Rude and horrible customer service, no smile not nice, she was a Hispanic female with glasses. Never coming back here. I should have asked her name, she sat in the first cubicle close to the main entrance. She stated I needed to schedule an appt and that she wasn't going to help me because they closed in 30 minutes, and that is fine, it's just the way she said it. The way she spoke and her facial expressions. I went to the Sylmar branch and much better service they helped me schedule an appt and explained the process of what I needed and how long it took. Christina is horrible! looks like she hates her job and gives off bad vibes! She does the bare minimum and its just seems like its hassle for her. She talk soooooo loud that when shes on the phone giving out your information everyone can hear. Terrible customer service. Tellers are so rude and seem like they hate their job. Chase for Business accounts is not the way to go. Open elsewhere !! They blocked my account for a 40$ Zelle and when I Kept calling multiple times that they had " fixed " the problem it was the same. If chase does that to a business for 40$ imagine bigger amounts which is usually what businesses work with , bigger amounts. Woman at the window answered very rudely when I asked if she was open with a very aggressive attitude. Had to wait 30 min for my appointment that was suppose to be 30 min. Apart from the person I had an appointment with was at another branch even though the address was the one I was at. I'll make one thing clear, I usually give my ratings not based on one single bad experience. People have bad days, understaffed, etc so I usually tend to wait for a second visit to give a business the benefit of the doubt. That being said, I am only basing this review on a single experience as it pertained to the manager at this local branch and how 3 days later we still have yet to be contacted by Corporate. My wife happened to just get off of work and had to run to the nearest Chase bank to make a deposit on her sisters account. Not being Chase members, I'll admit we aren't familiar with any policies or procedures but the overall lack of empathy and customer service is unacceptable on any level. When she arrived she was assisted by a young lady who then referred my wife's request to the manager. An older salt and peppered Latin male. I would use his name but when I called the branch to speak to him directly they refused to give me that information or speak to him. I suppose this had to be because we don't bank at Chase, but i digress. This person (we won't give him the honor of being referred to as a Gentleman), was acting in a rude manner. Not friendly or helpful at all. In fact, my wife mentioned it looked like she was bugging him just by being in his mere presence. Making snide comments and mentioning to her that she's "not a regular customer" and "There's a Bank of America 2 blocks away" when she asked to purchase a money order! When my brother in-law called and spoke to him directly he pretty much lied to him and told him the opposite of exactly what happened. Not once apologizing for being rude or condescending. As a Manager, I'd figure your job would be to make everybody feel welcomed regardless of being customers or not. After all, your trying to build a relationship of trust and maybe win customers over to your side. I'd hate to find out how he treats the Spanish speaking community which makes up 90% of the residents in our fair city. The moral of this review? I know this person won't be reprimanded and when they read this they'll just laugh it off and pay off Yelp to remove the review or place it in the magical "Reviews not recommended" section. I once encountered a piece of street art in Highland Park that had the quote, "Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle". Ever since then I've tried to live my life by it. Start off by saying thank God I don't bank with Chase the only reason why I came to this chase bank was because I was going to put some money into my moms account but it was crazy the line was so long and there was only two bank tellers and when I went to the window I told Mauricio if the lines were always like that and he said yes but he didn't have courtesy to apologize for the long wait or anything so I will never open an account with Chase I love Citibank I will never change them and plus they are in every 7 Eleven you see. Chase is great, but this place is the slowest chase in Los Angeles. I waited 30 minutes just to get into my safety deposit. Going to close it down. Hire more people. Went into this sat morning and when they opened the door I asked the young lady if anyone could help me with my account because I had some unauthorized withdrawals on it. She informed me they had no appointments and I told her i needed to please speak to a banker because I had been told the same thing the day before . She then asked a banker by the name of Sergio Avalos if he could help me and he replied no. I told him I'd been told the same thing the day before and he replied by saying "then you should know you need to make an appointment " . He then stood up out of his chair and continued tell me he wouldn't help because of my attitude. Perhaps mr Avalos isn't a morning person or doesn't like working weekends? In that case it's time to find another job. I hope that's not what this has come down too where employees of financial institutions conduct business with no sense of customer service and no consequences for mistreating customers . read more

Beware of Marianela Botto. She handles 401k and other investments. I dealt with her regarding a rollover and she was viciously rude. I had a 401k sitting with Chase for over 10 years. It didn't grow much. When I attempted to transfer my funds to another investment company, she told me I didn't know anything about investments and that she can diversify my account so it will perform better. Why wasn't this done 10 years ago?? I would have considered it if she wasn't condescending and disrespectful. I'd rather bank elsewhere. I attempted to contact her manager, Francisco Gallan, and my calls were never returned. Apparently they could care less about customer service. If I could give negative stars, I would.
