Got a new credit card from Chase and they had wrong last name on it ( Partial last name), called 800 number and they said in order to correct the last name they have to mail me a legal name change form and I have to fill it out and with a copy of my driver license take it to a branch and they can fax it, so I did it and went to this branch and they took the forms and faxed it, I saw the agent taking copy of my ID, so few days later I got an email that they received the forms but no copy of my ID, so took the forms again and took it to this branch again and she got a copy of my license and faxed it and she gave me a fax cover sheet that shows the number of pages faxed which ID was there also, today I got an email that they issued me a new credit card and when I looked at the last name on it, it is wrong again, called the 800 and they apologized and they said that in order to do that he has to send me new forms and I have to fill it out again and take it to a branch to be faxed. 21st century and Chase can not get their act together to print the customer's name correctly?, they need to change their software system OR the people who are running the show and I think starts from the top. Small banks and Credit Unions will give you a better service than big banks like Chase, Wells Fargo, Bank of America OR US Bank, definitely will be closing my account with Chase read more

I had a very unpleasant phone conversation today with the bank manager Sean. Me being a loyal chase member for over 5 years, loves chase from the start was very disappointed with my interaction over the phone with Sean. I called chase to inquire about getting a credit card I was approved for. I mention how my friend referred me to the sapphire preferred and how do I do the process. From the start Sean was very rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I felt very devalued as a loyal chase member and was speechless with his rude response. Pretty much making me seem like I'm stupid or uneducated because I didn't know how to proceed with the process. Unfortunately I will not be calling this location and looking into switching banks. It's unfortunate that when I asked for his name he was very quick to add he was the branch manager. I highly recommend for that employee to be retrained on how to have basic consumer service. I generally do all my banking close to home at the Chase Bank on Blue Diamond. Today I stopped into the branch on Durango Dr. and Warm Springs and was surprised to see not one, not two, but three, yes, three bank tellers. At the branch I usually bank at, you're lucky to see two tellers, and usually, there's only one. Being helped by tellers is something that I used to be accustomed to and took for granted when I was younger. But now, tellers are a dying breed, and it's infrequent you see more than one or two at the same time. I assume we're all being trained over time to use an electronic teller system, much like the supermarkets' automated checkout lines. I know it's not something that would generally rank up there with exceptional customer service or even good service, but I guess we've all been trained to think of something as small as an extra bank teller as something special. For that reason, I'm giving this branch four stars instead of three. Oh, and by the way, don't ever take pictures inside a bank; you'll get nothing but stares, scowls, and photographs of you taking pictures. I wouldn't be surprised if I end up on a poster somewhere plastered on a wall. So I suggest that you never take any bank pictures, especially of the inside. Bank would not cash a check from there own bank. They ran my check told ne it would be a $10 fee, i said fine. After they printed on my check they told me there was a 3k limit. I told them i couldn't cash it now that they printed on it. They said they voided there print. I went to my bank to to put it in my account and they are telling me they cannot honor the check because it was already printed on. I am absolutely livid about this. I attempted to move some accounts to their bank (new to area) and basically after three attempts they told me they were not interested in that small of an account. With CHASE you must make an appt for an investment broker. The scam is they will call you back.... They then send you an email saying sorry could not reach you (although you have zero missed calls). So they give you a 1 800 number. When you call it a central investment screenor weeds out the smaller, less lucrative investors. In other words they don't want to waste their time. Worst Chase bank in this country. We've been Chase clients since the 90's of not earlier in NY. They were giving a hard time to my mother who came in inquiring about transactions done at the bank since it wasn't reflecting on her statement. So much for being one of their 'Private Client.' I was a BofA gal when I was in CA, but have since become a Chase gal in NV. They first got me with their credit cards, specifically the Sapphire and now Reserve. Next, they got me a special offer to open a checking account, and now, I have a car loan and other accounts through Chase. I don't usually go inside to branches because I primarily use online banking (they have a very easy to navigate app). But of all the branches I've been to, this one does have really good customer service. There is usually someone at the front asking how they can help you, and they direct you to the counter services, or sign you up to speak with one of their bankers. The banker I spoke to was patient and courteous when I asked my 101 questions. He even gave me good referrals for insurance and security. Next time I need to meet with a banker, I will make an appointment so I don't have to wait longer than necessary. If you need a bank and relationship manager/bankers, go to this location. read more

Worst experience ever in every way!!! I walk into an empty chase bank and I'm thinking that wow this is my lucky day, I'm walking into the bank and it is not busy, I should definitely be able to get in and out rather quickly. I walked up to a teller and let her know I needed to do a name change ...would that be through her or or where did I go she informed me it would be with a personal banker and that I should have a seat and someone would be right with me as soon as they were done helping the guests they were assisting. On a sidenote I had called customer service the day before to see if I can do the name change on the phone and they wanted me to come in person and were even kind enough to look up the closest location for me, which was the warm Springs and Durango location. The customer service rep on the phone let me know I should be able to walk in and get assistance no problem. After I sat there for 20 minutes on my lunch break one of the personal bankers freed up and walked right by me and welcomed someone else who had just sat down. I politely noted that I think I was next as I've been waiting, before they arrived. She rudely snapped her neck and looked at me and said wry rudely Um did you make an appointment? With her eyebrows raised and face scowled. I said no, no one informed me I needed to make an appointment and she said they were strictly by appointment only and I needed to come back when I had one. She then took her appointment to her cube. At no time did anyone inform me that they were by appointment only and no one ever stepped out to say the wait is going to be awhile, or ask if I had an appointment, before letting me sit there twenty minutes. The teller told me to have a seat but never informed me of the policy either. I left upset and the started to become very upset and frustrated because I was just rudely talked down to and asked to leave after waiting a long time. I walked right back in walked and interrupted her with her clients and said you need to get a manager, I'm not gonna be refuse service and treated poorly and she told me her manager was busy and there was no one here to help me. I started yelling that I wanted her manager now. She went behind close doors and said it's going to be at least 15 minutes if I wanted to wait because she's busy. So I waited and while I waited I called customer care and filed a complaint, they offered to call the branch and get someone to help me. I accepted, just shortly after they rang a person in a black suit came and called me by name and let me know she was taking me to someone who could help. She walked me to the business transaction line where the clerk had ultimate "bitch face" and asked what can I help you with rudely, I stared a simple name change while on the verge of tears. She said no I can't do that, you need an appointment, you will have to come back. I said really? Does the left hand not know what the right hand is doing I was just told I would be assisted and you are telling me no, come back when I have an appointment? Seriously? She said I can't help you, next in line please!!!! I walked out yelling that they cannot expect to keep customers being so rude and denying service and that they just lost all my business. You don't get to treat people with disrespect and yank them around for an hour it ended up being without providing any service or utility and basically ignoring me entirely even while I'm frustrated and upset. No one felt the urge to pull me aside or calm me down just to keep fueling the fire and treating me poorly. I am never going back to this location and I'll be damned if I need to bank with them there are too many places who actually enjoy their job and want to treat people kindly and not waste their time. read more

She went spent over an hour in line and she presented the check and her Drivers license and her Nevada state marriage officiant license with picture and signature and expiration date and they refused to use that as a form of identification They stated that Chase does not consider that as sufficient form of second ID I do not appreciate the way chase handled this if the teller was unsure of what was presented she should of called a manager . This Chase Bank branch is supposed to be a "Business" branch and "Private Client" branch, but it makes me wonder exactly what that means. [It means nothing, evidently] I walked in the other day to make a deposit to my Chase checking account and to get some cash. I asked for $2,000 in $100 bills. That's 20 of them [for the math challenged], and it's a VERY SMALL cash request for this nationwide bank. But not for this branch. They didn't have it. The teller said she only had seven $100 bills, but could make up the rest in $20 bills. And she was serious about that. Of course if I wanted $20 bills I would have asked for $20, but they take up too much room in my pocket for $2,000. The teller said that the customers yesterday took almost all their $100 bills and they're waiting for a delivery of more of them. Nice planning on their part to run out of $100 bills in this branch. How convenient for their customers. So I asked to speak with the branch manager. "He's not here today," she said. That makes sense. That way he's not responsible for the branch running out of $100 bills. But I did get his card. It says his name is Aaron Friedman, and he is indeed the Branch Manager according to the card. Nice customer service and planning, Mr. Friedman. I did get my twenty $100 bills easily at another Chase branch, and told that teller about the Warm Springs branch not having them. She apologized and thought that was very strange. That's what I thought too. The Warm Springs branch is way off The Strip and usually has short lines. But that doesn't do you any good if they don't have the cash you want for birthdays, trips, gambling or whatever you want it for. That's terrible planning and bad customer service. Beware of Chase Bank. I have been a customer for years. My credit card has not had a balance for about a year. I received a letter stating that they were going to close my account for "inactivity" if I didn't use my card. I used my card as instructed but the minute that the balance was paid in full, they closed my account anyway! Of all the Chase Bank locations I've been to (which includes several states), this location is by far my favorite. The staff here is friendly, professional and efficient. I've never had to wait more than a minute, and the staff always processes my transaction quickly. At other locations I get frequently annoyed at how the staff forces small talk. They notice my out of state ID, etc. and start chatting me up. Look, I didn't come to the bank to make friends, I came here to cash a check, make a deposit, etc. I don't have that problem at this location however. The staff is kind and makes me feel welcome but they don't waste my time and I really appreciate that. They have a drive thru, a drive thru ATM and an additional ATM inside. I came in today for the first time to make a payment on my credit card and the best part was nobody was in line! However I have to ding them on a few stars because of the customer service! I work for a financial institution so I know exactly how this transaction should've went. Now as crazy as this sounds I had a simple question about a posting time frame on my credit card payment. Payment due date was today in July 2nd and so with that landing on a Saturday it clearly isn't a business day technically but I asked the teller LISA (CASHBOX#1)about the posting time frame. The receipt showed that it wouldn't post until the 5th which is after the 2nd so I wanted to make sure I wouldn't be charged a late fee because of this. Lisa said "oh it will post the 5th".. Okay i know that but answer my question.. Will I get a fee she says nonchalantly "yeah most likely" that's BS so I walk out and call customer service and sure enough she was wrong! My transaction took place on the date it was due so I in fact am not late! Learn your transactions or be properly educated on these simple questions before sending your people out on the line. Not only this but every other teller was having conversation with their customers and I had the awkward silence while she was processing my transaction? Weird.. Was my transaction processed correctly? YES! Was I impressed with the service? NO! Was my questions/concerns addressed? NO! So that's 1 out of 3 that puts you at 33% which equals a FAIL! read more

I went in to open a new Chase Slate account for balance transfers and the agent first off entered the completely wrong name to the card, second, lied to me and told me that I was approved for a much lower APR than I actually was, third, he submitted a balance transfer without my permission!
