I ask for the manager and she said she's on vacation and she deserves a day off. I then asked if there's a backup manager and she said no. What a very unprofessional place and the policy with PNC of waiting 2 weeks 10 business days to weeks when I put in a cash deposit that's ridiculous it should be a much quicker turnaround. Once I get my money I'm closing my account and I hope I get my money and opening an account with another bank very disappointed in PNC!

From day one, it's been clear their systems can't handle large payment amounts. For over a year, we were forced to split monthly payments because their platform couldn't process a single payment over a certain limit. Annoying, risky, and completely unnecessary for a lender offering loans of this size. The real disaster came after an escrow adjustment. Our autopay was set to "pay in full," but they never updated the amount. They kept drafting the old payment, marked every transaction as "succeeded," and never once alerted us that funds weren't being applied correctly. Instead, they quietly shuffled money across months internally, creating a cascading shortfall we had no way of seeing or fixing. We only found out after damage was already done. They refunded fees (which is basically admitting it was their administrative failure), but then refused to fix the credit reporting. So now we're dealing with credit impact caused entirely by their broken systems and poor servicing. Emails get boilerplate replies. Phone calls go unanswered. No accountability, no ownership, no real resolution. Bottom line: This is a small state credit union trying to play in the jumbo mortgage space without the infrastructure to do it safely. If you value your time, your sanity, and especially your credit, take your business somewhere that actually has systems built for loans of this size.

I tried getting auto loans and mortgages from them and no one ever called me back. Even going into the branch was useless. They'll find a reason to send you away and when you return you'll have to start the process over again from scratch. Then you'll be told different information, need different forms, or they won't be able to find or complete what you need done. They'll hand you off to someone who works remote and that person won't call you back. I had a business account and personal account with them. They'll nickel and dime you for everything. Every single task costs money. Fees for everyone! If you're $0.20 short on a transaction, but you have money in your savings you can expect a $30 overdraft fee. They won't auto transfer from one account to the next. Their solution? Open a line of credit! Okay, try to open one and it'll take WEEKS if it even ever gets done. Never come to this place. -- UPDATE: Even worse now -- Apparently they don't have overdraft protection, or their form of it is just absurd. Got charged $30 even though there was money in my checking account to cover the cost. I am DEFINITELY moving to M&T Bank after this. This is such a basic service that it didn't occur to me to ask if they had it before opening the account. I can't even been able use the minimal "online banking" services they do have to check my balance, etc. I've made two requests for a log-in, but have received no reply at all. Their in-person service is slow & indifferent. I'm rather baffled as to how they stay in business.
