I totally did not understand why I needed to visit the branch to make changes to my CD and why only one banker was on duty during a normal business day. They have a nice size parking lot and a drive through as well as ATM's. Walking inside I scanned the area, and I found this location to be immaculate and comfortable as it should be. A few people on-line and in the lobby waiting for assistance. I walked in, baffled, not knowing where to go, a rep asked if I needed help as she was helping a customer. We sat at a table waiting for assistance. When the rep was able, she came over and guided me to the ATM and showed me how to use the machine and sticking by my side, assuring that I would be able to complete the task at hand with little to no assistance for the next visit. She was very helpful, and I appreciate her patients with me. They also have a game that you can play, I think it is called, connect four. You can play this game for entertainment if you are not alone. it was an awesome visit. That being said- Inspire more, Yelp more!

I went Christmas morning to deposit some money and had no problem getting in. Went to another store in the same shopping center and as I left two men were standing outside of the bank asking if I was just able to get in, they weren't able to. I was hoping I wasn't about to be robbed, so I hesitantly tried to help to find out that sure enough, none of our cards couid unlock the doors.

We decided to stop into the branch to see if someone could help. From the moment we walked in, everyone greeted us warmly and made us feel welcome. One of the tellers in particular went above and beyond to assist my granddaughter. They were patient, kind, and took the time to make sure her account was properly logged in and working again before we left. It meant a lot that they treated her with such care and made sure she understood everything. Excellent customer service and a great example of how helpful a bank branch can be. So, show up earlier, and she's not on staff, and no one else is a notary. But worse than this branch is the systemic rot that is Citibank. Try and effect a one-time wire transfer. Citi claims it's a "same-day" wire, but after exhaustive investigation into non-receipt, you learn there's a secret protocol whereby the bank can freeze the wire transfer for up to 24 hours. Not just 24 hours though, turns out they claim 24 "bank" hours, or three days. Almost lost a house at closing because of these monsters. Ruined what should have been a joyous day.

The problem got resolved that we were trying to fix a teller had to resolve it! Teller experience! During covid seems to be a long wait and you must be patient! They are working as fast as they can you can just tell! So kudos to them. It does take about 10 min each transaction. Literally every time I walk in there is a "Out of Service" paper taped to the machine. I've been told by the people in there that it happens almost daily, and that they've called to have it serviced. Really now? I also should call ahead to see if it's working first before I come in. On top of that, I was told by a fellow behind that center desk as well as a teller behind the wall that they "don't give out coin rolls or deal with coins at all". So why is it that when I go to NHP or Westbury I can get $20 in quarters, and $30 in dimes without any questions asked? I inquired to the manager at westbury about this and he said that there isn't any branch to branch policy about that, I should just be able to ask for as many $10 rolls of quarters as I would like. He did note that chances are they wouldn't have rolls of half dollars or dollars. haha. It's great that this location opened up, but there still is stuff they have to fix to have it running smoothly. As hesitant as I am at $4/gal gas prices, unless I need to deposit a check or make an ATM withdrawal, I will make the drive to another branch because I know they can take care of all of my banking transactions without fail.

Called and was told it would show up within 2-3 statements. Not acceptable to me, further called executive offices and was told because I have an autograph card that I don't even use- I was not entitled to the bonus reward! Unbelievable - the only reason I opened a new card with them was for the reward! They stink - will no longer have my buy. I suggest people beware! Would be zero stars but they don't have that.

If you don't have the cash then  you'll be treated by a nice teller or a relationship banker like you were a transaction.  This has been my experience as well as my wife.  However, today was the first time ever we set food inside a Bank Of America branch.  We were greeted by a friendly and beautiful smile from Savika Hosein (who I assume is the branch manager) and then appointed to Mackenley "Mack Attack" Gourdet.  Our reason for our visit was to find info on the POD process once a relative has passed.  We have been going through a tough time dealing with my wife's father's death and Mack was very  sympathetic and so was Ms Savika.  They were kind and very informative during the whole process.  Mack provided clear instructions on how to execute a letter of instruction as well as help us open a savings account in under 1hr.  He was very professional and made the process painless.  I am not sure why but this place feels like home.  They care about each individual and they just met us and yet we felt like our money was safe.  I don't give high ratings or recommendations on banks often but to all who read this.  If you ever need a place to keep your money safe and you can find many locations with ample parking.  I highly recommend Bank of America.  But if you want the amazing customer centric experience we just had please visit: Bank Of America 1431 Hempstead Tpke Elmont, NY 11003 Ask for Mack Gourdet and tell him Mick or Rachelle recommended you.  See my photos for info.  Thank you for all your help during this tough time for my family. I really wish someone would investigate what is going on at this bank. I opened an account in…read moreJanuary, and they held my account for 14 days before I could use it. This lead to $96 in late fees. I'm mad but I can use it. I try to use my brand new debit card at the grocery store but it won't work. Seems after I set my pin BoA decided it was not me and locked me out and changed my password which could not be taken care of over the phone. So I had to leave everything and go to this branch. An hour of waiting and changing my password I'm now back at the store again shopping for a second time. Back to the cashier, card still not working. I'm on line and on the phone with this piece of sh1t bank who tells me the lockout lasts for 24 hours and there is no override. I move on, a week later my card chip malfunctions 8-10 times in a week 5-10 minutee each time to get a manager of the store to type in my # by hand. But the final straw was, I electronically sent money from one account to this BoA account and they excepted it held it for two days then sent it back charging me $39. I checked with my TD account and they said it was fine no answer why BoA sent it back. Back to BoA they won't refund the charge even though they said it was their fault. Now in returning the deposit my balance withcthe charge went negative and they charged me another fee. All their fault. I'm now trying to transfer the money with this branches blessing and hopes they'll except my dirty money coming from TD without raping me for another $78 BS in charges. Over all meaning taking into account every Bank of America they have a rating of 1 and 1 half stars by people who have or had accounts. In the banking business it's ratings are even lower. AVOID THIS AND ALL BANK OF AMERICA'S EVERYWHERE AND TELL YOUR FRIENDS THE SAME. Want proof? Just go down there anytime of the day and just listen to all the complaining the customers are making while they spend all their time there getting nothing done. One last point their ATM machines have been out of money or just out of order 4 times in a week and that is after they were out 3 times the week before. AVOID,AVOID,AVOID!!!!! Once I get my money I'll be gone as fast as possible.
