But this review is simply about this specific branch. The bank itself is pretty big, located in one of lower end areas in miami if you want to describe it that way. The Bank of America workers are very nice and friendly. But dear lord. I don't know what it is but this Bank is the slowest branch I've ever experienced. I do not choose to come here unless it's the closest one I'm around at that specific moment. They do whatsoever work after hours if they couldn't finish your work till the bank closed. So I was in there till 6 pm the last time I got there. Trying to figure out about a fraud situation. So this is why I'm going to say this again. This is not against Bank of America or the workers in this branch. The case wasn't even an account fraud but had something to do with my credit and they realized it fast enough to prevent more damage. But yes as nice and caring as they are this branch needs a serious do over. Their system constantly failed and broke down. It was sad to see that these guys have to work under these circumstances. So hopefully they will be taken care of soon because this branch is going downhill because of it.

It has been a nightmare in trying to get them to do the right thing, they do not care about their customers, they customer service personnel on the phone is horrible, the wait time to speak to someone is over 45 minutes and when you do get someone on the phone they tell you have to walk into a branch, totally unprofessional and the staff they have on small Walmart locations are totally unprepared to give assistance a resolutions to a simple problem. I opened a checking and savings account and received a small loan to consolidate credit debt. Everyone was extremely helpful. I was using my checking and savings account for small deposits so I could repay my loan. On Oct 9 I sat on my couch to pay my loan payment online and I realized there was an unauthorized charge for sprint. Which brought my account negative and I received over draft fees. I do not do business with sprint so I quickly called the bank and went in to fill out paper work to report the fraud. Now when I was in the bank the "customer service agent" froze my account the said they can't switch my account because it was overdrawn and I needed to bring it current in order to switch the numbers. At this point was i concerned about having an active account. Since I have never owned checks for this account I was inclined to believe that someone inside of the bank used my information. So I went home to wait for an update. 4 days go by and I received a letter saying my account is over drawn I need to bring it current. this is standard. I called the bank to check on the status and the person on the phone said "when I went to the bank to fill out the fraud report they should have switched my account. Please go into the bank to have this done." I went in and the customer service rep said we can not switch your account because it is overdrawn. I then said okay and went home. 3days later I called in to find out the status. The person on the phone said it will take at least two weeks before it would be resolved, however I should go into the bank an they can switch my accounts and I can access without paying for the overdraft because it is reported as fraud and under investigation. So here I am at the bank 13 days later and the customer service agent tells me two options I can bring my account current, pay for fraud, or wait until the investigation is over and they refund the money. Now he tells me in order to switch my accounts it will cost me 15 dollars. Now I understand it is not a lot of money, however I can not help but feel like I am being penalized for someone stealing my information. As a customer you want to feel as if your financial institution will protect you and your information, not try and nickel an dime you for fraud. By the way I just received a threatening letter letting me know they will report me to the credit bureau if I dont bring my account current. Thank you DCFCU for caring for your customers.
