Set up an appointment, expressly stating that I needed to take care of my & my recently deceased husbands personal, business and investment/IRA accounts. It was over a week before an appointment could be accommodated. I arrived along with several associates that were assisting me on the consolidation plans for the IRA's & investment accounts. The bank had not relayed the information of what needed to be accomplished & the banker was only able to assist in the personal accounts. Several of my other & smaller banks have been more knowledgeable & professional in these processes than I just experienced with Wells Fargo. You people are nothing but predatory. You solicit with credit card applications with big offers with ZERO intention of issuing the credit card. You do this to people with high credit scores. You sell the data after the credit report has been hit and damaged. Then, that data goes into your databases all over the world where people at call centers in 3rd-world countries have full access to your personal data and request your full social security number. You refuse to delete a person's personal data and put them at high, high, HIGH risk of identity theft. You waste hours and hours and HOURS of their time trying to get their personal data deleted. You LIE on the letters that you send out which gives two options for getting personal data deleted. Neither option works without providing more personal data that your managers explain resides on your databases for at least 4 years!!!!! You insist on full photo IDs with personal data that sits on your databases for at least 4 years. TURN AND RUN FROM WELLS FARGO. They have had multiple lawsuits filed against them for data breaches, yet, they continue to conduct business as usual. You absolute POS, Wells Fargo. YOU ARE ABSOLUTE UNETHICAL POS. I'm willing to bet that you don't even encrypt the data on your databases. How can you let people in 3rd world countries have access to peoples' private data to include full social security numbers???!!!!! read more

I have been with Wells Fargo for over 10 years. In the spring of 2023, I brought a large amount of money to them from the sale of our house. I had to fight to get the advertised promotional bonus money for bringing over these funds. Now, this week, I got another one of these promotions in the mail. Once again, they are refusing to allow me to have it if I bring another large deposit to them. I am finished fighting with this bank. Closing all my accounts and going elsewhere. read more

RUDE! I called customer service this morning to review my credit card payments because my payment log was not matching what I was seeing online. After going through the long-menu, I was connected to a lady. After providing all of my information and explaining what I need, she said, I'm going to transfer you, and she transferred me back to the main menu. I reached a man the second time. I explained to him that I am having a hard time hearing him. He was speaking very soft and he sounded like he was far away. I went through verifying my information and explaining the purpose of my call when all of a sudden I hear, "your call cannot be completed as dialed". He hung up on me!!! The third lady I reached was very helpful but rude. I don't understand what is so hard about confirming payment dates and amounts. I'm so glad that my credit card is soon to be paid off and I will never do business with Wells Fargo. read more

Beh. I closed my accounts with these dirty gits for a couple of reasons: 1) They gave me a MasterCard at 15% interest and gouged a deep(er) hole in my ass. I switched to a credit union and have a 6% Visa. Gimme a damned break. 2) They have ridiculously discriminatory hiring practices in terms of their tellers. Ok, idiots but half of the planet are not Arab and Latino homosexuals. There is open discrimination against white people here and it's not hard to spot. Where is the EEOC? Thankfully I shook the dirt of your unethical practices off my feet and walked out, never - and I mean NEVER - to return. **EDIT Sept 2016: I think I was scammed into opening an unnecessary second checking account. They called me once and claimed my card had been hacked and someone got arrested and then suggested I opened a second checking account so that if someone got into it online, they couldn't take out all of the money in the account but just the little that was in there. I went along. I've never had a bank do this to me before, and I think I was scammed. If there's a class action suit on this, I'm going to join it. read more

I was nowhere near my credit union, and had 3 checks to cash from a part time job. The Teller, he was friendly and even when i didnt have my Debit card from my bank he used my social to cash the checks. And didnt even take out the 5 dollar fee or put up a stink about cashing the 3 of them. With this kind of customer service i may switch back to Wells Fargo. read more

This is a typical Wells Fargo - the staff are friendly, the lines move quick, everything is easy to find. I always walked here, so I can't comment with certainty about parking, but I believe Wells Fargo validates if you are in the Independence Plaza lot (I would check on that first). When it is closed, the ATM is hard to find because it is down a separate hallway inside Independence Plaza. read more

Ok if you go into a branch. But anything over the phone is impossible unless you keep a list of their departments and internal phone numbers. Often I call, get verified, then transferred, re-verified, re-transferred, re-verified. Only the 3 or 4th person is able to address my issue. I needed some assistance with my account . I called and a banker ( his name is Angello) picked up my call right away. I needed to replacement my card , it only took him 2-3 min to get me a temporary card .im still pretty impressed with The service received .awesome !!!! read more

I went here on Wednesday to "bank" since they are a bank, and I figured that is their job? Wrong. However, it took about 45 minutes for a banker to be "opened" just to be told they couldn't help me (How? it is your job!). It's funny how the wells fargo in SouthGlenn helped me right away, and helped me out with a problem they couldn't seem to solve because it was impossible for them to do. If you can't do your jobs, don't work there. Simple. This wasted my time, and I didn't have time for lunch. Thanks for not doing your job? Useless! Also the bankers looked like they were twelve and they had the worst attitude. I would much rather drive 20 miles to go see my regular bankers, they are nicer and much more qualified. I do not bank here but needed to cash a check written off of Wells Fargo. When I walked in the individual working said he could not cash the check and needed to get a banker to do it. When the other worker came over, he said "I'm busy, I'm with a customer" (I'm not a customer?) and walked away so then the teller said he couldn't cash it. I was beginning to look frustrated and this is when another employee told him to just do it. After I had endorsed the check, fingerprinted the check, and it had been scanned he then proceeds to tell me there is a $7.50 fee for cashing the check? So I left and went across the street to deposit the check at my bank however by this time my bank was already closed. So I went back to Wells Fargo to cash it and I expressed my disappointment with them. There were no offers to make the situation right or waive the fee. They told me the fee was based on "who made the check." So in other words they placed the blame on the check writer instead of appropriately explaining why they have a fee. Then two other tellers began yelling at me and some other employee said he wouldn't cash the check and said he was going to call security. Seems like an extreme measure. If they were trying to attract a new customer, they failed miserably and also lost their $7.50 that I then reluctantly agreed to pay after they had wasted 30 minutes of my time. Had they waived the fee as a one off circumstance I may have left with a different impression but obviously greed is the name of the game. I used to be a bank teller at a community bank and this would have never ever happened, customer service or fee wise. In the long run people and their loyalty to your business are more important than fees. Sadly this is the way the world is turning, soon everything that was once done as a courtesy will have a fee attached to it. I find it disgusting that a big bank who I had to bail out with my tax dollars who hoards billions of dollars and takes peoples' money feels that their customer service is of no regard and has to charge a fee for cashing a check. Do yourself a favor, take your money out of big corporate banks and support the local banks and credit unions in your community. read more

Went into the office in Glendale and opened an account. The people were friendly and personable. I was in and out in 15 minutes.
