothing really to worry about because the watermarks and everything "were legit".... So I deposited the check at the location and left. After leaving the bank, I had a really weird feeling and a pit in my stomach, so I called the 1-800 number and explained my concerns. I was met by a very nice lady who assured me everything looked good on their end and it "had already been processed" or "had already been cleared" I don't remember the exact words. Turns out the check WAS a fraud, and they took the funds out of my account (that's fine, I was prepared) but i was also met with a fee for a returned check. WHICH IS SOMETHING NONE OF THE THREE PEOPLE I SPOKE TO MENTIONED. Will be looking into getting a different bank. Hopefully, a bank that educates their staff. read more

This review is not of this branch at The Domain but rather of JP Morgan Chase Bank as an institution. Have to post it somewhere so here it is My wife and I first opened an account with this institution 5 years ago as we were moving from CT to Texas and our previous brick and mortar bank was regional without any branches here in the south. We did have accounts with Ally Bank for several years and have not had any issues with them but we figured since we needed to get a safety deposit box might as well open an account with local brick and mortar Bank. I am today closing all my accounts with Chase and will cut all other ties, including a credit card, in the very near future with them. My dissatisfaction is with the bank being very far behind with banking as it is practiced today. They are sitting on railroad tracks, seeing a train approaching rapidly but just paralyzed and unable or unwilling to get out of the way. Will provide just two recent examples of non existent service: = This year we set up a revocable family trust. That meant retitling our accounts in the name of the Trust which is not a huge deal since the Tax ID numbers remain the same, the trustees and grantors are the same two people as the joint account holders. I go to the Ally Bank website and it takes me no more than three minutes to initiate changing the titling to the Trust bank. Any required document such as the trust document is easily uploaded. I immediately get a security phone call to confirm I initiated the change and within 48 hrs. I receive confirmation it is all done. No fuss, no muss. Next I go to Chase bank and it does not let me make any change. Now we both have to get an appointment at the Domain Branch, go in masks and all, sit down with the manager and are patiently informed there is no way to move forward without opening a new account. What? Now it means I have to worry about all those who get paid directly from the account (like life insurance companies) and notify everyone of the change in account numbers. The opening of an account is also archaic with paperwork, intrusive questions such as what our net worth is. Found out "it is none of the banks business" cannot be keyed in by the manager". Does anybody ever give an accurate figure? = It took a few weeks for my feelings of disgust and general irritation to settle down. Then came electronic requests from the bank warning us that a CD was maturing in 2 weeks. Easy enough I think to myself. Will go online and have the proceeds be transferred to one of my accounts. Nope? No option to do that. Why is that? - if I can open an account on line, transfer funds to open a CD account all online, why can't I just provide instructions to have the funds from a maturing CD rollover into my checking account? Thought I found an easy workaround- sent of a message within the website to customer service making the request. Nope- they indicate they are unable to do this. Now I am getting irritable, rapidly having encountered such obstacles only recently. The website has a message waiting for me indicating our CD was expiring and my choices are to do nothing in which case it would automatically roll over into a new CD. Any other option would require a phone call. Grrr. I grind my teeth and pick up the phone. After going thru the automatic phone tree unsuccessfully twice as it refused to recognize our Tax ID number, I get fed up and hit 0. On comes this pleasant lady, who after being convinced I am who I say I am, asks how she can help. Simple request I say, I need my CD maturing shortly to have the funds rollover into our checking account. She indicates she sees it is maturing in 5 days and she can close it early and transfer the funds. I say, no I do not want it closed early I want it to be transferred in 5 days when it does mature. "We cannot do that, sir. You have to call us after it matures. Really!! The bank is bombarding me with warnings but the number I am asked to call is just to be told to call after 5 days? No point in screaming at this person at the bottom of the pecking order. I ask for a supervisor and she complies but not without a gleeful "Just know he has the same authority". Now Gilbert comes on and essentially it is the same mantra of (reading between the lines) "we cannot help you unless if you are doing something where the bank profits" He corrected my explanation about the repeated warnings I was getting from from the bank to "those are advisories, sir" I did finally reach my boiling point. Why do I bother with these stone age institutions? Did I not learn with previous experiences that online disruptors are changing the financial world. Ally bank, Webull, Robinhood, Better Mortgage, Lemonade had all proved reliable, efficient and never requiring me to be in the position of groveling before another human being. Needless to say Chase bank I am out of here. Was not so nice knowing you. Anyone reading this read up on Cathy Wood and why she believes these banks are dying. read more

We needed to open an account for our daughter. We arrived at this location 30 minutes prior to close, and was told that opening an account takes 45 minutes. My family of four and one other person were the only customers in the building at the time. I couldn't believe that a bank isn't more efficient at this process! I have opened many accounts at Chase and others in my lifetime and do not recall it ever taking that long! read more

Probably the worst branch I've ever been to. The first experience I went thirty minutes before closing to open a new checking account. The client services specialist said they couldn't take me at the moment because it takes 40 minutes to open an account and they were closing. He asked if I could schedule a time to go in and I said well it's hard because of work. I ended up opening at another branch. The process took 20 minutes and that was with the banker talking to me about living in Waco. The second experience I had was looking at opening a business account. There was one banker available and she was on the phone the 30 minutes I spent waiting. I ended up leaving. I wouldn't suggest this location, there just seems to be something off with the availability of the bankers. On the plus side the tellers are very friendly. read more

Trisha Serrano at this branch is a phenomenal employee. I had been to 3 branches before coming to this one struggling with a serious claim. Nobody at the other branches could quite wrap their mind around it. After talking with Ms. Serrano several times she took care of the issue efficiently, diligently, and with determination to help me out. I know she worked tenaciously to get this solved for me while it proved to be difficult she did not give up until it was settled fairly. She was professional and kind during all our meetings. She truly deserves a bonus, day at the spa, extra PTO off for extremely extra wonderful customer service. I gave her a hug at the end of the whole debacle and told her she restored my faith that there are good people out there. She is outstanding at her determination to make things right when I was completely overwhelmed with the energy it took to get this settled fairly. If she is still with Chase at the Domain please recognize her going above and beyond to make sure I was safe. Kudos to Trisha Serrano for her integrity, respect, and care for customers of Chase. Customer service is always decent, considering the fact that the lone teller during lunch rush is completely over-worked. Can the management team not hire another teller to cover lunch breaks? I frequently go to a branch that is farther away from my office because it takes less time, except when another task brings me to this location, such as today. read more

Terrible. Been to the bank 3 times now, and every time is not good at all. Not welcoming, literally standing around and talking to each other about non work related topics. Like what their plans are this weekend.. we signed in and waiting for 10 minutes. Finally someone came up to us and asked what we needed. I had all my documents to open a business account and credit card. The associate told me no one was available today.. it was 2pm. What is the point of a bank? No wonder why the online banks are taking over. Because the only reason why everyone isn't switching over is because chase has actual branch. What is the use of the branch if no one can help you and they make you feel like you are inconveniencing them to help me open an account. Taking my business elsewhere and going to close all my accounts and credit cards with chase. Good luck running your branches this way. Wouldn't ever recommend going to this branch. The original 2 reviews were once correct. Unfortunatly this is no longer true. The bank has recently undergone quite an unwelcoming interior re-design. With that has also come an uncomfortable and akward since of hypervigilance when interacting with bank employees. I have been doing business at this location for a year or more and the change is very noticable. My last experience is as follows: I was going to the bank to do usual busines (withdraw and make change). As soon as I walked in the lobby I was greeted by three employees at the exact same time. Odd, but okay. Then I walked up to the counter where another customer was already speaking to the teller. I stood behind him patiently waiting my turn, when an employee who was clearly on her way out, did a 180, approached me and overly cheerfully asked how she could help. I explained why I was there, and she asked to see my bank card and directed me to an ATM. I didn't really want to use the ATM, but I was in a hurry so I thought "ok." Then as I'm entering in my pin, she is hovering around me (within a few inches, really) and explaining how to use the ATM. As if a grown man in 2014 needs help with an ATM, and she did not leave my side until my transaction was done. Anyway, I could go on but let me just close by saying, don't be surprised if you are treated like suspect in the Domain branch. read more
