I am happy our loan is over and we no longer have to deal with this company. Not only do they loose payments that were signed for, they send out multiple late payment notices when checks have been cashed and posted. The reps at the Central Valley location were helpful, but any phone support is null. Managers and/or Financial Representatives never return calls.

I liked that, as i use TD but their ATM is outside, which in the cold can be hard. A con is that the ATM was a little slow to load, but it could be doing things like vertifying that it is real money or checks. It was very easy to deposit money using the atm. I have been a patron of this bank for years & can not possibly say enough positive things about it…read more First off, I switched banks from a large bank to Highlands State Bank after I got tired of being robbed with literally illegal fees. Highlands State Bank is smaller but that's the best part. There is absolutely no fee checking. Open it with $50 and you could take $49 out the next day and there is no fee! Savings accounts just have to have $100 to prevent a monthly service fee. I am disabled & currently don't have a car. Not a problem, there is free completely mobile banking available. Get a rebate check from ebates.....that's ok, take a picture and deposit it with your smartphone. No need to even go in. The staff are amazingly kind & helpful! They go out of their way to make sure that whatever you need gets accomplished. I'm moving out of the area but because the mobile banking is so awesome, I will not be leaving them behind!

Bank of America totally sucks. My mom has done all of her banking with them for years. Besides a…read morenumber of checking accounts and an auto loan she had a Bank of America credit card. One day she noticed some fraudulent activity and immediately reported it to Bank of America. Her phone is set up to automatically notify her immediately when purchases are made. She saw a fraudulent activity happening in real time and reported it to Bank of America. Even after she reported the Fraudulent activity someone still tried to use the account again at an Apple store after the account had been frozen. Yet Bank of America claims that when the fraudulent charges were made, "the chip was used" so they refused to honor the contractual agreement which should indemnify her if the fraud is reported in a reasonable amount of time. Bank of America claims they did an investigation but they did not. Even though my mom went through all the trouble to file a police report about the fraudulent activity, Bank of America did not investigate and instead only says that "the chip was used" so they're holding her responsible. The total amount of fraud was around $1500. I hope they enjoy that $1500 because my mom is closing all of her accounts and moving to TD Bank. She finds the people at TD Bank so much more friendly and the entire operation is so much nicer to deal with. Everything is so difficult with Bank of America. For example if you have a Bank of America service that you need to pay for with your checking or savings, such as a Bank of America auto loan or Bank of America credit card, it is so difficult and time-consuming to set it up for auto pay. At other banks it's just a few clicks. Do yourself a favor and choose any other bank then Bank of America. You will be much more satisfied.
