Unhelpful doesn't adequately explain the loan officer and managers interaction. The loan officer couldnt get past the phone tree. The manger Took over only to ask for ID which I dont have, just as he had hoped. Why does the manger ask for ID when I can call to discuss all I want? These banks who require customers to jump hoops can kiss my ass! Go anywhere else, but wells fargo. I did resolve the issue, but clearly the branches are incapable of servicing what they sell. Should I have another mortgage, I will make a stipulation that the mortgage can not be solid to wells fargo because I refuse to be treated as I was! After that disrespect there is no 2nd chance!

This has been by far the worst financial service every encountered in over 30 years of banking. In…read moreapplying for a VA loan, documents were repeatedly lost with some having to be submitted up to three times before they figured out how to keep track of them. In opening a required account for this loan, no account numbers were forwarded to me, however they were quick to send out the first billing statement 60 days prior to when the first payment was due. Justine Anderson was the loan officer and she continually proved that customer service is not a required asset to work for this bank. This was a charming way to treat a retired veteran with 28 years service. In calling the bank (as setting up auto bill pay was not allowed unless signing up under the aforementioned account that no one provided us documents for, they couldn't find the bank account number with the loan number. I have to have the bank account number in order to do this. I had banked with US Bank in the 80's and found them impersonal back then. Giving them another chance was clearly a mistake. Sadly, I'll day that I'll take Wells Fargo over USB any day...

One of the biggest conveniences for me has always been being able to deposit money quickly and safely using a drive-thru ATM--especially in this area where I feel more secure staying in my car. Unfortunately, this branch doesn't offer a drive-thru ATM at all. Yes, I can get out of my car to use the walk-up ATM or go inside, but that kind of defeats the whole point of quick and convenient banking. What's worse is that the ATM I used to rely on--by the Walmart in Wood Village--no longer accepts deposits either. It's frustrating when something as simple as depositing money turns into an unnecessary hassle. I hope Bank of America reconsiders bringing back drive-thru ATM options in this area.
