A cell phone call came in, the big guy said Joe, in the morning I'll see ya BOA called in they had bad customer service comin' in And their bank and their reputation now terrible And later that night when the BOA turned out its lights Joe turned to BBT to save him from Peril Does any one know where the love of God goes When banking turns the minutes to hours? The bankers all say they'd have made the wire OK If they'd put fifteen minutes of service more in her. BOA should be split up or they should be capsized; As they lose customers and take on water. Colonial Bank bought our loan from Prime Lending (a great company in Austin) without our knowledge…read more That's when things turned bad. They immediately INCREASED our mortgage by $300 per month without notice. When I called to ask why the rep explained that they projected an increase in property taxes; so they needed to fund the escrow to cover it. This increased payment has gone on over a year now and we have a sizable SURPLUS or our money sitting in the escrow - unavailable to us, as the property taxes DID NOT increase as they had projected. That's nice, however they are not giving us our money back or even applying it to principle. I've called 2x now and the very nice and polite phone rep tells me that they will be rebalancing everything and cutting checks soon. Still - I don't like it that they have essentially had an extra $4K of my money this year and I need this to pay INCOME TAXES NOW!

I have been a customer at this bank for 20 to 25 years and never had any negative issues. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. I tried to cash a check that was written on an account that was also a Chase account. (a major state governmental entity). There is more than enough in my account to cover the check I was trying to cash. This has happened before and makes me believe the branch staff is incompetent or just lying to me. When I spoke to management I found them to be rude, they interrupted me and were non-responsive to my questions. This is a bold statement, but consider the fact that when I went to another Chase branch the check was cashed without and issue. If there was something actually wrong with the check why did they cash it? I have had several other customer service failures at this Branch. If you must do business with Chase you should avoid this branch at all costs!!!! I also use Frost Bank where customer service is actually a part of their corporate culture. In fact, Frost Bank has award winning service. The tellers are polite and the managers are outstanding. The contrast is like night and day.
