Customer of Chase bank for more than 10+ years. My first time encounter horrible customer service is from this branch manager Abdool India looking gentleman. He said bank refuses to provide a bag for water mark damaged currency. Meanwhile another chase bank in Bayside was able to. He said to his staff that we are not doing this because it brings no money, no value in and extra work for us. Tell the customer to google herself. When indicated that the teller was behind 3 inch thick bullet proof plastic she referenced the slot where you slide your deposit. This was hours before the supreme court struck down this unconstitutional mask mandate. If employees are going to worry about covid coming through the money slot, they are prob too paranoid to work outside their homes. If I do not get an apology my accounts with chase will be closed. Please be aware of the Senior Branch Manager ROXANNA PORTER! A week before rent is due, I walked into the Chase bank at 107-36 71st Ave Forest Hills, NY 11375-4725 to withdraw my rent funds in the form of a Money Order. My transaction started off normal and escalated when the teller whispered out that she doesn't feel comfortable assist me with my withdrawn and if I can wait for the Manager to come and verify my account. As I waited for over 25 minutes for the Manager to acknowledge me (now 43 mins waiting in the branch) Miss ROXANNA PORTER, asked me to verify not my current address on file but ALL my address to access my account after I already authenticate myself with my DL, Passport and account pin code. I felt more comfortable providing all my personal information to her inside a Bankers cubicle. After my request to do so, Miss Porter, leaned towards the teller window while using body language aggressively yelled that she would not be doing my transactions in front of several Chase customer who was waiting in the line for assistance (this branch only had one teller window open). There is more and it's all recorded! I have submitted a complaint to Chase, BBB and also the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Came here for the second time to get something notarized and failed. 1st time there was a note by the sign up sheet that there is "no notary today". Today, I was told by a service rep that they don't do notary after 4pm EVERYDAY. It was 4:26pm. They don't close till 6pm. I went to this branch on 02/25/2022 for them to fill out EFTPS form which is send by the IRS for my business. The lady who looked at the EFTPS form doesn't even understand what the form is used for, like how come you are hiring people who are incompetent with banking related forms. This Chase branch gave me hard time and wouldn't fill out the form and do not have notorious. They claim that they are "short staffed" but in reality they don't even want to hire people in the first place. Why would you send a fraudulent information to your own costumers who has been with Chase Bank for decades. This is ridiculous that they don't have staff when in reality so many recent college graduates can't even get a job. Chase is a lie and only care about making money and when you have problems, they don't want to solve it. They will put you down and make you feel less of a human. I won't recommend you opening an account with them. They will keep claiming that they are short staff and that it's the costumers problem, that they are short staffed. If you are short staffed then you go out of your way to hire people ASAP to serve your duty as a bank or else don't be a bank and leave the banking industry. read more

Sitting at the corner of Queens Boulevard and 71st, this is a rather large Chase branch, perhaps the largest in the area. That said, it's quite busy and there's a line during the times of day you'd expect, including weekends. It's due to its location and size that I thought they'd have foreign currency, but apparently they don't. They'll be more than happy to get it for you, but you'll need to place an order. You can't come into this bank and do what you need to in order to get on with your day. Expect to wait approximately eleven times longer than you would reasonably think the line should take. I came here with my wife to deposit a check in the morning. We had planned to go to breakfast afterward. We had to change our plans and not have breakfast. They recently changed how they set up the line to get to the teller window. I think this was a scheme to make things move slower. I'm astonished that I still frequent this location, but they're so centrally located that they feel like the only game in town. During my last visit at this branch, I normally use the ATM to make a deposit , but unfortunately the ATMs were occupied or out of service. So I decided to deposit my check at the teller window. The teller was distracted talking another teller after almost minute being the only one waiting on line to get helped they finally acknowledge me so I approached the window I kindly said " hello" I got no response then I requested to have my check deposited then the teller asked me "why didn't you use the machines? then I responded "well one was occupied and the other is out of service" the teller gave me a peculiar look . Do you expect to sit on your behind chatting with your co-worker all day and not service customers and have the audacity to ask me to use the machine instead.I honestly didn't feel welcomed at this branch.
