My wife and I went to this branch to get my name added to an account that she had for 10 years or so. We waited around 20 minutes which was fine as we walked in and then spent around 30 minutes providing my passport, work authorization, social security number etc. Copies were taken and we filled various forms. Great, I was added to the account! Then I received a letter in the mail that they could not verify my SSN (odd, since I have employment and credit card) with a number to call. The operator told me I needed to go to a branch. No more details provided and obviously I can't just drop out of work during the day to see them. I called the SSN desk and there is no issues with my SSN. Then without notice, a week later the bank account was closed and funds (mid 5 figures) was "DDA" out of the account. Apparently a cheque is being sent in the mail. Can you imagine if this was someone's only account? They closed my wife's account after my wife had been banking with them for 10 years. Unbelievable. There is no ability to open the account and we need to go back and provide paperwork etc again. Would not recommend. Obviously. read more

Can confirm past reviews, still no tellers. Went in to open a new bank account and the power went out. Clearly that's beyond anyones control but the customer service after that was awful. Humberto, who was helping us before the power went out, was supposed to call us when the power was back on to come back in and finish up signing some documents. Days later I had to go into the branch to schedule a meeting because he never called back and was unable to reach anyone there by phone. Luckily he was there that day and we got a time set up. Showed up to our appointment we scheduled with him again and he wasn't even working at that branch that day. Needless to say we were extremely frustrated with him. It's hard to give this location a bad review. A little confusing that it's a cashless branch (they don't accept any deposits or have tellers to accept cash only machines). Came here to take cash out, I lost my debt card. The two women here were SUPER friendly and helped me figure out how to get money from the ATM but it took a lot of downloading on my apple wallet, accepting terms, etc. Such a bummer that this is the way that banking is heading without actual tellers at physical locations. read more

Why this location even exists is beyond me. Don't waste your time, no one can help you with anything and there are no tellers. That's right, NO TELLERS. I came here a few months ago and it was a normal bank with tellers who were very helpful. I came back today because my brand new chase visa chip is malfunctioning and gets declined when I use the strip. To boot, I'm traveling tomorrow and literally cannot access my money. Great. The guy who greeted me told me to use my card at the atm to get cash. I thought odd considering I just told him it's not working, but maybe it's a test? Nope. It's just because that's all they could do. There were at least 5 employees there but not one could help me. They don't keep cash on site bc there are no tellers. They couldn't order me a replacement card. Why are you even there?? Their answer- go to another branch. Are you kidding me? This place is a waste of space. Whatever you're doing here chase, is absolute garbage. Fellow tellers- do not go here unless you just need an atm. If you need literally anything else or help from a human, go to the Sloan's lake location. They are lovely and very helpful. read more

The cardless system with the ATM was difficult to figure out, but that is no fault of the banks. The kind lady working helped us and we eventually figured it out. The complementary water was empty and there were no cups to be found. At that point don't have water out. All things considered we came in to get money out and that's exactly what we did. I often pop into this Chase branch on my way home. I have always found the employees to be friendly and efficient. Usually I am doing a single check transaction payment to our credit card. I do not have a checking/savings account here, just a credit card. The parking lot is the only downfall to this location as it is right off Speer and not easy to always pull in and out if there is any amount of traffic. read more

This branch has no bank tellers so you can only get a limited number of things done there. There is an employee who stands there just to tell you that it's a digital-only branch, that they can't help you and suggest you find a different branch. What a lovely job that must be. read more

Who writes checks anymore? I don't really, but when I do expect them to clear. So imagine my shock when on Friday I discovered a check had been returned as my bank account being closed (see my review for Quantum Collection Services for more details). Knowing that my account was not closed, and that I had a few important checks that hadn't cleared yet. I headed straight to the nearest Chase bank to where I was at that time. They looked into the situation, realized the bank had made an error regarding my checks and remedied it by writing me a letter to provide to the businesses that received (unintentionally) bad checks from me. The branch manager, Jessica Klein and the teller whose name I didn't catch, were both extremely helpful and remedied the situation quickly, which restored my peace of mind. I would give 5 stars, however even though this is not this branch's fault, this error should have never happened in the first place. So 4 stars. read more

Wow. So I was hoping to quickly run into the Chase to take care of a mistake on my account, only to run into some horrible, horrible, horrible customer service. Though the teller was pleasant in the delivery of a sub-par customer experience, I was still completely baffled! Me: Hello! There is a mistake on my account. Teller: I can't help you with that, you will need to talk to a banker for assistance. It will be about 30-45 minutes. Me: Really? That seems like a pretty horrible wait. Teller: You can call the number on the back of your card, but they probably won't be able to help. Me: That doesn't seem like a solution. Let me just talk to the branch manager. Teller: Sure. Just have a seat, it will be a few minutes. Me: Thank you. [Walks to get a seat, watches the teller.] Teller: [Has no intention of getting the Branch Manager. OK, I know it feels silly to write a review for a large corporation that pretty much everyone expects to suck, but if EVERYONE wrote a bad review, maybe we would all stop using these crappy companies!! WHO'S WITH ME? No one? OK, well back to my review.... We started a bank account for our non-profit here, and the dude who does ALL the business banking was not there that day so the sweet personal banking dude kind of slowly worked his way through starting the account, like reading manuals or something. It took forever, but whatever. Yesterday we got a letter in the mail saying that we had signed an agreement saying Chase has the right to close our account for no reason whatsoever. And that they were closing our account for no reason whatsoever. Yup, you do have that right, but it doesn't mean it's not a crappy thing to do! I don't care about the law. I care about better business practices. We can easily start a bank account somewhere else (and boy will we), but it's just very bizarre, not-cool behavior. We called the number (national, not the branch) and the guy on the phone said that someone opening our account had suspected we were linked to GAMBLING and CASINOS!! Which is pretty off-based considering we are a non-profit for the arts. We asked how they had come to that conclusion (maybe some casino has the same name as us - we would like to know that information) and they wouldn't tell us anything, just kept repeating that they had the right to close the account. This digital location has multiple atms and has Relationship Bankers on staff to help open accounts and answer questions. No tellers but in 2021 I don't often need a teller since I use the atms. read more

Helpful and friendly. I have done my banking here for years. Pretty consistent with service. My only complaint is "no public restrooms". Yeah, I get that. But how about restrooms "only for customers". I cannot imagine any business declining their customers to use their restroom. Weird. read more

I lost it in Chase...besides dealing with airport security, I don't lose it. I deposited a check via an ATM. It cleared. For 2 weeks, it was there. I used very little funds from that account and my ATM debit card declined while at Whole Foods. What??? I went to Chase. I sat there for 3 hours while they tried to get to the bottom of the issue. "We believe the signature on your check is fraudulent," said a manager to me. Okay, so how do I prove that it's not?" I asked. "You need to have a new check sent to you with signatures of X,Y,Z, a letter, et el. "Why did you withhold ALL of my money, even more than the amount the check was worth?," I asked. "We are sorry. We can't answer that." "Why was my money from this check good for two weeks and then randomly it wasn't?!" I screamed. "It might have been an oversight on our part. It's hard to tell," retorted the manager. All of our bills tied to the checking account that were automatic bounced. I had over $1,000.00 in fees I had to pay because of this. I had a new check sent, deposited it into Bellco (the same way as Chase) and there were no issues. Chase made $500.00 off of me that day. So, who is fraudulent again? read more

I've been using Chase for a while and I use the location in Denver on Federal and Speer. Today I had the worst customer experience I have ever had. The manager just refused to help answer my questions and brushed me off telling me everything I said was false, then condescendingly told me he would show me how to use an atm. I'm sorry but banks USUALLY have tellers, this is the first time I had seen one without so yeah, I was a little confused. I don't know his name but Chase, you need to seriously reconsider your management teams because you just lost a loyal customer, I'm 100% switching banks and have never been treated like that in my life. Don't go to the Federal and Speer location of Chase bank, they'll treat you like vermin. read more

Past times been at this location there was only 1 banker working on weekends. Times open on weekends is limited. Long waits and even longer time to get services like start an account. Save time and do it online. read more

I have been a Private Client Member for some time now and I have yet to receive the service that is supposed to come with it. Today, I had the pleasure of bank teller, Hailee, and boy was she was a joy. Her miserableness is very apparent on her face and she really shouldn't be representing the Chase brand. I have been a Chase customer for several years and i have a number of acts with them, both personal and business. Anyhow, I walked in on a Saturday at 9:10am the bank wasn't even open. Once they opened they advised me their system was down. No big deal, because the "customer relations" said he could handle my questions at his desk. I simply went in to have money wired. Once i sat down i told him that i would like to build a relation ship with a local banker bcs i am new to the neighborhood and i want to establish some more business accts. Longer story short he said he couldn't do the wire but "he would call me when the system goes back on line" I said great, please call because i have a number of things to do. Well i never heard from him so i walked in yesterday the 22nd to wire the $ again. I asked him what happened and he said " Man, we were swamped" I said, " well i'm a bit disappointed bcs i was waiting for a call at least" he said " like i said we were busy" Then i said, well maybe i should take my business somewhere else where i can build a relationship", he said "do what you got to do!" Which was pretty annoying bcs i would never tell that to another customer! He was very unprofessional and after speaking to the manager he apologized but really could care less. By the tone of his voice. I would suggest not going to this branch for your needs. I am willing to drive an additional couple of miles instead of going to this branch. It's pretty frustrating overall bcs customer service in this country has gone down the tube! We give this bank our money and we expect to be treated with respect but they obviously don't know the meaning of that! read more
