This place is a gem! Their website so understate the depth of the collection, the size, and the amazing special exhibits. If I lived near here, I'd join for sure. I was in town for a wedding and beside my hotel was this, what appeared to be small gallery. IT IS NOT SMALL! I was pleasantly surprised to find not only helpful staff, but also a large venue with a significant amount of AWESOME ART! Old, New, Contemporary, Classics, and even some Dali's. I was very surprised at the comprehensive selection of Art Fare. I highly recommend this as a must see in Fredricton. Check it out. read more

It's a little strange to review an art gallery, but since I used to live in Fredericton, I thought it might be fun. The blue Dali painting of a person riding a horse that looks like a post for a skylight is the most impressive part of the gallery. It always concerns me that all these beautiful paintings are so close to the Saint John River that seems to flood annually. I would feel safer if these treasures were up the hill, but I guess they're safe as long as they put them on high enough ground. They have lots of classical paintings too, but since I haven't been there in a very long time, I wouldn't be surprised if they added some modern paintings as well. It's certainly a nice place to visit, right downtown with a bike path between it and the river. read more

Awesome place. Very reasonable prices and definitely could spend a lot of time here. Definitely loved seeing the Salvatore paintings!!!

A few days ago,I visited this art museum located in the heart of Fredericton.Most of their famous paintings by famous painters were out on loan,including their paintings by John Constable,Alfred Sisley,and Salvador Dali.Nevertheless,I saw fine Renaissance Period paintings by Jaime Cirera(Spanish-"Saint Martin of Tours"),Marcellius Coffermans("Crucifixion" triptych),Bartholomeus Bruyn the Elder("Saint Elizabeth Giving Alms to Beggar",and Corneille de Lyon.I also saw fine British paintings by Myles Foster,Sigismund Goetze("Venus Visiting Vulcan"),William James Muller("On Banks of Nile with Boats and Figures"),John Grimshaw,and L.S.Lowry("Beach').Canadian painters like;Cornelis Kreighoff and Jack Humpheys were very well-represented.There also were quality Abstract paintings by Canadian painters on display like:Claude Roussel,Lawren Harris,and Romeo Savoie.The staff of this art museum was very devoted to Art and quite knowledgable. read more
