They ask you to call the company and resolve it yourself. You pay fees and trust them with your money and they make you do all the work if you have a problem. We started off with regular savings accounts and as we have changed, our accounts have changed with us. The branch staff is always knowledgeable no matter which branch I have gone to and the call center is really helpful. We also have a second mortgage with them and it was so easy. I have banked elsewhere including Huntington and US Bank. Neither are anywhere close to the service I get from Key Bank.

Third Federal did not make things easy for me by refusing to update the address of ONE statement…read morethat is mailed to an address where the family house was just sold. Instead, they told me not to be concerned because the account is closed and the mail will just be returned to the USPS!! They suggested I go to the post office and request address forwarding INSTEAD of them simply updating the address on that particular statement. I have a few larger accounts at this bank and now I'm going to be open to other banks that work with me better. They are absolutely ridiculous! I'm tired of just accepting this level of treatment. There is too much competition to deal with this.

The only regret that I have is that the nearest office is on Mentor Ave, Mentor Ohio 44060. I live on Nelson St. in Painesville, Ohio and have to take public transportation wherever I go. My P/t seasonal job is near downtown Painesville, and I am disabled with CHF and a bad left hip replacement. Sometimes I end up having to withdraw after work at a non-network ATM because I am exhausted and only want to get home, so I have to pay fees to US Bank and the institution that I withdraw money from.
