Hit or miss experience, sometimes very friendly and helpful other times staff is rude. Just depends the mood.

This place is awful. Once my wife got a check she was waiting for in the mail, and there was an issue with the sender. So Chase locked her account when she tried to deposit it and the manager here would not unlock it. Also he did not want to give my wife whatever money she had in her account before the deposit of the check. He just laughed at her and kicked her out. They also need to fix their drive up ATM, it's been broken for over a year. It won't take deposits or dispense money. You can't even access the lobby ATM after hours. I'd expect this from a no name branch in San Bernardino but not in this area. Also the parking lot is crap, people's cars get broken into all the time, usually right in front of the bank. read more

Very poor experience. Was trying to help my mom get set up for a credit card and was being helped by a guy named Martin. He was not explaining things well and had a nasty attitude, like he didn't want to answer my questions. We've been banking with Chase for years and have never had a negative experience until today. It took forever but the Bank manager was so helpful in helping us get some money that was lost after a deposit into bank a point they literally closed the same the money was deposited. I have been a customer of Chase for many years. Recently, I came back to open a chase private client account, both checking and saving. I was impressed by the friendly and efficient service. I was greeted warmly and helped right away. The account creation process was quick and easy. I was done in less than half an hour. This location is great for anyone who needs personal and professional banking assistance. Unlike some other branches, this one has plenty of tellers and staff available. The customer service was terrible at this location. I went in to open a business account and there was no one or nowhere to check in other than going to the teller window. I let Mallory know why I was there and she responded with "I don't know where the guy is but if you want to sit down and wait, he'll find you." Whoever "he" is, he didn't know I was there to find me so that made no sense. Then she asked if I wanted to make an appointment because it was 3:40 and they close at 5 so they might not be able to get it done before they close. It takes an hour and 20 minutes to open an account??? Then she asked if I wanted to do it on the tablet and I said no because I tried to do it online and got to the last step and website errored out so that's why I came in the branch. Then she goes back to the tablet to look for appointments because it was too late in the day. I just left... who wants to do business at this branch if this is how you treat customers before you even get their money. read more

Literally the worst bank, devastated in tied up in family accounts and have to stay here. Got a government check from EDD that was already late after an injury... now my deposit will be held for 10 days... This middle aged woman with brown hair and wearing glasses who stands nearby to talk to you as you enter inside the branch. Learned that she was the manager of this Chase location, but couldn't get her name cause she refused to share her name. We came in to meet with a Chase employee who can help open a joint account. This 'manager' of Chase individual she claimed to be - She walked in one of the meeting cubicles where we were in without the employee requesting assistance and starts interfering, interrupting in a disrespectful manner with our meeting. This is very unacceptable and Chase will not tolerate any employees employed to discriminate and mistreat their customers and staff. We felt discriminated and started interrogating personal questions to the point being in an interrogation room in a police station we regret so much visiting this Chase off of Miliken Ave, Rancho Cucamonga. Eventually word spreads out she will get terminated for her position as Branch Manager of Chase. Will Avoid this Chase location for now on and never return in a lifetime. read more

I walked in at this bank today 4/13/2019 There was only couple clients at the branch. I looked around for assistance, the branch manager came to asked me what was my visit about when he heard I was there for a fraud/stolen check concern. But I guess it was not important to him to assist me with my situation. He told me to sign in and someone will assist me, It was a $750 check and I felt that the branch manager didn't care, how are his employees care for his clients if he has poor customer service skills. Chase Bank branches at Haven/Baseline/Archibald/19th St both told me that while their branches did not offer notary services, the branch at Foothill/Milliken does and the service is free for Chase account holders, which I am. I called Chase at Foothill/Milliken and was told they do offer notary services but it's only free for Chase documentation. I explained I had non-Chase pension paperwork to notarize and they said I could make an appointment, come in and have them scan the papers to their home office, then they'd review and decide if it's covered by the free service or if Id have to pay. I TOLD THEM NO!!! I'd just go walk in and pay the $10 per page at a Postal Express rather than possibly waste my time at Chase. HORRIBLE CHASE SERVICE FOR AN ACCOUNT HOLDER!!! read more

Been to this branch pretty often. Some of the tellers always greet very nicely and make my transaction quick and easy. As for the manager, Tommy, can't begin to express on how rude and arrogant he is. I have had a few encounters with him myself and seems that he is the same every time we speak. He will NEVER greet you with a smile or for the sake of his job, be polite. (Which I believe is a great aspect of a branch manager) Compared to other branches, don't see how he maintains this position with how shady and non welcoming he is. Today I had to close my Chase account. For years my husband raved about their service and today I saw it in action! Patty helped me close the account. The ONLY reason I was closing it was due to the fees I had to pay for dipping below the minimum balances - due to Covid. Patty understood and even helped with some of these fees which was invaluable to me. I will definitely think of chase and Patty the next time I look into banking! Thank you!!!!! read more

Do not know why this place gets a bad review from people. For me they are nice and helpful. They welcome you and also say bye to you when you are about to leave. I did my thing and I was out in less than two minute. Also, the drive thru can get crowded at times, so just walk inside where they have like 7 ATM machines. read more

Used to the lunchtime rush but surprisingly there weren't many people. Even so, just asking for information took almost 45 minutes. I told one of the floor guys what I needed and he went to ask for assistance. Fine. 10 minutes later a lady comes out and as I'm telling her what information I needed (simple phone number) she began to talk over me and continued to cut me off. Once done she goes to the back to retrieve the phone number, while I proceed to wait for 15 more minutes. I'm over it all. Chase has high interest rates regardless of how long you've had the account, people are rude and you have to jump through hoops just for simple inquiries. Rarely will I give 1 star reviews to businesses. Especially a bank because I understand they may get busy. However after 2 attempts in opening a business account and having to wait one hour each time, then a 1 star review is absolutely warranted. I came in on a Saturday waited an hour, then told them that I understand that they are busy and that I am willing to make an appt. Left my number to receive a call for an appt so that I do not have to wait. I never received a call. Came back in today and have been waiting for an hour and I honestly do not even why I have not left to take my business elsewhere. Will give them a few more minutes before leaving. Good service most of the time . recently I had to cancel my debit card because I had random charges on it and I don't know where it came from. When I was on the phone with the man who cancelled it he said it would take 10 days to get my new one . So a week goes by and I call to see if I can track where it is or see how much longer . The lady on the phone says I have no new debit card on the way . How do they cancel my debit card and not send a replacement ? I shouldn't have to ask for a new debit card the man that I talked to in the first place should've sent it already . AWESOME EXPERIENCE. So my friend and I did such a stupid mistake trying to deposit her check into my account and then her account, to which it's technically fraud on my part. BUT MIGUEL TOOK SUCH GOOD CARE OF US. Walked us through everything, did everything in his power so that the back end of the chase bank knew that I wasn't trying to steal a check. Tried to be open minded as we have just relocated from Florida and needed to find a home branch, this one was a little closer to us than other branches. However after having read the bad reviews, and coming in at 3:22 PM on a Monday afternoon, they still appear to be understaffed even on a traditionally slow day. People have been waiting a long time and one long-time customer told me they shifted a little while back to kiosks instead of live tellers and ever since then it's been a nightmare there. I attempted to make SMILING eye contact :-) with multiple employees and the looks they gave back were not as they were happy to see me nor anyone else. Based on that, The long line waiting to see someone, the long line for the tellers, I decided to go elsewhere and save myself the frustration. Headed to 19th St. location which has all five star comments. UPDATE: the one on 19th in Rancho Cucamonga is GREAT! Totally different atmosphere, they actually like their customers at that branch and they also love where they work. Another reason I'm thankful for Yelp! The poor rating I see hear does not surprise me just had a very bad experience with branch manager MARIA Silvestre I have a personal account that I have had for 10 plus years for the last two years I have been getting change for my job there with no issue today I am told that they will not give me change because my business account is not with them. The worst customer service I have ever had. I signed in to open an account for my son and the bank rep skipped me for another customer that was inquiring about 401k options. I made a complaint to chase corporate office and closed all my accounts at chase. I will never again use chase. I would rather stuff money in a mattress then open an account with this bank. Had an appointment today at 5:30 showed up 15 minutes early. As I was walking through the first set of doors I seen most of the bankers behind the second set of doors. My first thoughts were they must be doing temperature checking due to covid-19, wrong. As I approach the glass doors, this douche bag is pointing at I guess a "closed sign" I get closer and he states behind the closed doors "we're closed" I responded " I have an appointment at 5:30" it's roughly 5:18PM he then states " we have an emergency shut down, we will contact you" mind you his attitude is very rude and aggressive. I asked him why and he then said " we will contact you, I don't want to be yelling through these doors " (we were communicating just fine no 'yelling' whatsoever)..wtf 15 minutes before my appointment no contact whatsoever until a lazy ass automated email was sent at 5:22PM that still didn't state why of this shut down..8 minutes before an appointment? Very unprofessional man I rush back from work because this is the only available time I have for you to come at me all crazy. Real tough guy behind some glass, on top of all that I just checked my account and they locked it due to suspicious activity? The teller was not patient and missed several bills when I tried to change from small bills to large ones. I prefer not to expose her name here just did not want to her lose her job.
