The Morgan Street Branch, as it's affectionately known, is only 4 blocks from my work in the French Quarter; therefore, it's the most convenient branch for me 90 % of the time. I'm happy to report that even following the merger, it seems like this particular branch was not affected by an influx of new tellers. I love seeing the same faces time after time, as I am a creature of habit and love a little familiarity. The tellers are always courteous and even if the lines are long, they move quickly as it seems that everyone has their "you know what" together. The bank, like most businesses in the French Quarter, is located in a building that is older than all of it's customers. It is an architectural design that is unlike any other banks seen outside of New Orleans. Check out the vaulted (arched) ceiling and you'll see what I'm I'm talking about. There's a small room off to the side of the main lobby with safety deposit boxes but the door to that room is clear glass so if you're worried about not having any sort of privacy while accessing your deposit box you may want to look elsewhere for a different bank.
