During my lunch break, Yessenia helped me at the counter, not only giving me the euros I ordered, but also letting me know about the blue travel credit card offered by Bank of America.. She emailed me the details, which I will consider after reading up on it some more. I appreciate Yessenia's professionalism, kindness, and friendliness. After that, I took a picture of the large spacious area in this branch of Bank of America. It is a great upgrade compared to when I came years ago. It's inviting, with are comfortable chairs and couches to sit on as you wait for your appointment, and there are at least 5 separate offices with frosted over windows for people who want to have a private consultation with one of the bank staff to set up accounts, etc. Two beautiful art pieces on the wall caught my attention. They had descriptions of the artist on the side kind of like you would see in a gallery. It was a nice touch. There are still several blank walls that would be very much spruced up by other visual art. I think art makes corporate places like banks feel less sterile and more human. In any case, fantastic impression of this branch of BOA today. Mostly thanks to Yessenia!

Amazing how time flies when we're having fun. I normally prefer to use the ATM versus walking into the bank for my banking needs unless I need to speak to someone or need to get something done that I can't get done via ATM. Nowadays, I'm finding myself walking into the bank more often than not because I'm helping my Mom with money stuff LOL. This Claremont branch is where I get my and my Moms banking needs done. If you have extra time to spare, it's nice to stroll around downtown Claremont... a very quaint place. Staff at this location is professional, friendly, and helpful. Sometimes you might get a bank teller who isn't the most pleasant... don't let them ruin your day just because it's just not their nature to be friendly... they can't help it. Whenever I walk into this branch, there is always a wonderful coffee aroma. I don't drink coffee, but I enjoy a good frap. I explained to the teller named Danielle, that we wanted to close my accounts. The teller stated , "I can't close your account, you would have to speak to one of the bankers. The banker named, Jackie, just finished with a customer and deliberately not wanted to tend to my husband and I. She ignored us until my husband asked her, "when you get a minute, can you help us with our accounts? She said, "sure", but made us wait another 5 minutes. We informed her that we needed to close our accounts, however , she stated,"I have an appointment right now and I can't help you, but you can call the number on the back of your atm card, and they can cancel it for you. She also said, I don't understand why the teller told you she couldn't close your account. You can close your account with one of the tellers. So my husband got in line and closed his account with the teller. There's a second part to this bank experience. A second time, about a couple weeks later, my mom and I came into the bank. My mom wanted to deposit her checks. My mom is in a wheelchair, so I was pushing her on her wheelchair to the teller window. While my mom was signing her checks, the other teller, Danielle, who stated she couldn't close my account from the last time I was in the bank was at the window next to the teller helping my mom and starts speaking in Spanish with the teller helping my mom. I think it is so rude and disrespectful when a teller who is supposed to be assisting a customer turns her head away from the customer's attention and has a full on Spanish conversation with her fellow teller coworker while helping a customer. At the same time, the other teller, Danielle, is looking at me and my mom. This Wells Fargo Bank branch is horrible with rude staff and unwilling to assist you.

California Bank & Trust has given Pomona Valley Towing authorization to tow vehicles parked in a…read moreshared public parking lot hours after the bank is closed and not conducting business. The tow company is predatory. They will wait for you to park and not long after will tow you and anyone else parked in those spots to the tow yard. There are no signs at the entrance of the lot saying parking not allowed, it's a public parking lot and even on each individual parking sign there is no specific information about no parking after business hours. I was charged $483 tonight to get my car out of the tow yard. I will be looking further into this matter legally and reporting this business, along with the tow company for confusing patrons in the area about parking in spots with no mention of completely prohibiting parking or making clear mention that parking isn't allowed after business hours. I am a new mother and hardly get any down time outside of work and family life to unwind. The one night I decide to, this happens. My $50 dinner turned into a $500 nightmare.

My experience is consistently different…read more The most convenient branch to us is up on Foothill, but every time we enter that branch they seek to harass and annoy us by blocking any transaction for one reason or another. -- Anyway, my wife ended up at this Indian Hill branch late yesterday, after being chewed up and spit out by the folks at 805 W. Foothill. The teller at the Indian Hill branch smiled and greeted her. Everything "wrong" at Foothill was not a problem at this branch. The gentleman at the teller window knew exactly how to fulfill a simple task. It was done in under a minute. -- I think JPMC will soon be forced to deploy AI-tellers. I have four accounts with them and I am seriously considering moving them away. It seems that depriving them of revenue and telling the story on Yelp is our only recourse.

However, several months back they closed on the weekends... not sure why... maybe due to staffing issues as a result of COVID-19... who knows. Prior to their weekend closures, I had very good experiences with this bank. It's a good size bank... lots of space inside. Bank tellers were pleasant and smiley... that's always nice. They made the transactions go very smooth. They were staffed with 4-5 bank tellers at a time which was great especially on the weekends. Security guard at the front entrance was friendly and helpful. Its location was perfect because it's near the place where I would pick up my Mom from for our Saturday San Gabriel Valley food run LOL. Maybe one day, they'll reopen it back up on the weekends.
