Factually the Lowest rated bank in the United States I will start with the facts, JP Morgan Chase is not accredited with the Better Business Bureau, almost all reputable banks are, Better Business Bureau has a disclaimer on the main page for Chase bank notifying you, they have so many complaints for Chase they can only publish one out of five complaints, hmmm. Chase bank has 1.3 score on trust pilot, right on par with black market sites, hmmm. Chase bank has a 1.2 score on this website, hmmm. I believe we have established a patterns based on facts. Do NOT bank with this company! I have had several experiences with this bank, first experience, they allowed someone to open several lines of credit in my name with absolutely no verification, wow that was super fun. A few years pass by and I unfortunately, decide to pick up the Freedom Unlimited card. I call them to set up my online account as a first time customer, this four hour call consists of verifying my information 10 separate times with 10 separate supervisors, all of which, of course would not give me their names or employee ID's, the summary of this call was for me to drive to a local branch forty minutes from my location so they can call them, hmmmm. That sounds productive. At this point I decide I will claim my cash back offer for opening the account, lock the card and pay off the balance. So I transfer the cash back from the Freedom Unlimited card to my personal checking account of twenty years, you know a Real bank, my personal checking account has the exact same name as my Freedom Unlimited card and both accounts have the exact same address. The system says, hey this isn't your account, we will have to make two deposits within 3 business days and get back to us with those amounts so we can verify your account. I go through this annoying process and it verifies my account, I then transfer the cash back to my personal checking account. I then receive calls, texts and emails from Chase that my account has been flagged for fraud and locked. I then call them to get back on the Chase hamster wheel of death, over the course of two days I call back 4 times to unlock my account for fraud, which apparently is transferring money from my account in my name to my account in my name, absolutely hilarious. I explain to the final supervisor, due to your error, once again, I will bounce a check, what can you do about that? He offers his apologies. Oh I thought this was a bank, where we deal in money and honor our obligations. Chase bank has earned every bad review it's been given, and will continue to do so. Just imagine the 100's of thousands of people who simply cancelled their accounts and didn't want to spend their time posting a review. read more

Why list a number for your business if its just an automated Chase Robot?! No local branch number found anywhere except for Michelle Trabbia who doesn't answer her phone. Not helpful banking. read more

Go to this location if you need business to be taken care of. Kevin and his staff are outstanding. They quickly completed a simple task with great customer service unlike the 300 University branch in Provo (Ayee caramba!). Tip of the day: Avoid the Provo location and just come here to save you time and energy. read more

Horrible service! The lady who was supposed to help people open a credit card account said so many things that made us frustrating, like "Chase doesn't depend on credit card business" "we are picking about who we give credit card to..." and helped nothing! Such a bad service! read more

I had a student account with chase and after 5 years they charge the monthly fee. I'm still a student so I've been charged it for like 5 months so I went in there and changed it back to a student account and then asked if I could get back to charges for the monthly fees because I have proof I was always a student. He said he'd see what he could do for me but probably not. So then he asked me if I wanted to close out my old account so I wouldn't have to do it later and I said yes so he closes it then literally right after it he says "I can't change those charges now because I closed your account sorry." And I look at this paper he gave me and my account isn't even closed yet because I have a pending balance on it. So he 1. Manipulated me and 2. Lied to me that my account was closed. Totally dishonest guy. Manipulative. And dishonest he knows my brother and sister and tried to be all nice to me while he totally screwed me over. DO NOT SEE KEVIN WOODS. Rosa Albarran on the other hand is AMAZING. She was kind and instantly helped fix my problem when I came back in furious with what Kevin did. I recommend going to her every time you come to this branch. She is the only reason I gave 2 stars. If I could leave a separate review on Rosa I would. read more

Nice people. Although some of their policies could be better (like not allowing cash deposits for non-customers), the people working here are great. I'm not a customer, but they tried to do their best to accommodate my needs. Great people. read more

My daughter FINALLY got her money back after several weeks and only THANKS TO AUSTIN, the bank manager who was so helpful. It was a nightmare and should have never happened!! Chase never once called our bank to see if the check was good or valid. The way it was handled was the strangest thing ever and so wrong! read more

I've been a customer since they took over WaMu years ago and have been using this branch in Orem UT for the last almost 5 years. Went in this week to make a small deposit into my account and they insisted on ID. I've NEVER been asked for that before, including the deposit a couple weeks prior so I asked why. They feel anyone who wants to use cash is a drug dealer!!!! This was a SMALL deposit and I have made a few similar deposits in the past with no problem. Looking for a better bank now where I won't be accused of being a drug dealer for not using a debit card instead of cash. Should not be a problem to find one read more

I honestly don't even want to give you 1 star. At both the Fort Union location and the Orem location on 800 E. I had to wait 30 mins. I was the 3 car in the line at the drive up each time and I had to wait 30 mins. when I pulled up to the Orem location the first car was already in the middle of the transaction so for me to wait 30 minutes for 1 1/2 transactions is a joke. It appears they have an individual running the window that isn't a teller. So each time he has to walk away and wait for a teller to do the transaction inside the bank. It's too the point where I am seriously considering pulling my account from them. read more

Customer service at this branch is terrible! You have to wait a very long time to get help. It's better to make an appointment, but then it takes 45 minutes to set up an account! I worked at a bank over 20 years ago before fancy computer systems and it took about 15 minutes. One time I came in about 20 minutes before closing and they said they would not be able to help me because it would take longer than 20 minutes. When I worked at a bank we helped anyone who was in the door before closing. I went in three times before someone finally was able to help me set up my business account so I could actually access it online. When I finally was able to access, I see that they have been dinging me with a fee every month: something I was not aware would happen. They also told me my high school age daughter would need to have a $300 minimum in her savings account. I knew the rep was wrong because my other daughter has a student savings account without a minimum. So after setting up a checking, we had to leave without being able to set up savings. Someone called from Chase the other day. He asked me how it was going and I told him my frustration. The thing was, he only wanted to sell me on some stuff, so he wasn't interested in helping resolve anything. I am closing my accounts. read more
