I was buying a car cash, and I needed a cashier's check to process payment. After a quick google search, I navigated to this Chase branch. Unlike other branches in the area, this branch has ample parking available. I parked in their sizable parking lot. I walked inside and thankfully it was not too busy. After a short wait in line, I went to the window and asked for a cashier's check. After a short verification process, the teller was able to process my cashier's check. I was then on my merry way to buy my new car. This branch was convenient. The workers here were efficient and professional in their service. The branch is kept clean, and the place is protected well. It got to the point that I am taking my business somewhere else. I had to wait over 30 minutes for a simple transaction just to speak with someone with a pulse that could help me. When the moment comes down to convert or replace tellers / personal bankers to robots or outsource overseas. I'll be in favor. They don't want to help or go over and beyond in service. Rather, drive customers to go online or call a provided phone number. Which is very inequitable and falls under the assumption that everyone has access to internet and a mobile phone. The interaction with banking professional and client has major opportunities for improvement. When I'm asking questions RE my account. The banking professional is using industry language and jargon, it's not fair or aiming to cultivate ease of understanding. Imagine if doctors only spoke at a level of 22+ years of education to the public, while the national reading literacy is a 5th grader. CHASE....simply do better! I only used the ATM at this location for a deposit I needed to make. It was early afternoon on a Monday. Parking was perfectly fine, which was nice. That meant that the branch wasn't busy and possibly a short line. There was a short line inside, but I wasn't willing to wait. There were ATMs available in the foyer, so I elected to do my deposit there. I had just came from the BoA ATM, which gave me a huge stack of 10-dollar bills. I was wondering how many times I'll have to shove cash into this ATM, because for the most part, ATMs can only take up to 30 bills. OMG, it said it can take up to 150! Perfect! It worked out well for me on this visit! IT did have a small problem reading 3 of the bills I was depositing, but it took it on the second attempt. I was in and out of there within 5-minutes! Normally would not complain about the customer service at this particular branch because it has been exceptional, but when it came to getting information about my IRA account the financial adviser they have there is not helpful at all! Went in the other day and told the gentleman in the front that I specifically wanted to discuss my IRA account and they sent someone from personal banking and proceeds to tell that he doesn't handle retirement accounts, told him that's why I specifically requested a financial adviser. The personal banker continues to say that he would give my info to the financial adviser and would get a call back that same day. This has happened twice already where the financial adviser does not follow up at all! Never got that call back, still waiting to hear from financial adviser. Decided to call Chase directly and the phone rep was far more helpful! Needless to say will be taking my retirement fund somewhere else! I am so excited!!! I just moved to AZ and due to sercumstances my bank who was BOA closes my account. I was denied cashing State Checks at Wal Mart and Frys and never in my life had I been denied to cash a check!!! Through many many calls to State and such, Someone said this could be identity theft? I'm posting a review based only on the ATM's. I did not go in to use the teller service. The ATM's are old and not the newer ones. The parking lot of this location makes me feel uneasy. Not really in a nice area. I probably wouldn't use this ATM at night. Feels a bit ghetto to me which is weird since it's next to some very populated and nice locations. Maybe if they update this site and the stores in this plaza, I might update my review. But based just on going to this location and using the ATM for a quick deposit, I won't be going here again unless I absolutely have to. Only reason Chase was chosen is because this was the recommendation and chosen bank for the non profit operations. A very nice Chase Bank...has 2 entrances...one at the street & one at the back by the parking lot. It's got 2 ATM's outside the building by the parking lot entrance, & 2 more ATM's just inside by that same entrance. Plenty of tellers too...they've got a water cooler & coffee available for all guests. if I weren't able to bank at a credit union & didn't mind having fees for banking & holds put on certain checks, I'd bank here. read more

Went to bank for a very simple request needed to replace a lost debit card. The representative that was there advised me they no longer replace/issue debit cards the same day. She needed to update my personal information and i would need to return to the branch another day to get the debit card replaced. I went to another chase bank location right after and had it replaced. I have never heard of such bank policy at any bank that requires a client to visit a branch 2 seperate times to get a debit card issued. I feel she just didnt want to help. read more

Great service and great location with plenty of parking. Free water although I advise you limit yourself since there is no public restroom. Seems like most Chase Banks no longer offer public restrooms. Plenty of tellers for quick and friendly service too. This is the worst bank in the history of banks. It is overcrowded and not enough tellers. And their business line is a joke. After waiting behind several people waiting in the business line, I finally get to the front and the tellers tells me that the line is closed and someone else would help me. I was literally the last person in line and he chose not to help the very last person in line. So I once again had to wait in line in the personal banking line and waited even longer. I have never seen such bad customer service as I do when coming into Chase banks. The workers there have no common sense on how a customer is to be treated. This bank is the worst. I use Chase for my business checking. They never have more than 2 tellers working at a time. And the business window is ALWAYS CLOSED. Why? This branch is always busy. ALWAYS. but it's down the street from my office so I go here to make deposits because I think it will be quicker than driving to Tustin. NOPE! I guess I should have learned after 2 years of business, things are getting worse and NOT BETTER here. Santa Ana is one of the most (if not the most) densely populated cities in the country and this branch would rather phase out it use of tellers to force its customers to use its ATM services.
