For One, CHASE BANK IS NOT FDIC INSURED. I called FDIC myself today and they told me they were NOT FDIC insured. I was directed to The Comptroller of Currency at 800-613-6743. Also, Chase Bank only covers fraudulent charges for business banking accounts if it is reported within 30 days per Chase Bank "escalated fraud department". I am a victim of a Data Breach with Jefferson Dental which lead to identity theft due to not being notified of the breach for six months after the fact. Once I was notified of the breach, I begin to go through my bank account statements and CC statements line by line and month by month only to find many fraudulent charges on the credit cards, personal and business accounts. I contacted my local branch to report the charges only to learn, the charges where more than 30 days old, I was XXXX out of luck. I explained the circumstances of the breach and provided Chase with the letter from the data breach and they still refuse to work with me on anything after their 30 day deadline date, even though the victims were not notified until 6 months after the breach. I provided a copy of the Class A law suit from our attorney and still couldn't get an exception for the 30 days. Second, they refused to close the business account while it was over drawn when fraudulent charges continued to occur. They cashed forged checks and it is very obvious the checks had been washed. I went to the local bank after the third forged check was funded and cleared my account and ask what a signature card was for. I was looked at really strange and pushed out of their bank lobby area. Due to the ongoing fraudulent charges, they decided to take away the credit cards but, not close the two accounts???? I am now moving forward with going live on the news. I have been reported Chase Bank to the Federal Trade Commission and the Consumer Advocacy Attorney. I will not stop there if I do not get my money refunded and the 100's of hours spent on this situation. I can and will stand behind every word I have put in the review. I could share so MUCH more about the unethical way Chase has handled my accounts. Not to mention, they Chase let someone come in to the branch with a piece of paper stating they were XXXX and, Chase gave this person 39K without notifying me. I was the only signer on the account and learned the money was missing when I logged into the account after the weekend. When I confronted the Chase, they said, he showed a piece of paper and his ID. From my personal and business experience. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR MONEY! There is not a number low enough to give Chase Bank a score.

Steven assisted me throughout the transaction, and I want to make it clear that he provided excellent customer service and was helpful and professional. During the process, I was not receiving a verification code, so Steven had to step away to locate the manager. A manager named Daisy came into the office and went directly to the computer to address the issue. She did not introduce herself, acknowledge me, or even offer a simple greeting. I understand that she may have been focused on resolving the issue, so I did not make an issue of it at the time. However, after she finished, Daisy walked out of the office. As she passed me, I intentionally said, "Hello, Daisy," as a simple courtesy and acknowledgment. She completely ignored me, continued walking, and never even turned around. That interaction left me feeling extremely disrespected. A customer should never feel invisible or insignificant, especially when interacting with the manager of a bank branch. Basic courtesy, professionalism, and respect should not be optional--particularly for someone in a management position. I am not complaining because I expected special treatment. I expected the same basic respect that any customer should receive. If a customer takes the time to greet you, the appropriate response is simply to acknowledge them. I made sure to thank Steven personally for his excellent customer service before leaving, because he deserved recognition for the way he treated me. Unfortunately, my experience with Daisy overshadowed what otherwise could have been a positive visit. Bank of America should expect better customer service from its management staff. A manager represents the bank, and something as simple as acknowledging a customer can make a significant difference in how that customer feels about the entire organization. I hope this branch takes this feedback seriously and addresses the importance of basic professionalism and customer respect with its management team.

Daisy is the manager and is friendly and incredibly knowledgeable (which is rare these days). I've been so pleased that I'm considering moving my accounts there.
