I hardly ever leave bad reviews but here we go. This place has gone downhill since the rebrand to "Create Credit Union" instead of Clark County Credit Union. I checked my account to see that they hit me with ELEVEN insufficient funds charges totaling up to just over $300. Like any average barely middle class person I panicked. I didn't receive any emails, and my card was not declining even though I had it set to do that. I went in person right after work (admittedly a bit flustered). I explained the situation to Christine and also explained that I literally have an app I can pull money out of my check early if needed for situations like this, and had I gotten an email or notification of ANY KIND that my account was in the negative I would have fixed it. Christine didn't apologize at all she just told me that it "wasn't a bank error" and so "there was nothing she could do." My husband and I already felt uneasy about the rebrand of the bank, and that all the benefits of banking here left with the rebrand. We will be pulling the rest of our funds from Create Credit Union after I get paid IN TWO DAYS and we will be looking into another credit union. These guys no longer care about their customers and it's honestly really sad. I have never felt more scammed by a bank. UPDATE TO THE RESPONSE: NO! You have NOT been in communications with me since last year that is a blatant complete and utter lie. I have received NO emails regarding that. I deposited a low end check of 1,000 dollars on Wednesday evening and today is Saturday, I still have no available balance in my account from that check, that violates Federal minimum and the law! Create Credit Union does not care about members undergoing Financial hardships they treat you just like you would be at a bank like Bank of America or Wells Fargo they're not about their members whatsoever they only care about your score on a piece of paper instead of being able to help you in any way . Would not and will not recommend their financial services to any family or friends at this time as there's no help so unless you're already one of the 700 plus kind of credit reports you're just numbers on a paper. In Jan. 2026, I contacted the Clark County Credit Union (CCCU) later to become Create Credit Union (CCU) about refinancing a loan on a commercial building that was leased to Caliber Collision (CC)--a national company that does vehicle repairs and uses hazardous materials. I asked for an estimate of how long it would take to complete the loan process; I was told it should take 6 to 8 weeks. It took 15 weeks. When I complained about the time to complete the loan, I was told it was more complicated then they thought. Did they make the estimate without knowing what it would entail? In mid to late Jan., I was told the interest rate would be 5.8 percent. The final loan interest rate is 6.2 percent if I maintain an average account balance of $25,000--I expected a current interest rate of about 6.2 percent, but the additional deposit requirement would significantly increase my effective interest rate. I consider those to be significant modifications to the loan terms I was given earlier. In late April, I asked 4 times for wiring instructions so I could wire funds to my account. I was finally sent the instructions and they were wrong. They had the wrong address for my residence/location. I asked several times for information about getting an ACH set up to deposit payments to my account and about how I could access my accounts and make payments from them to my loan account before I finally got access to the information in the loan account. The ACH documents were finally created and sent to CBRE--which was performing administrative functions for CC. On June 1, 2026, I was supposed to get my first ACH deposit to my account at CCU. The deposit was not made, so I emailed CCU to find out what happened. Later, I also needed to email CBRE to find out what happened. I didn't find out until June 17, from CBRE, that they had made the ACH deposit transaction, but it was returned by CCU. I contacted CCU to find out what happened. The next business day, they notified me that the ACH deposit was returned because the instructions they provided were wrong. I was then sent several emails that asked me to do certain things that didn't make sense--such as 'send the last document to your savings account.' The email contained what appeared to be an updated ACH document, but the email didn't refer to it, it referred to a prior document, and I was supposed to send the document to my savings account. There were no instructions on how to do that. The result was that I had no idea what I was being asked to do or how to do it, and CCU didn't tell me why they couldn't just fix the incorrect information they had given CBRE. By June 24, I still had no idea whether the ACH issues had been resolved and when I would get my lease payment--which was due June 1. They didn't complete the ACH process in June or July, so Caliber Holdings has to send my lease payments by mail. Similarly for August. I was recently told that the ACH would be working for Sept. The bottom line is that CCU made several mistakes and showed no sense of urgency or competence in resolving the issues. The essence of the complaints are: unrealistic estimate of processing time, change of terms, inadequate responses and very slow response times. The result is that I cannot recommend using Create Credit Union for anything more than simple deposit and withdrawal services. read more

I have been a customer of Clark County Credit Union now Create Credit Union only a couple of years. During this time, my bank account was hacked, and Clark County Credit Union said my money could not be returned. Then in the last year whenever I go into the North Decatur branch, there seems to be an issue with my account. Each time the teller takes an inordinate amount of time just getting into my account always telling me 'it's a computer problem.' But it feels very deliberate like the tellers are suspicious of me for some bizarre reason. I have never been arrested in my life nor had any problems with any other bank here in Vegas or any other state. And the last straw was recently receiving a letter that Clark County Credit Union itself was hacked, and my personal info may have been obtained. This after having my personal accounts hacked two years ago and the nightmare that involved. Their name change rebranding is hoping the public forgets the awful customer service of Clark County Credit Union. I'm sure I speak for many customers: We will not forget. read more

"Early Warning Services, Zelle's operating company, confirmed a policy change back on June 30 that requires Zelle's 2,100 bank and credit union participants to reimburse consumers for what it calls qualifying impostor scams. Hello I am unsure who these emails go to but I am emailing about a few negative interactions I've had with this bank. I am in serious need of considerate help. It seems if I can almost never get assistance with errors on this account and it's gotten to the point where I had to leave work today as my body reacts very negatively to stress. Hives on my chest and my face due to what I consider reckless behavior on the banks behalf. On March 9th I called to ask if I had scheduled a car payment because I couldn't find anywhere online that said I had the payment scheduled. The rep I spoke to was pretty sure that she checked everywhere and there was no payment showing at all. I trusted her and I asked her to please note the account because I could not afford to lose my money if this happened to me again (because it has) March 10 I woke up and discovered that my account was overdrawn. I immediately called the bank because I have other bills to pay and this bank has charger me outrageous fees with no understanding as to what happened with my account. I have selfishly heard agent after agent tell me "well if we didn't do it we can't fix it" "if it's not our fault there's nothing we can do" "if it wasn't on our end we can't help". I have been in customer service for years and I have been taught to express what I CAN do. Today I asked the agent I spoke with, if I trusted your agent to be trained and knowledgeable why is it you are telling me I made an error and not addressing the fact that she didn't know the rules and misled me while I believed I was secure. To continue hearing over and over that it was my fault is so harsh and hurtful when it was truly a mistake I tried to catch by calling ahead of time. Waking up to those types of surprises when you have done your best to dot your i's and cross your t's is sad and hurtful. Hearing a voice on the other end telling you "oh well we will just take the money out of your savings" as if I gave permission for my mortgage to be taken is mortifying. I couldn't believe someone would so freely express to someone what will happen to their account after telling them over and over what they cannot do. Finally the agent comes back and says she submitted a claim and she was "pretty sure" id get my money back. She "didn't see why they wouldn't" and "it will happen tonight" empty promises to see you still took my money and never called back or gave me relief. I'm up right now. Fresh from working 9 hours. Moving a friend out of a domestic violence situation and going to night school. I'm unsure how I will sleep tonight because this bank treats me so poorly as a client. I brought my car to you guys to refinance in confidence and so far all I've received is poor treatment and road blocks. I need my money back for my sanity and to pay my bills so you guys don't charge me 90 dollars in fees ever again because I am a busy person doing my best to keep up and focus on the real world. "Bonus Checking account may not be the best fit." That's an understatement. I can't imagine a scenario where someone would want to pay a monthly fee for a checking account. I can name 5 banks on the top of my head that don't require a fee for a checking account. In fact, I work with 4 banks with checking accounts- NONE require a fee. I'm pretty sure that if it was clear there was a monthly fee, I wouldn't have signed up. I take partial responsibility for not asking and rushing through the paperwork to complete my auto-loan. When I call Bank of America about a fee that I don't understand, they usually refund me the fee due to the misunderstanding. CCCU will just keep your money and say "sorry... not sorry." Been a member for only 2 months and I cant wait to drop them. My checking account has been deactivated 6 times in that period and I was only notified twice about the deactivation, a 40$ purchase at Walmart they claimed was suspicious and they shut my card off . They blame it on Visa but they also say I cant get in touch with Visa and no one can explain what exactly is fraudulent activity. Also getting to talk with a supervisor is something they dont want, I have never got to talk with one yet, its great to have money in my account and they wont let you use it, stay away from these amateurs read more

Unfortunately i could not post a review without giving this place at least one star. It does not deserve it. This is the worst credit union I have ever dealt with. They charge for all types of transactions usually covered by other credit unions. I cannot transfer money with Zelle due to their transaction limits. EVERY ATM that they said I could deposit money into did not accept the deposit. This is also the only credit union I have ever dealt with that that charges a monthly maintenance fee. read more

Even after banking with Clark County credit Union for well over six years I am just amazed every time I do business with them. I started a new loan after my last vehicle was totaled and I had a loan officer named Gloria that was absolutely phenomenal, not only did she help me out and was extremely professional but she also was very patient and made sure I understood everything I was getting into. She went over every last option available and took her time explaining everything to make sure I had the best loan possible. I've been in sales for over 25 years and Gloria is definitely cut from a cloth they no longer use very often. Some people call it old school I call it professional and I just wish they were more professional people like Gloria to do business with.
