I have been using this bank for years. I've never had any negative experiences like other reviewers…read morereport. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. They always work with professionalism. At times, limited numbers of tellers can cause a line to form, which can be inconvenient. However, each time this has occurred while I was there, they open another teller up to move things along faster. They try their best to accommodate the customers and remedy such things during the times I've experienced it. Overall, will continue my banking here.

I would also like to add they have several people standing around even with long lines which is super frustrating. I only went to see a teller to get large bills, they should consider adding denominations of $50 at the ATM so you don't have to deal with the long lines. They helped me rebuild my credit and in less then 1 year, I now qualify for line of credit (store card/financing) with the same very big bank that denied me last year after using them for 10years! liberty savings is the real deal, i visit the union city office - Maria, Karen, and Carlos are the best, sure the wait can be long but the benefits outweigh the wait. They charged $3/month PER CHILD to print paper statements that I NEVER requested. 2. I called + emailed 1 year ago to stop paper statements. They waived it ONCE but kept charging every month after. 3. Today I closed both accounts. They charged a $10 "account closing fee" even though the accounts were open more than 2 years. Last year they told me I had to wait 1 year to avoid this fee. I waited. They charged it anyway. This bank preys on kids' savings accounts. The fees ate more than any interest earned. Staff doesn't fix issues when you report them. DO NOT open a kids savings account here. You're better off with a piggy bank. I hate this bank and would never recommend it to anyone.
